I’ve been to many casinos over the years but Cactus Pete’s has always being one of my favorites. Their rooms are always presented in a way that is comfortable and clean plus have all the necessary amenities. They having cocktail waitresses providing complementary drinks on a rotation of 15-20 minutes whether you sports bet, play slots, video poker or table games: including single-deck 3-2 Blackjack. Plus, food is excellent and versatile. In all the years I’ve been coming here, I’ve never been disappointed. Also want to shout out Mike Mendez for always making sure I have a comfortable stay.

Well……… Cactus Pete’s has definitely lost its cozy feel. Has the run down lack of management vibe. Our room had several item that were broken. The jetted tub, while it technically worked wasn’t adjustable, used to be. Just on and off now. The mixer valve for the shower was totally smoked. The room had definitely been ridden hard, put away wet! No more room service, which is a complete bummer! All of this and no microwave makes it hard to feel good about upgrading to a suite. Also the Horseshoe across the street is closed? Poncho Villa Mexican restaurant is gone! Replaced by a general store! Which is actually decent. Jackpot is definitely different after Covid.

Went to see Great White in concert!Didn't know that it was not great white, but the ex singer for great white using the name.The booking agent for the casino should be ashamed not disclosing that they were old and really bad but still charging us prime ticket prices. I spent $240 and fuel for a room and tickets for two to see this.Not impressed.Be careful what you book here in the future. We spent a pile of money gambling instead of having a good concert and food with gambling.My wife's birthday was saved by leaving and going home.

Love this place. Craps table on a Friday and sat night is always got action going. Sometimes hard to get on the table. They need some more TOP DOLLAR MACHINES IN THE HIGH ROLLER ROOM LOL. . Would also love if they brought back the poker room. The restaurants have good meals and prices are decent. Always have fun coming here.

Cactus Pete's is in Jackpot NV. This is the largest of the few resorts here. They have lots of slots and table games. The restaurant was moderately priced with a wide selection of entrees. The entrees were tasty and well prepared. Their hotel room I was in was pleasantly decorated, large and clean. The pool and surrounding area was attractive and compelling on a hot day as it was this August of 2023. The town has a golf course, which if you like golf and you're going to be staying a few days, you can enjoy 18 holes there.

My wife and I decided to take a short trip to Jackpot over Thanksgiving and stayed at Cactus Petes. It was just the 2 of us for 2 nights so we rented a jacuzzi suite on the top floor which was really nice and very decently priced. For 2 people, we had a ton of room, including a separated tv/couch/lounge area and a bar area with a refrigerator, sink, and seating. Oh, and there were 2 separate bathrooms, very cool. The decor was a little dated but it was very clean and everything seemed to work just fine.Neither of us had been to that resort in ~15 years and were pleasantly surprised at the amenities. Like most casinos, there's almost every type of game you can imagine: table games, video card games, slots (old and new), and even interactive games on big screens where multiple players can participate.We ate several meals at the Desert Room restaurant on-site which were all incredible, highly recommended. We had a Thanksgiving dinner reservation at 36 Steak & Seafood, another on-site restaurant. It was easy to make the reservation online for the time we wanted and it was well worth it. Spendy, but some of the best steaks we've ever had, seriously...wow.There's free EV charging available which was great (download the EVGateway app). Lots of other amenities we never had time to get to but I was more than happy with the resort. The free wifi worked fantastic and the service from all the staff we encountered was very good.We will definitely be returning soon!

rooms a getting a little dated and worn down. no smoke smell which is great. Has a pool which is nice in the summer. Slots are pretty good, we usually walk out with more than what we came with. Join the PENN club, we did and they normally give out promotional items, we came once and they gave 250$ in free slot play which ended up making us over $1K in winnings !! so way way worth it. ALSO they have a military/active/retired benifit for rooms and slot play if you are in the PENN club...SO JOIN !!

We got a King Jacuzzi Suite that was great, especially considering the low cost of it. Cactus Petes takes care of it customers, unlike the hotel/casinos in Bendover, NV! It most certainly worth the longer drive from SLC, UT for the price, comfort and more relaxed atmosphere! Cactus Petes could teach most there places "how to do it right! ". No complaints! Ok, it is a bit farther away but worth every mile!Rooms: We got one of the Tower 10th floor jacuzzi suites and LOVED IT! The affordability index is off the charts and can not be beaten anywhere else that I know of. Simply a fantastic place to stay, eat and gamble. Our suite had 3 TVs, an entryway, a full 12 foot wet bar, a living room area, bedroom area, bar area and TWO bathrooms, his and hers! Very quiet, comfortable and surprisingly AFFORDABLE!I WILL BE BACK..... SOON! ;-)Walkability: Unlike most Bendover, NV places Cactus Petes is smaller and much easier to get around in, more comfortable and certainly more affordable. Jackpot NV beats Wendover NV hands down on everything! Try it, you'll like it!

The cheers of casinos. The staff here really do make you feel at home. Very friendly and attentive service. I honestly can not say good enough things about this place. It is out in the boonies but worth a weekend gateway for sure.

We stop in here for a few days every spring and fall on our trip south and north in our motorhome, I don't think most people know there is a second camping area out back with the same pull through sites and no road noise.We enjoy the game and the food selection here and the employees are always friendly and courteous.

We’ve been going there for 20+ years usually 4-5 times a year. Always have been eligible for comped room in the Granite Range. But just booked our next trip and have been told we’re only eligible for the tower or horseshu. Based off our win/loss statements we certainly have not reduced the amount of money we spend. Disappointed long term loyal customers.

Very nice casino. They give great playing points get a lot of free rooms. Pet friendly. Has all the table game and a good variety of slots. We use to go to Winnemucca a lot now just here.

Stopped here for a night on my way to Yellowstone from California. Hotel stay is opposite to the casino and the signal , checkin in the casino and then drive to the hotel . The hotel has two buildings Antelope and Buffalo near the Horsehshoe casino, parking is free . Good stop to recharge yourself on the journey to Yellowstone. Prices were minimal for a night stay, had no complains, the place was quiet and comfortable.

Quick stop in for some local souvenirs, looked like a nice casino. Didn't gamble. Nice area, very scenic. The lady in the gift shop was pleasant and helpful.

Been coming to Cactus Petes for years since living in Idaho. But I have never Stayed here until now on Christmas Eve as a local from Boise , Idaho. They upgraded me from the Horeshu to a tower suite and the lady at the front desk was very accommodating for that request. The suite is very nice and clean, non- smoking room. Casino is very fun place to play slots, buy gifts and of course eat some food! They have 2 good restaurants to eat. Don’t forget to sign up for your players choice card as well. Dog friendly casino/ hotel makes it a plus! I will definitely be staying here again when I come back. They have concerts and stand up comedian shows for entertainment as well. Summertime they have a golf course and a pool to swim. Nice quick getaway from Idaho or a good spot to rest.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is ok. The motel itself is showing it age. It hasn't been updated in a very long time. Our room could of been cleaner. Behind our bathroom door, it hasn't been wiped down in a very long time. If ever. Dirty carpets.But your choice in Jackpot is very limited.

Our favorite place to go for a date night. Disappointed they no longer have the buffet. Complimentary drinks while your gambling. Nice pool in the summer time. Granite spa suite is awesome!

It's actually a good place to stay. We have a dog, so we have to stay at horseshoe, not at the main hotel. As for gambling, machines are so tight. The food used to be good, not so much anymore .it has also gotten a little spendy

The slots were fun. The employee the girl that brings your drinks the cocktail waitress is what you would call them back in my day. I asked her if I could have a Dr pepper she laughed in my face and told me that I could only have a Dr pepper at the self-serve service station. Completely blew me off. So the next time she came around and I was actually winning on the slots pretty good she tried with the fake smile to be friendly and I told her that I would just continue to self-serve myself. The girl that came on later on that day was absolutely great the cocktail waitress she was super friendly super super friendly which made that worth staying there. The games were fun but like I said the first cocktail waitress just completely turned me off of this place 100% or I would have stayed. I wanted to tell her honey you make your money with the tips not just be friendly because someone's winning. 🙄🤷 I chose to stay at the cheaper hotel due to the fact of this cocktail waitresses attitude. I would have paid more money to stay there had she not been so extremely rude. Your employees are the face to your business put a smile on honey That's how you earn your money.

The room was bug infested, and I've stayed a lot. I'm not sure what's happening there, but.... will be staying soon again, I'll update after! I've been staying more often. The status of the tier you are on may play a role. My bf seems to get more attention by far than I do even though we're both Elite. 🤷‍♀️

This is my absolutely favorite casino. Super helpful staff. Betsy was great. She reset my card, told me about my COMPS which included 2 free nights...we stayed1 of the 2. My favorite game is PROGRESSIVE VIDEO POKER and I always manage to either take a few bucks home or make enough to cover my expanses. I think CACTUS PETE'S is one of the best casinos Nevada has to offer. Don't expect it to be the Ritz Carlton but the rooms are very nice and the food here is delicious. CACTUS PETE'S is a well managed and fun venue. I especially love the MY HEROES program for VETERANS.

STACY IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I always stay at Cactus Pete's! It's my go vacation of choices all sumer long. Usually booking is easy for me, this time I was booking a Bachelorette party for a bride with "Specific Requests". These requests involve me needed to know room size, layout, floor plan, hours of direct sunshine and moonshine ugh! STACY was SO PATIENT! She either answered all my needy questions or found the best answer for me. She prioritized my situation and made me feel understood and comfortable!!! Breath of fresh air.

It was a tip we were really looking forward too. and it was terrible we regret going and wish we could take it back. We lost more money on this trip than we ever have at any other casinos, We had a very difficult time getting cocktails, We also had a bad experience in the desert room restaurant we waited 45 min to get our order in. it was not busy and on a weekday the food and service was terrible we heard a lot of people complain while we were there. The room was nice but "EVERYTHING" else was terrible we were hoping Penn play would be a good place for us to start using. It was not!!! Do yourself a favor go anywhere else save your sanity.

This place is amazing! The casino is fun and lively, on par with Las Vegas. The food is delicious (I recommend 36 Steak and Seafood - the Chef does both very well). Finally, the room's are comfortable and well maintained.
