Said he would check and told me not on shelf and customer service had to order. Transferred to customer service and phone went blank. WoW

This smiths is HUGE. It's always in stock and much more selection than my local one in Gardnerville! They even have a legit sushi bar which was wonderful for lunch. Never got sick. Fair prices. Clean store and friendly helpful staff! If it weren't so far I'd always get my groceries here!

I had a pickup order, was missing all of my refrigerator stuff when I arrived home. Called and after 18 min of hold was hung up on. Then called corporate 30 min later noteven sure if I'm getting a refund for my stuff. Definitely switching to instacart through any other store. At least they take care of their mistakes!

I always do pickup. Everyone there has been something wrong. Expired bread, two rotten pineapples, 1 rotten onion, forgot my garlic bread. The list goes on! I am in disbelief that there is no quality check.

Manager is very combative and argumentative. Last time shopping here. And watch out because there employee's can care less where there going with there carts.People that work there are always angry. Very sad state of affairs there.

It’s the luck of the draw; at customer service. We had to return a package of (fresh corn) in simple words it was garbage not edible. The young lady at C.Serv. Was rude and had a bad attitude,This employee is a candidate for politeness training. A poor choice when she was hired. When we go shopping we return home and we do not expect to return food, their for we discard our receipt.This was my greeting from the clerk. Ware is your receipt, if you do not have a receipt I can’t give you a refund. The manager stepped in and our money refunded.

The store itself is fine. Good selection, great deals and discounts on fuel. Only 3 stars because whoever plows their parking lot doesn't cinder or throw down rock salt. The entire parking lot is an ice rink. They need to do something or someone is going to get seriously hurt

Something needs to be done at this store, I have had so many rude encounters at this place from the employee's to the management JESSICA, LIZ AND CHRIS. The deli section is the absolute worst ESPECIALLY CICI AND ERICA. My elderly mother had her deli meat thrown at her when they were done with it. Always wrong prices at check out with no help from the employee's but their rudeness. Last night was the last straw though. My Mother, Husband and myself were next to the deli where they sell the hot items and we were inquiring about the burritos that are not labeled with what is inside them, So we asked and they couldn't be bothered to answer our questions. I mentioned to my husband how can you sell something and not know what you are selling. The lady behind the counter made her away around the counter to yell at me and tell me she does not make the food there for she wouldn't know what's in it. When did asking questions about what you are buying become a crime. I mean yelling at us in the store with people around completely embarrassing to say the least. Always check dates on the food you are buying, As their items have been months old!! Disgusting!! I will not go back to this store, I will go out of my way and go to Carson where I have never had an issue. I have never been treated so poorly like I have at this horrible run down store. With all the reviews stating the same thing you would think they would try and fix the situation but obviously not. Avoid this place especially the deli!!!

This Smiths needs a lot of work in customer service...DO NOT CALL....IF YOU want to say anything...They hang up on you...WOWShop elsewhere if it's your option...If not...PLEASE PLEASE report all scenarios....Maybe then... we can have a voice.But when they truly are the only store ????I'll drive farther or shop Grocery Outlet before Smiths...God Bless

If I could give a negative star rating, I would.Terrible store all around. Mother's day weekend on a Saturday had 1 checker and half of the self check stalls closed!!! Huge lines all the time. Don't even try to get a prescription filled unkess tou have an hour! Stockers do not pay attention. Make sure you check the exliration dates on most items. Today 6 bkxes of gnocci were dated as far back as March 2023!Avoid this store if you can. Don"t support their lack of care and lack of service.

Convenient and gas points but expensive. During the pandemic, service here went to "you know". I come here regularly and have noticed that the quality of service has improved dramatically and is returning to how it was before the pandemic. Don't think it will go back to 24/7 and it is still expensive without rewards card and coupons. Gas rewards always a plus too. Today 7/9/22 they messed up my pickup order and we had to spend time figuring it out and I still got shorted products cuz I wasn't paying proper attention so that's on me. Still, they messed up so pay attention. 9/30/22, Their pickup service has gone to hell. The last two times I used the service, fragile products were damaged because they were put in with heavy products. They also shorted my order but that's on me for not checking. No more trusting Smith's for good service.

In my opinion, the Customer Service Manager and Lead Night Managers are not managerial material.(**Correct names to come, I dont want to mislabel any other employee. From what I've experienced, every other employee who I have had the delight of meeting has been amazing.**)But to have these two lazy "Managers," who would rather lie than do their job. First, the Customer Service "Manager." refused to acknowledge her own protocol. She then brings in the Lead Night "Manager" to attempt to back her in their disregard for company policy. She then tells me that they are not a part of the Kroger Family **(LIES!)** and tells me she doesn't know a number to a superior or Corporate office. Complete bull💩.See, I have been coming to Smith's for as long as I can remember. Well into my adulthood, almost 30 years as part of the Kroger Family. Not once, have I ever: felt this type of disrespect from any employee (especially a "manager,") watched this type, or anything even remotely close happen to another customer, nor heard of such a thing.Until these issues are resolved, I couldn't imagine giving any higher than a ⭐ rating.4.5/5 ⭐ apart from this.

Terrible experience I felt discriminated! That lady at the deli session was not kind at all and very unpleasant. I am a big spender and I don't think I'll ever come back to the store. The manager didn't seem to care either. If you are a foreigner I will not recommend you shopping here.

This is one of my favourite Smith's locations and also, in my opinion, one of the best stores in all of the Kroger family chains. The employees here are friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well organised and the parking is convenient.This store often has really great deals on meat and other things, including non-food items. They have a rewards club that can save you loads on gas and coupons that can be used to cut back the cost of your groceries. I have never had a bad experience here.The often have case lot sales here and you can stock up on things that you use frequently and save money in the process. They are good about returning the shopping carts and usually have disabled carts that are charged and ready to go. The store is also next to other shopping locations, so you can get a lot done in the same parking lot.One of the best grocery places out there.

My favorite grocery store to shop at which is convenient since they're the only grocery store in Dayton. They are always friendly when I use coupons and if you need help finding an item the smiling associates will take you to the item instead of sending you on a wild goose chase.**UPDATE** I placed my first pickup order yesterday. I had so much fun on the app picking out my items. My husband picked up yesterday, April 1, 2023 at 5:42pm and the worker was very kind and on the ball. Whoever did our shopping took my requests seriously (substitutions and other notes). I was skeptical and hadn’t done a pickup order until yesterday for the sole reason of someone else picking out my produce. Well, I couldn’t have done better myself! Super job, thank you!**

Some of these reviews have got to be fake! That store is not clean. It is a mad house every time I go. They never have enough checkers. The bathroom is filthy and in disrepair. The store is so greedy so they dont pay enough to people in wages. When I ask about the mess and lack of employees I'm told that is a corporate problem and no one wants to work there. So obviously Smith's doesnt pay enough.They are without a doubt making money hand over fist but do not appreciate workers enough to pay a decent wage otherwise they would have enough people hired to make that a decent store. I am sorry every time I go there. Disgusting.
