Met with immediate defensiveness over basic grooming needs. Seems to always have a reason why they cannot complete a very basic need for grooming. Never been told my dog was crying during a hair cut prior to today, and she couldn’t wait to leave the building which is entirely unlike her. Definitely not worth your time or money.

My sweet Athena girl. Belgian shepherd and she loves Petco grooming. She loves the air dryer. They treat her with respect and treat her well. Always trimmed well smells great and she comes out with a big happy barking and more barking.

Anna-Belle is so awesome with our Vader. He gets anxious initially & she sets him at ease. All of the pet stylists are amazing! We have a Petco closer to home but we’ll always take that little longer drive to go to this Petco. Vader loves it & we know he’s always in good hands.

SarahRose is terrific with my two Pomeranians. Both of my dogs are very spoiled, and it's important to me that their groomer understands their temperaments and is kind and gentle with them. She knows their personalities, and they are very comfortable with her. Not to mention, she does an excellent job de-shedding their thick undercoats. They always come home looking so well-groomed. SarahRose is a jewel, and my pups love her, too!

DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER!!!I took my Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles & Poodle) puppy to Petco for grooming last Thursday. Upon arrival, I met with who was my assigned groomer. I made a specific Liz point of clearly stating that I definately didn't want the hair on her muzzle and those pieces of white fur that grow in front of her eyes touched as this feature is specific to the breed which makes them look like teddy bears. She grabbed the hair I referenced in her hand as to indicate she understood my request as well as verbally saying she wouldn't touch the hair. About an hour later, she called to say that she needed to shave her body hair because upon washing her, mats close to the skin made this necessary. I consented but reintegrated that I wanted the hair on her face untouched. She again stated she understood. However when I arrived to pick up my dog, all the hair had been shaved off her face and body. I was devastated! When asked why she'd done what I expressly asked her NOT to do, she gave a non-answer and simply said she was sorry. But that's not all: the cut was so uneven I'm still re-trimming trying to fix this mess. The after photo was taken after I evened out her work. Needless to say, I won't be back. On a positive note: she did get a recommendation from their vet on site clinic for an anti flee medication and put the first dose on for me which I appreciated. I'm sure she's a nice person but I feel the level of professionalism from Petco in lacking. It's certainly convenient to have a one stop shop for pet care, but like Costco, the services should be top notch.

Been taking my dog to petco for years and now this location said they Wouldn’t groom my pet anymore. States she has kennel anxiety and told me to goto a vet to have it done. Vets don’t have any more “tools” for grooming other than sedation - which she does not need- to groom a pet. The part that is MOST annoying is this wasn’t discussed at her last visit. Won’t be shopping this location anymore.

My dogs grooming appointment was cancelled, on the spot, because he had some redness in his ears. The manager somehow, without ever saying a word to me, denied services to groom my dog. I’ve been a vetco member for years and have never had to deal with such terrible customer service and hospitality. My dog needed his ears cleaned, along with his grooming, but rather than help my dog, they send me away to figure something else out. I have appreciated your services up until now. I will be cancel my pets membership’s with your company and take my dog somewhere where he will be taken care of rather than refused service too.

I have a massive golden boy who’s still a puppy and they were so great with him. He’s a hyper guy and they handled him so well, he came out so beautiful and soft and smelling so fresh and clean.

Grooming dept has horrible customer service, they don’t greet you at all and make you feel like they’re doing you a favor by grooming your dog when it’s their job. Crusty “the manager” models these types of behaviors herself, very rude and disrespectful and looks very unprofessional. You can wear a work tshirt and still chose to look professional obviously she chooses not to. After I shared my concerns with her about her staff and herself, instead of apologizing and taking feedback into consideration she went ahead and continue to be her nasty self with that ugly attitude. Petco needs to hire better managers to model the right behaviors when it comes to customer experience. Maybe some recurring training would be beneficial for someone like this “manager” Cristy.

Grooming is awful at this location. All they do is to shave your dogs for an easy and faster job . Ashley shaved off all the hair on my Yorkie. 😢😭. He looks awful. As well as my Schnauzer completely bad haircut. Never using their service again.

We paid a lot for my dogs eyes to not even be cleaned. On top of her not being brushed right either when we paid extra for shed release. Tried calling yesterday to speak with a manager & got hung up on! Will not be going back to this location.

Pleased with our experience! I really appreciate the attention and care the groomer paid to what my pup has been going through. She asked lots of questions and I think it made the difference in supporting my decision to shave him down. I'm glad we did! Found some skin issues that need to be addressed. And my pup came back to me happy as a clam, so that's always a great thing! We'll be back

I usually take my Dog to another groomer but they were booked solid for 2 weeks. I decided to give petco a try because they were able to get my Dog in the next day. I must say I was not expecting for my Dog to come out looking as good as she did. Petco groomers did a fabulous job and it was half the price I pay my other groomer. I from now on plan on using Petco groomers. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.

Everyone was friendly my pet got a great haircut and came home happy. We were previously using another groomer and every time he would come home from the groomer he appeared traumatized and the haircut wasn't that good. We will definitely keep coming.

Go see Madison! I took my Rottweiler and Doberman in to get groomed, and Madison was fantastic :). She pampered my babies and did an awesome job, it was like they went to the spa. Very happy with the service and will be back to see her.

We've been taking our four dogs here for a few years now. All the groomers are very friendly, caring and patient. Madison especially takes great care of Happy, Rocco, Mei Mei and Buddy (The Beige Brigade).

Kennedy did am excellent job with our 2 girls. Staff is very personable, very gentle with our dogs, made sure the dogs felt welcomed and safe, spent a little bit of time talking to them, petting them and reassuring them they were safe before bringing them back.

Ashley did a awesome job on my big shaggy Maggie Mae. Every detail was exactly how I wished. I felt that Ashley took excellent care of Maggie. Because when I picked Maggie Mae up the wagging tail & calm happy attitude showed.

We took our puppy in for his first hair trim yesterday. Although we made an appointment, when we arrived on time, the place was busy and it looked like all of the groomers were taken. We actually had to interrupt a groomer to check in our pup, and after taking our names/number, she asked what services we were looking to get. Maybe this was just a double confirmation, but it seemed like our appointment didn't matter. We arrived at 1:30 & were told he would be done NO LATER than 5:30. By the time 5:30 came around, we still hadn't received a phone call, and after being on hold for 5 minutes they told us it would be another half hour or so before he would be ready. We headed to PetCo, and after some time without getting a phone call, my husband went in and apparently he was ready for pickup. The haircut was okay, nothing special, given we only needed a trim. We've been to PetCos in the past with no issue, and we are very disappointed in the lack of communication and disregard of our appointment from this visit and this PetCo. We will not be coming back.
