Went to drop off our dog to have her nails trimmed. There were two members of a family already there waiting for their dog, but only we were told only one "Pet Parent" inside. The other family was not told one "Pet Parent" at a time. Needless to say, we left with our dog and will not return due to feeling we were discriminated against. If rules apply, then enforce them on everyone. We will now look for a local groomer and buy our pet supplies elsewhere.

Petco is a high quality pet store that has a huge selection of animals and the items needed to sustain them. Purchased a beautiful Syrian Hamster that is vibrant and healthy. A few dollars more than their competitor but worth it for the excellent customer service and 30 day health guarantee.

Because of the employees and variety of products. When I fell in front of the store the employees came out immediately to help me.They help me to retrieve all I had dropped and one young man just lifted me to my feet. He also showed concern by walking me to my car just to make sure I was okay. Petco can be proud of it's employees and the help they showed me on April 6th.

Just love Petco other than how much the price of a ferret has skyrocketed over the last few years. They have gone from somewhat affordable to outrageously expensive. We have a 6 and 5 year old ferret and just days ago unexpectedly lost our 4 year old ferret.

I had to notify the staff that their ferret enclosure was out of water. Staff members were bad mouthing other pet stores they had previously worked for quite loudly. Otherwise the store was clean and presentable.

I just found out that Petco is charging ten cents per shopping bag now; this is something you would expect if you were in California, not Nevada; poor decision on Petco's management, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere now.

I have had good experience from here in the past however I bought a ball python for my classroom here in late August, he never ate so I went back in and asked what I could do. I was advised to just keep offering it or try a different food. So I tried, he never ate. He ended up dying not too long after. Outside of the 30 day period. I called to talk to them they won’t do anything for me since it was outside the 30 days even though I had gone in and talked to them about him. I am disappointed because I wanted help within the 30 days was told not to worry, and now I can’t do anything about it…

We took our four year old Poodle Mix to get an one year Rabies Vaccine in November 2021. When we went to the cash register to pay we discovered that our dog was given an three year Vaccine instead. A month later our dog's immune system started attacking his red blood cells. He died two weeks later after extensive expensive treatments. Our regular vet explained that his illness and subsequent death COULD have been caused by his recent Vaccine.

Cashier was kind enough to page an employee to assist us in purchasing a parakeet. However, the female employee who assisted us should work on her customer service skills specifically how to answer questions more professionally and less negative attitude. We most likely will not return to Petco and will go to Pet Smart for future needs. At least the employee smile and answer questions without appearing to be bothered by their customers.

Have a large selection of everything and anything a pet needs. Employees were pretty nice. They also have good selection of a pet tag maker machine and lots of different tags, from tiny to big ones, different shapes and colors. Lots sales items too. For pretty much any animal, even exotic pets like birds, rabbits, and more.

Carson City Petco had an excellent selection of the Christmas treats and dog toys I was looking for. The service was excellent! They also had a large variety of pet accessories for other than dogs and cats. I will certainly return ro shop!
