Very interesting store. Just full of amazing finds. Lots of hardware and tools. Gardening and livestock supplies. But it also has fairly large sporting goods department. Many, many gift ideas and specialty snacks and foods. It is a nice place to spend 20 minutes shopping for things you never even knew you needed. The staff is friendly and fast to assist.

This place is awesome, as are all who work here. You could call it a mom and pop store, but it isn't. What you can't expect is a Lowes or Home Depot. This is Boulder City, and those who know and work here be it construction, landscaping, or handyman. You can usually find what you need to get a job done and NOT have to go down the hill as we BCers like to say.You can expect to be on your way with what you came for. You might even like an ice cream, candy bar, or beef jerkey . If you are unsure about anything, just ask for Gary or Eric, they have the expertise to help!

There are 2 choices for hardware stores in Boulder City. The differences are night and day. Home Hardware/ True Value has a great selection of items. Plenty of stock on hand. Friendly, knowledgeable employees. Plus they are Veteran friendly with a 10 percent discount and no hassles about it. The other place has limited selection. Usually just stocking 1 of each item. The employees aren't always the nicest, and asking for a veterans discount is usually seen as a burden to them. They told me I couldn't use my discount on an item I was purchasing with my Ace rewards coupon. I Only can use one or the other. True Value is farther to ride to on my bike, but I always choose them for my hardware needs. They have so much more than hardware as well. Roger has a nice place and you won't be disappointed. The customer service is top notch as well.

Choices.Local hardware store- family owned.Good selections.Reasonable prices.Usually, someone in the store can answer your questions.(No pics.. sorry I'm just accustomed to going there for numerous items and gardening supplies and flowers!!!)

I love True Value, they have almost everything you could need. Granted, they can't have every single item or the store would be the size of Boulder City itself, but their motto is always try them first if you're looking for something before you go spending your time over the hill.

Perfect little hardware store for the size of town and without the need to drive into the valley. Bigger and more selection than the Ace hardware and easy access for big rigs and RV’s. Propane exchange as well as fill.

High prices, limited selection, and poor customer service. We were told to go out back to pick up an overpriced sheet of drywall. No one came to meet us. We had to walk back to the store to find somebody to help us. The store was not busy at the time, so I don't know why no one came to help us. They didn't have another item that I needed and didn't help me look. They just sent me to an aisle to fend for myself. I get better service at the big stores like Lowe's and Home Depot, and their prices are much more reasonable.

I drove an hour to come here because True Value online would ship the item I needed there ($12). Home Depot and Lowe's wanted me to special order 4 of the same item ($50+) so I was happy to find that I could order one and pick it up here. Was worth the drive. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great store , locally owned open airy bright new store shelves etc. Owner Roger is extremely knowledgeable all staff is too. They are each a " expert" in a different area of tools and hardware , plumbing, painting, wood,pets. They have a small woodlot, a greenhouse and in spring and summer tons of plants from veges to landscaping and flowers. And there's a taco truck next door !!

Supposedly Seniors are supposed to get a 10% discount but every time I’ve tried to use it the item I’m buying doesn’t qualify OR the clerk has rung it up already and doesn’t offer to re-ring it at 10% less. Appears that they don’t really want anyone to get this 10% off deal???

It's a great hardware store. The employees are awesome small town locals who either know what u need & how to help or they put a smile on ur face and loan u acouple dollars to help u take home everything you came for. Unfortunately they have a little competition with our .99c store which makes acouple things in the store seem too expensive. But that's the way it goes. True Value, always my go to.

Expensive compared to big box. When you factor in gas and time from Boulder City to a big box, it's not too bad. Great selection and they have hardware that cannot be found anywhere else.

Rude owner who assumed I was just parking to go-to the the BC Dam Tacos. Maybe I was parking in your empty parking lot to order food then shop in your hardware store whilst my food was cooking...decided not to buy from your store..well done owner, try being nice to all potential customers.

The store has grown over the years and been updated. Still, though, it's everything a small-town hardware store should be. It has a wide variety of items and helpful, friendly staff.

We came in Saturday morning for some plumbing parts.the guy that helped us was rude ,sarcastic ,he acted like he didn't even want to help us.my grandfather was so uncomfortable he told me to forget it let's go to Ace hardware.that guy should appreciate that he has a job ,there's lots of people that don't.whay an aweful way to start the weekend.thanks for nothing.

Besides not carrying groceries and clothing, they have just about everything else you need at very fair prices and good service too ! Everytime I go there somebody asks if they can help me find something.No complaints !
