I was really impressed about the room, really nice, spacious and clean. Location is also good as it is located in the middle of everything. We had some issues with the bathroom during the night after the reception was closed, even it was quite hard to reach them at the allocated phone numbers (we somehow called at the casino of their sister hotel and talked with someone and informed about the issue), happy that they came back with a solution and moved us to another room....so happy ending. Really recommend the place!

The three star review is mainly due to cleanliness. The room itself is clean in most major ways such as the bed and the bathroom. However when we came into the room, there were still items in the fridge and there were items uncleaned under the bed. For any accommodation I feel like a thorough clean should be the minimum. Outside of that, the lady who checked us in was very helpful. The room for a Motel in a small town was not dated with new furnishing. The location is close to DVNP.

No sleep possible here. Walls are paper thin so I listened to the guy snore all night long in the adjacent room. Then he gets up at 6am and turns on the TV on the loudest volume. To make matters worse the wall-mounted heater is incredibly loud and the “low” fan speed did not work. Bath ceiling vent fan is worn out so it makes an annoying screech sound. If you stay here request a 2nd floor room with no one on either side and pray you don’t have a disrespectful moron staying next or above you.

This is a nice and budget motel to stay closer to the death valley. The staffs are friendly. The room is spacious and clean with everything you need, such as refrigerator and microwave. One downside is that the smell of detergent is heavy. But that also proofs that they did clean the room. One of our favorite is the tv. It is a big screen smart tv, and you can watch YouTube directly. That is very useful for foreign travelers when you want to watch something in your language.

Nice clean room. Good front desk. Not too far from Death Valley and overall was a good budget accommodation for 2 nights. Generously let us keep the pet for a nominal fee.There's a gas station adjacent to the motel with a well stocked market. Highly recommend it for a short stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Exchange Club Motel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.The service was top-notch as well, with everything I needed readily available and provided in a timely manner. I was impressed with the attention to detail that went into ensuring my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.The room itself was immaculate and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of travel.Overall, I cannot recommend Exchange Club Motel highly enough. The combination of friendly staff and excellent service make for a truly wonderful experience. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out - you won't be disappointed!

The rooms themselves are good: spacious, firm bed, and a walk in shower with the most pressure i have ever experienced. I loved that! The water was hot. The AC was very loud so we couldn't use it at night but otherwise it was working well. On the downside: the ice maker ( there's only one for the whole motel)was broken and when I mentioned it to the receptionist, she shrugged it off. I asked if it would be fixed the next day, and she said maybe. It was not. Also, when we tried to use the coffee maker in the room, we found an old used coffee pouch in it. Yuck.

Beatty is the place to stay if you are doing Death Valley on a budget.Rooms are clean and recently renovated. Showers are big and have great pressure. Beds are a bit sofe for my taste , but had three quality pillows, so I managed. Carpet is a bit worn, but that's not a big deal.It's in the same parking lot as a 24 hour gas station, which is convenient it you get in or get hungry late.If you check in after hours, you have to go to the Death Valley Inn.

Excellent service!When we arrived the front desk gal was super friendly and nice! Our suite is fantastic and smells so nice! It is very clean here! Our doggies are more than happy to be able to join us! Right in the heart of Beaty and close to all the attractions! What a cute spot!

On my grand journey across the great Highway to my final destination. Er not FINAL like the movie just destination. I chose this place due to its website mentioning a Steampunk Casino being built. It is still being built but hey even just the idea of it was enough for me.I arrived in a timely fashion the young lady at the front desk was a lovely and kind person who helped me choose a place to eat dinner. That place I will review shortly because... Dang... so good.Anyway. the Parking is excellent. The room is clean, this bed my mighty posterior rests on is comfortable and the AC is fighting the heat valiantly.I haven't tried the shower yet but that is because I am too busy admiring myself in the GIANT Mirrors!! Serious its glorious. This place is well worth the price and the town though tiny seems peaceful enough. I will only update if anything bad happens but I suspect I will enjoy my evening immensely because. GIANT Mirrors!! :)

Very surprised for the price. The room was very clean and looks like it has been recently updated. A/C worked great during August heat. Dog friendly, but didn’t have a good place to take the dog outside as it’s mostly rocks and no grass. Very satisfied overall, would definitely stay again.

The Exchange Club Motel is a convenient place to stay for a trip to Death Valley National Park, if you're not staying inside the park. The room was comfortable and clean. It also has a nice refrigerator and microwave, which can come in handy as there are limited places to eat in the area. Temperature regulation for the room and the water to it was easy. They give you ear plugs but I did not find the room noisy during my stay. The only oddity about the stay was they had no hangers for the closet which makes it practically useless for storing clothes. The service at the front desk was good. Overall the experience was positive and I would stay here again.

The motel totally met our requirements. The check-in was good. The staff was very welcoming. The motel looks relatively renovated and clearly outperforms comparable motels. The refrigerator and air conditioner were a bit noisy. However, this did not bother us.

We reserved two rooms because I waited until the last minute to go to Death Valley. This place was the only place with a vacancy at a reasonable price, which in my opinion, was more than the value of the place. I'm not sure why it is called "Exchange Club" but I should have known what to expect from the name. The pillows were stained and had hair on them. When we asked for new linen and pillows the front desk said they hadn't received the new shipment so they didn't have any new or clean ones to provide us. So were the sheets not clean? How old were they?The shower grout was stained and there was hair along the corners of the room. The heater was old, the room cold and the notice said not to turn up the heat over 75 because it could overheat their system. The dial on the heater was from 1 to 8, so I had no idea where 75 was.We slept terribly for two nights.Would not go there again.

Location is very convenient to death valley and the rooms are pretty nice and clean. Has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Having a laundry room was pretty awesome too. Staff is super nice. Unfortunately our room was about the same temperature as outside in December. There's no heater, it's a heat pump system I think. It was pretty brutal having to sleep in my winter coat, I could have had the same quality night sleeping in my car. It took till about the next morning to actually get warm. They should keep those things on so it's not freezing when someone comes in. Even with the heat problems, it was a significantly better stay than my last time in beatty at the Atomic Inn who had cockroaches coming out of the sink.

Nicely equipped motel. Prices were very reasonable (~90/night). Everything was clean and a lot of items had been updated. Only complaints were that the beds were hard and there was this stupid bright light at the bathroom sink that you can't turn off! We had to cover it with book so it didn't light up the one half of our room.All that being said, we would definitely return if we were in Beatty. Located right next to a great bbq joint.

A motel with a high quality of a class Hotel Service. The front desk people are so courteous and helpful on guiding you about the local attractions. The room I got was sparkling clean, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Check-in and check-out was so easy; I couldn’t fill out their feedback form as I was in hurry on my travel hence would like to convey my special kudos to their cleaning team. You got close by restaurants(smokinJ’s bbq) and you have plenty of parking space. Do visit the Death Valley Nut & Candy Co and I liked the breakfast here. You got couple of 2 gas stations which is pretty close to the motel. This is really suitable for couples or couples with 1,2 small kids. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
