Nice place to stop and use the restroom. Two vault toilets. One dumpster. Two covered picnic tables. One monument. Plenty of parking space. Nice view. You could overnight here if you needed. Even if you don't need to stop, you should stop here and stretch your legs for a minute. You never know, it could change your life! This could be the place where you have the epiphany which changes your life forever for the better! Or it could be just a place to pee along the highway to elsewhere. That's pretty good, too.

Rating is for an experience. Not of quality of service. On 6/13 I stopped and unwittingly released my dogs during a thunderstorm. I searched the rest of that evening and two days following searching further and further away. I have left fliers and I have not heard anything. If someone sees them or knows they are dead because they were rescue dogs that were picked up for killing a dog within a pack of 5. I adopted Buddy first due to his looks and he was only 6 months on the right. Then Lulu named after the person that they filled in for. She was a big cow a stray her first 4 years size and her dietary habits. My thoughts were that even if I were to be the worst dog owner and I failed to train and socialize and I became abusive that I would have at least saved them from dying alone in a shelter because they were only pets and no children in the house top it off with serious management issues.

Minimalist rest stop with two out toilets and two picnic tables. Restrooms were very dirty. I’d consider this a last minute or emergency stop only.

Great place to walk. There is public land available through a open cattle gate in the fence. You can walk for miles.

Bathrooms were absolutely gross. Looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. One of the bathrooms had human feces on the toilet, walls, and floor. The only thing more sickening than that was the person who did it.

Two bathrooms, two toilets, plenty of parking space, i see like eight persons going to use the toilets, all of them including me almost threw up, really nasty, 40 minutes later I realized that I was on the middle of nowhere, there's no water available for everybody, after that I was feeling very great full and I retract my negative comments, happy to stop and take a break with my dogs . 🙏🙏🙏

Consider this stop a last resort. No sink. Toilets are basically holes to the ground. Got some white stuff on my sleeve from the door. Picnic area and parking are fine though.

If you need to go to the bathroom do not go here!! Discusting! No running water. A hole in the ground not clean at all! But for a stop and view it's ok. Garbage and two covered picnic tables.

Middle of no where, restrooms are like a scene out of a horror flim with bug infestations of migratimg mormon crickets. Just be prepared is all i will say opening the bathroom door. 4 stars because rest areas are crucial for travels! Never mind the bugs. Sleepy driving is dangerous. Wish i had my video of the restrooms lol

There was a giant swarm of locust and all the ones that got run over were being eaten by the ones still alive. All in all pretty cool but if there’s a girl with you she will say it’s gross. Also the bathrooms were overflowing with locust

4 CELL BARS~! Unbelievable that you would get such good mobile coverage in the middle of nowhere. The two bathrooms are deep holes in the ground, but it serves its purpose without a smell and a peculiarly pleasant breeze. The mountains are nice to look at as well.

This is a very basic rest stop. It's really just a large parking lot with two covered picnic tables in the middle of a large blacktop area. The are two pit toilets, which were well maintained and clean during my visit.

Not sure how often they pump the Vault toilets but every time I go there they are never empty. Toilet paper might be missing. I go through this rest stop quite often. It's your standard rest stop. Nothing spectacular. They have some nice picnic tables there that are covered for shade. There is a service station with a mini mart in it a mile down the road in orovada. Never been inside it. Price of gas is high. 2 Vault toilets. No running water

This is a regular stop on my travels between my home in Eastern Oregon and California. The bathrooms are "hit and miss" for cleanliness but the parking area is wide and bathrooms are quite a distance from the highway so if you're traveling with a animal and they need to pee there's less chance of them running toward the danger of the highway.

This rest stop had the most amazing views of our whole trip. Bathrooms werent much but it worked. We stayed ak extra few minutes for the views of snow capped mountains. Dont get views like that in Texas.

How do I grade this? Depending on how bad you need to go! It’s the only rest stop on this long road. Next available bathroom isn’t till Jordan Valley if you are heading north . It’s beautiful. even without toilet paper, if you are desperate. It becomes a 5 Star then. It’s basically an outhouse set up like you see in the parks. I had to use Kleenex from the car. Not real clean. But don’t pass it by if you are a frequent pee-er!

The location of this rest area is very convenient. The parking area is large and can accommodate space a lot of travelers. There are restrooms but I did not go in so not sure how clean.

We boondocked/camped here for a night. There is a dirt road just off the rest stop area. Go thru the gate in the fence on the north side of the parking lot, across a cattle guard. There is a bit of a dip on the other side of the cattle guard so you may want to check it out first. You can drive in about a mile and then there is another fence. That first mile is flat, hard packed dirt with a few bumps and rocks but we managed fine in our Ford Transit van. The road looked a little rougher on the other side of that second fence so we didn't go any further. There are sparse clumps of grass along the side of the road. There are no obvious established spots per se (no fire rings) but you can see where people have driven onto the grass so we picked a spot that was already trampled down. There are pit toilets at the rest stop. You could just stay at the rest stop but it was nice and quiet being off the highway and away from the trucks at the rest stop.

This rest stop has two vault toilets, no running water. It was clean when I visited. It was New Year's Day and none of the gas stations between here and Boise were open so it was a welcome sight.

Decent spot to camp out for a night. Definitely worth driving east from the rest area up the hill to get away from the highway.

As a driver, small lot. However if you want solitude and the wide open spaces, this is the place for. Basic amenities, chemical toilets etc.

No accessible water in the bathrooms. Plenty of parking and even benches. View is great and there seems to be some boondocking area right next to it.

Pretty small and restrooms are mediocre but it's a godsend if you need to pull off and park in the wild country of northern Nevada!
