I came to do grocery shopping after dropping off the kids I had to use the rest room. I told a young women good morning. Do you bathroom I may use rudely goes no supposedly not in service. I would have rather her said no no public rest room how are you going to say there no bathroom in a store with all those employees.. I get it some people destroy the bathrooms and that's not good . I can you one thing I'm never coming hear agine I didn't even do my grocery shopping there or ever agine.

Absolutely a business. The line is backed up and the manager is playing. Knock knock, who's there with an employee. Trying to get a cash drawer in order to open a register and stands there staring at an entire crowd of customers. Thinking it's funny when we just want to go home with our belongings. Regardless, there has never been any decent customer service in the store. And people should stop going there soon.

What a scamming place this is! They mark the prices each not per pound. I had to pay more than $4 for 8 or 9 pieces of bananas. Very misleading. The cashier also just left his position and went to another spot for more than a few minutes while we were all just waiting for nothing.

BEST place to buy greeting cards. HUGE selection. I hate spending 5.99 for a greeting card. But I don't mind spending $1. This store has EVERYTHING !!

Had a great shopping experience. Staff was friendly and the cute cashier at register 5 got my items checked and bagged on the quicks 😎 she also knows her company well, she pointed out how the surgery glasses I had were from Dollar General even tho I copped them in a whole other state! Def going to do more shopping here!

This place is really nice it has everything that you can think of. The only problem is that they need more cashiers because the line gets way too long for just one cashier for the whole store. it will almost take about 10 minutes before you can check out with so many people in one line. I think that's the only thing that is really holding this Dollar General market back from being a five-star place.

I shop at this dollar general because the employees are getting better and the managers are helpful. What makes it bad are the thief's. But they try. Well anyway, the prices are great and the manager Andrew is always great. He always helpful. When something need done. Others call him.

Great place.. I find things I can't find at any other dollar general. Just feel so bad for how many times this store gets robbed at gun point. I have been there 2 times when getting robbed. I see why the employees are always on guard about who comes to the store. Also there are few manager that always helps me out. I believe the short Mexican or native looking guy is great. He always looks like he knows what he is doing. Also the Mexican lady.

This place sucks. You get what you paid for. There are some things worth getting for the price and most of the staff are nice. The DM should be fired. The old managers were awesome. Helping others and very knowledgeable. 3 stars because i dont see any of the stupid managers often.

This store is horrible. One cashier checking people out and line gets too big so fast. They had what i needed for a reasonable price but some things are just too over board. I only go here to by TP and my kids creative products. Carol is the only employe that seems so welcome and the tall white dude with long hair seem like they know what they are doing. . 👌

I enjoy coming here. Less crowded than the other stores especially during this time. I always find what I need and I use the app for even more discounts. The only inconvenience is there are limited workers so checking out can take longer than anticipated.

So glad that there's a dollar general in caliente. It makes getting supplies so much easier when I am staying in this remote location. It also makes my pocket book not so empty. Things like laundry soap,toilet paper,trash bags are available at great prices. This really reduces the need to bring so many things with you from out of town.

The only thing that I enjoyed at this Dollar General was the staff. The staff was ever so friendly. The store itself needs to take about 72 hours and CLEAN. It's always unkept and not just the common things such as floor, registers, etc.. The carts are filthy, the walls and shelves are so dirty that your washing everything you buy after your home. It just really needs a lot of work and would probably get more positive comments. Also get rid of the bums that hang outside begging for money to go down the street to the nearest bar. WOMEN NEVER GO ALONE ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.

Very clean market. Organized. Went for a job fair. The only prospect in store! Directed to storage room by a very rude cashier. Once in greeted by gentleman at desk, very kind had me fill out paper w/ my name, address & how I heard about JOB Fair. He then lead me up a flight of stairs where 6 various managers were talking. I was introduced to a manager that was NOT hiring for her store, would NOT SHAKE MY HAND, OR TAKE MY RESUME! She asked me 2 questions. Previous employment & what type of position I was looking for.), But she wasn't hiring for her store anyway, she then passed me off to another manager who wrote down her store # and said apply on line applications is all they accept! Why the hell have a job fair posted if you are telling people - the only person to show up to apply! Go back home & apply on lineThe 6 managers THERE, only 2 spoke to me! And the one had no openings? Why was she THERE?! Why even have a job fair?Upon leaving from upstairs the gentlemen that directed me to upstairs area was on his phone but at least looked up to say thanks for coming!May be a lovely place to shop - but I will never spend $1 in this market. The whole experience was waste of time. And the faux job fair was so managers could get together and talk. Cause their hiring is done on line! Went online and the store # the one manager gave me - did NOT EXSISITE?!Not one store listed in Las Vegas, NEVADA.All over USA! But not the on line listing!

This is a market store and has food. The store was stocked up nicely. Not like other ones that have boxes and product scattered everywhere. Employees were pretty helpful but not ringing people up. There was one big line and it took 20 minutes to check out.

Really good little store with just about everything you need if you don't want to deal with the crowded grocery store. They have amazing deals on produce. They have clothing and some shoes. Not a huge selection of certain things like Meats but I don't buy a ton of me anyway so I don't care.

Easy store to get what you need like groceries, snack's, towels, even quartz of oil for ur car. Decent prices aswell. The only thing they don't have a bigger selection of meats at all. The other thing that sucks is sometimes they only have 1 cashier and they get backed up alot til someone gets to helping. Other than that it would of been full 🌟

Do not go here unless you are white. I was wandering around the store looking for an associate to ask if they could help find an item. I found 3 associates at the front of the store all gathered and conversing together, so I approached them and said "excuse me, i need some help," to which NONE OF THE 3 EMPLOYEES EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED ME!!! They continued carrying on their conversation like i wasn't even there. I said excuse me 3 times after , and was still ignored.... Clearly they don't need my money, so i dropped all my items and left the store. The 3 associates, 2 male and 1 female, were all white.... I wonder if they would have noticed me if i was white as well.Never shopping here again.

I liked it because it's not Walmart hardly any creepers there it's convenient .most of the time the cashiers are friendly and there's a lot more food that's fresh and your ability to purchase all your groceries plus other needed items it's like a small Walmart

Small grocery store. Prices seem to be higer than most places. Great customer service,although no sense of urgency is seen most times. Only thing that seems to bother me is leaving my bag/backpack in the front. Last time I left my bag, It was left unattended while the cashier was on break, very close to anyone's reach. The other register that was open while 1st was closed, had a blind spot and where you can not see the store entrance(where the 1st cashier is also and where my backpack was left) .If we are asked to leave our personal items at the front because of worry. Please respect our belongings and pay more attention and be more secure as we worry about others stealing our belongings as well.

The gm Sabrina is very rude, everytime i go in there she never greets anyone and the 1 time i asked for assistance she was very dry and had a horrible, horrible attitude because i was taking time away from what she was doing. First time i saw her she stalked me thru every isle like i was going to steal. So i went into my purse and pulled my wallet out, i asked if she wanted to hold it till i checked out and purposely flashed a $100 bill. Very rude im not going back to that location. STOP FOLLOWING ME

This place wrongly accused me of being caught stealing there & 86'd me. I contacted corporate, made a report. Was called back by an investigator that told me the GM would contact me for an apology later. NO one Ever got back to me to apologize. But they did change a lot of employees in the store. Bad business establishment!

I went to the Dollar General Market on N Nellis and E Sahara before closing time last summer in 2020 and they would not let me in and I only need to grab silverware. They changed the hours to 9pm because of the CV19. They would not let me in. I can understand 10 or 5 minutes before closing. I got there at 840 pm. It hard to go shopping as it is. Certain employees rather lose a sale to go home early. It was a young black woman with braids. That is bad for business.

Don't bother wasting your time shopping here, when you compare their prices with Walmart you will find out that Walmart is actually cheaper. I thought this was supposed to be a discount store, but I guess it's hard to beat Walmart. I e Crest toothpaste $2 here $1.67 at Walmart same size package

Dollar general market on nellis and Sahara has lots of good items at very fair prices and they even have food items and fresh vegetables. I would recommend Dollar general market for ease at shopping, the cashiers are very very friendly and will help you find any item that you need to find.

I had the worst experience of racial discrimination I've ever had in my life at this dollar general market! Nevada is a open carry state! and the laws clear stat, if there is no clear are visual signs that say you cant open carry than that establishment allows you to do so. But on this night of 9/28/2016 two of the employees decided I was a big black scary man. As I walk into the store I get a basket and began my shopping for my kids it took me about 20 min to complete my shopping. As a go to the check out counter a white male approximately 48 years of age approach me and say " you are not allowed to carry a weapon in this store, only law enforcement and security guards can bring a weapon into this store". I reply with " Nevada state law says if there is no clear are visual signs that say I can't carry a weapon than I can carry a weapon , are you the manager? No I am not the manager but I speak for him. Well please get me the manager you have no right to tell me I can't express my 2nd amendment right to open carry. When the manager arrive he's a Mexican male about 28 to 30 years of age and he began with " do you have a permit for your weapon I reply "Nevada state law says you do not have to have a permit to open carry just a Nevada ID card and be able to carry legally". Here's my Nevada drivers license, the manager says ok that's fine but the employee would not let it go he stood there and told the cashier to not ring me up. I ask the cashier why won't you ring me up and she stated "I will not open my cash register because I'm afraid of you mind you I'm handing her $100 dollar bill. I look back toward the manager and ask, are you afraid of me and said no you weapon is holstered I'll check you out. The 2 employees only seen a black male with a exposed weapon. Someone that plans on robbing a store will not show there weapon criminals don't open carry. I'm a husband and a father of 3 kids, I'm a electrician who makes over 100,000 a year but all they seen way my black skin. Please don't support this store!!!!

The DGM @ Sahara & Nellis is always clean and pleasant to shop in. Prices are pretty comparable if you're a good shopper, but,they're always having problems with the registers and receipts.
