About 2 weeks ago while in this store, I tripped and fell over a rack of toilet bowl fresheners that they had sitting on the floor in an aisle. Hurt my hip and my back. No report was taken. They didn’t move the items. Nothing. I will admit that I didn’t know I had to ask for the report, so that is on me. But I have been back in the store twice now to find the same rack of toilet bowl fresheners on the floor in the exact same spot as they were when I fell. It’s negligent at this point. I’ve brought it up to an employee every time I’ve been in there, they say it will get moved, and the next time I’m in it’s still there. The next person who trips is going to be a fragile elderly person who can’t heal the way my younger body can.

The staff is nice and the store is always clean and stocked unless this certain Mexican family comes in and runs the place. But the staff is quick to clean up after their ruckus. I especially enjoy this danyelle girl she is super nice and helpful

I really love this store. I love it because I live in Louisville and it's the closest cheap store and there pretty much everything there. The nearest Wal-Mart is 20+ miles away so this is a great alternative. But the customer service is terrible. I'm always waiting at the register either because they only have 1 register open and the line is huge or because there is no cashier up there and I end up having to walk around the store to find an employee to check me out

Great staff, so nice to regulars, love chatting and would rather go here then to the grocery store. Had a problem with my coupon transaction but they happily fixed it

I was really mad, some items I was going to buy, that said they were 50% off, signs down the isle said summer items,50% off .. None of them were and the cashier said oh that ended over the weekend. Our store in town is bad . I'll go to Walmart next time.

Workers didn't say anything when we walked in. Not a welcome or hi. Didnt say anything when he rang up items. When I said thank you he said yup.

Not always the most organized place, but I was able to get everything I needed for camping and my wedding centerpieces for cheap.

I visited Dollar General just for a quick exchange of a malfunctioning product. The clerk was very pleasant and did a very quick exchange, no questions asked!

Decent bathroom. Would be 5 star but the bathroom had ceiling tiles missing and i had to get a key from the guy.

There is nothing commonplace about the monetary savings at Dollar General. I saved exactly enough money to buy 3.4 gallons of gas for my car.
