5 star service! I went into this local pet store, I was looking for someplace not so commercial and found healthy tails! I was looking for a new kibble to feed my pup who just had 18 teeth pulled. I was so lucky to meet Nicole who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very kind. We discussed several options for my little guy and when we couldn’t decide on one, she did what I didn’t think Anyone did anymore she gave me samples. Nicole told me that the owners don’t believe in people wasting their money, that’s fantastic. I don’t like to waste my money. Which ever food My little guy chooses it is definitely coming from Healthy Tails. Great customer service, the prices were right and they believe in customer satisfaction, the dream pet store!

I love this place! Every staff member goes above and beyond to help with your fur babies. Amber took the time to review their allergy tests and find foods that were compatible with their bodies. They also have awesome winter clothes and holistic options. Thank you guys so much!

We take our dogs almost every week and we all thoroughly enjoy going shopping at Healthy Tails. Everyone there is cheerful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I got thoroughly enjoy browsing and checking out all the latest goodies!

We found Healthy Tails because we were looking for Primal dog food for our 2 yorkies. We just moved here from Florida and needed to find the food they like and are used to. I was greeted warmly immediately upon walking in and was enthusiastically led to the Primal dog food. The team was very knowledgeable. I was also happy to see that they have Stella & Chewy’s Raw Kibble (our dogs’ go-to dry food)The team also have cool tie-dyed “paw” shirts for their uniform. Highly recommend

I'm so upset about today's interaction with John, one of the owners! I have been a loyal customer for 13 years, the lifetime of my dog, Sophia. I have spent over $200/month for 13 years! Do the math. I always found Mike to be very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff are great. My complaint is with John. On two occasions he has given me a very hard time about unopened food returns, which the store boasts a no nonsense return policy. John nitpicks through my past purchases and refuses to honor a return. Two times this has happened to me. I will not spend another penny there!! I'm so angry!! Goodbye Healthy Tails!

They gave me samples to determine which foods were preferred by my dogs and caused the least reactions. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Top notch personal service. Great selection. If your dog needs it, they have it.

Great selection and prices. I get Weruva cat food from here for my furry babies. This store is great for pet food brands that are often not available at the local chain stores, and it appears to be a small business, though you'd have to ask the employees to verify. I also wanted to comment on a negative review that was left. I'm not white either, and no one has given me the "cold shoulder." Sometimes employees forget to greet customers because they're busy. They SHOULD, but we all fall short at times. It doesn't automatically mean they hate you. Anyway, this store is great, and I will keep coming back.

They are all kind, gracious, loving, smiling and just outstanding!A long time ago I went there to check it out and support our local mom & pop shop, and I never shop anywhere else for my dog since. Everyone in the store is kind and so helpful. I go there to get raw food and chicken broth for dogs - and then inevitably I buy bones and other chew toys. They are will stocked with only really good things for your dog!

I have only been in the store a couple times so far but the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My dog is allergic to pretty much everything, but they carry a large selection of treats he can actually eat and they carry the special food he has to have. They also helped me find healthily food choices for my cats. They've definitely impressed me, I will be continuing to come back for all my pet food/treats needs.

Base off the reviews I was very excited to patron this store for the 1st time. I like to make sure I'm giving my pup the most natural treats, since I home make his actual food. I walked in and a couple was being serviced at the register, the employee seemed very nice "to them". Once that couple left I was the only customer in the store. The employee seems force to say hello to me, didn't ask if I needed assistance, just not very welcoming what so ever. A 2nd employee came out, and nothing was said at all from her. I did find two items I was interested in purchasing. But something just didn't feel right. I am a person of color, and I want to refuse to believe that was the reason I was given the "cold shoulder". Nerve the less, I politely put the items back in their original places and exited the store. I got back in my car, and all of a sudden saw the 2nd employee exit the store as if she was looking for me. My first thought was, did she think I stole something, or is she looking to apologize for not approaching me with better customer service. I wanted to get out and confront her, but I opted out of causing a scene. I ended up going to the original pet supply store I normally go to, and the feeling was like night and day. I was greeted at the door, and felt very welcome. I just told myself Healthy tails, will never get my business ever.

I’m obsessed with this place. I’ve recommended my friends/coworkers, I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff is beyond amazing and they really care about what your fur baby eats! Everything they sell is healthy for your babies!! I moved here from the east coast about 5 months ago and the owners/staff have helped me sooo much with picking out food that fits my dogs and while considering my budget! The owners/staff greet me by name when I come in now and it’s so refreshing. They go above and beyond. I wish everyone treated their business like these lovely people.

This is what you get when you have knowledgeable and passionate employees and owners that care about their products and services. Is it slightly more than a large retailer? Maybe. Although we find their prices reasonable and are happy to support because every trip feels like we are being catered to, a custom shopping experience where we are asked questions about our pet and given advice. So friendly and a true gem in LV!

Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful in finding the correct dog food and snacks for your furry friend. You get a discount when you buy a dozen canned foods. I like that I can choose different flavors and brands to make up that dozen, instead of having to buy a case of the same flavor. If there is a recalled product, they personally notify you since they have your info. and know that you purchased the product. They carry heavy items to your car for you. Really great customer service. A+ business.

I'm all about taking care of local retailers. I've been visiting Healthy Tails for the past 9 years. The store is clean and staff are always friendly. Unfortunately two days ago when I was visiting the store to claim my frequent buyer program for Orijen, I was told the manufacturer no longer offers the buy 12 get one free. To verify, I called the manufacturer, Champion Petfood and they ensured me that Happy Tails is their contracted retail shop in LV and they participate the frequent buyer program. I am very disappointed that the business owners were not forthright about honoring this program.

Happy I found you. Great quality choices in dog treats and food. Almost thought about minus a star fir the manager who was preoccupied and not real attentive, but maybe the phone call was more important. So just five stars for your store and maybe a talk with your people.

This is the only place i go for my dog food. The staff is extremely knowlegable and super friendly. They often have samples for my dogs to try and they are nice enough to give me 2, one for each of my dogs. They have an excellent selection of healthy dog treats and dried animal parts like duck necks and chicken feet. It sounds gross but dogs love them. Their prices are also comparable to online retailers.
