The employees were very nice and I bought a collar for the invisible fence for $99 and the day before I was at Petsmart just because I was near that store and their same color was $159. I made sure to tell all my friends how much better your store is and affordable.

The store is kind of on a questionable area... the employees are nice, but their bathrooms were the worst ever! I honestly couldn't even utilize it, there were spiders IN the stalls, cobwebs everywhere, the fan vent was clogged, the toilet bowl brush had a massive spiderweb connected to it, and you can tell the toilets haven't been cleaned in quite some time. Super disgusting

The reason I put extremely likely on the first one is because I was happy with how nice the people working there were and also my leaped gecko loved his crickets so that’s why I rated it extremely likely. The second one I rated extremely likely is because I shop at Petco pretty frequently because my leapord gecko needs crickets and also because the staff working there are so nice thank u and have a blessed day!

03/30/2024I have two dogs that have been groomed at 56th location several times in a row, for both dogs.When drop off, said groomer asked “same as last time?” Husband said “Yes” NOT the case AT ALL!!I paid $131 for grooming service (Sat before Easter) Neither dogs nails were trimmed, my teacup Yorkie went in with a bow and came out hair buzzed to unevenly from 1/4 in to 1inch with no way to place a bow. Her ears weren’t plucked, her face wasn’t washed when bathed, was spoken to groomed that we were having family pictures as we do have our fur babies in photographs with family. I have every reason to be unsatisfied.I called the store manager (Brian) as soon as they came home (Husband picked up) and spoke with him about the issues above and he directed me to call Jarika Monday (today).When I called and spoke with Jarika, she was not willing to hear me out and kept defending the groomer. When I asked if she was willing to compliment this grooming. She told me “I don’t feel we are getting anywhere here so I’m going to end this call” she hung up!I’ve never had poor service before hand as I’m deeply disappointed that I wasn’t even heard.So IF you don’t want to gamble with your pets grooming experience at YOUR expense..LITERALLY.. and pay for services you DONT receive..DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABY to the 56th and Hwy 2 location, in Lincoln Ne.ONLY gave 1 Star just to leave a review

I am sharing these pictures of our 4 month old puppy’s first haircut at petco by Shelby.I was able to get him into a local groomer two days later who cleaned him up the best she could having to work around these shaved spots. I am so upset at what petco did to our dog and hope no other dog goes through this. I will be telling all of our friends and neighbors to stay away from Petco!

I spent $316.50 only to be told I now have to pay for checkout bags. This is ridiculous. The cashier was also obviously sick and coughed right onto her hand as she was touching items. Petco has really gone downhill over the last few months.

This is nice large pet shop. You can buy lots of essentials for aquarium or any other kind of pets such as dog, cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits, mice, spiders etc. Also can buy salt water fish.

I have shopped at this Petco for 20 years. Today I stopped at Petco for my monthly trip. I purchased several cans of premium Merrick dog food, and several bags of freeze dried Instinct. The total came to $198 and I was informed that bags are now 10 cents a piece. NO signage in the store anywhere and no email advisement of this new policy. I told the cashier I was just in the store a month ago and that this was a surprise. I asked her for bags for this order and I would know for next time. She refused. Is this how customers are now treated? Apparently so. It becomes clearer and clearer why Chewy has become the number one pet food seller. Spending $198 and having to beg for three plastic bags (which I did not receive) is unacceptable. Shame on this store and shame on Petco. Shameful treatment of a customer of 30 years and shameful treatment of a senior citizen.

I learned that a person has to go beyond the $5 mark of cost to use the petco money from the membership 😕 I chose 3 treat bags for the dogs and figured the 13.58 that was the cost of 2 bags that would give me the 3rd free w/ tax my thoughts were about $15. I was asked for the $4 and as I said to the cashier; I am not complaining about $4 for 3 bags of treats but my figuring left me owing change. Consequently I only was allowed to use 2 of the soon to expire credit vouchers. I ended up using the 3rd on some urine cleaning solution for the carpet 😁🤑😕 I am ok with that, but that register find was kinda costly; but something useful. The cashier was pleasant and patient while I used the credit that I didn't want to lose to expiration. 😊

No good. I had my hands full and I asked for help in getting a large tank from the woman working the counter named heather. She looked at me pretty much sideways and said "Aren't you going to get it?" Rudest person there. Don't work in customer service if you can't help.At least get someone else to help.Abysmal customer service.

Cat food selection is sometimes sparse, like it's been picked over and there are gaps in the inventory, but they have good healthy brands of food and some nice cat toys. Makes it easy to only have to stop one place for my petcare needs.

Our experience with Petco has been almost great across the board. The store has a great selection of items for decent prices and friendly service. The groomer department has been almost always fantastic save for a short period when they were dealing with large turnover. The girls at the store we take our pups to now are so sweet and good to our babies and our pups love to see them! This makes us feel so good on grooming days!!!!

I needed a proof from my vet that my dog can be groomed because she was older than seven years old. They didn’t notify me of this rule until two days before my appointment. Apparently that’s just a thing with Petco.

I've searched for many years for the good clippers to groom my long-haired cat. I decided to ask for assistance from one of the groomers. Kara was incredibly helpful and extremely knowledgeable . Amazing customer service skills. And I got a great pair of clippers.

I like this Petco it's the closest to my house but there are people nvr in aquatics. That is the only department I go to when I go there. They had what I was looking for, it's rare for this store to be out of anything. Always fully stocked.

In general I tend to avoid this place. It has nothing to do with the employees. I've had pretty positive experiences. However I've had poor experiences online as well as they have poor practices with taking care of their employees. This last time I went was an emergency purchase. They had what I needed that day on sale (online with in store pickup). Had any other place had it for a similar price I would've gone there. I was frustrated only the manager could help me with my in store pickup so they had to find her. Otherwise they were quick and friendly.

STARTED NOT SO GOOD; ENDED VERY WELLI ordered items from the website and wanted same day delivery. (I don't have a p.o.v and my work truck is in the shop until tomorrow) I had a Door dash show up with 1 item out of 12 that I ordered. When I called the store they told me it had been separated into to orders (I ordered everything in the sme transaction), that she (the very helpful person that answered the phone; and I don't remember her name) would call door dash and see what can be done. Door dash was not helpful to her at all. I also called door dash and and was told to call the petco I ordered the items from. There was nothing they could do.......VERY FRUSTRATING. In calling back to petco the young lady went out of her way to help me. She said she would bring the items to me after she got off work (about 2200). It's 20:00 and the front desk at the hotel called and said my order was here.... the whole door dash system they have going on with the petcos is messed up,(this isn't the first time I've had issues like this, but at another store in another state) however the customer service and the extra mile that was gone for someone that is from out of town and no vehicle, is above and beyond. THANK YOU for caring about the problem and finding a solution to it.

Don't buy animals from Petco.Don't by the bearded dragons.Don't buy the fish.Don't buy the hamsters..Their enclosures for reptiles are designed to provide a constant temp which is often outside of the requirements of these animals.Some reptiles burn alive (veiled chameleons)Some reptiles are so cold they can't properly digest food (bearded dragons)The fish are all infected with ich or fin rot and there are no protocols to quarantine new arrivals.All the fish systems are brand new and only two are not infected with disease after the FIRST SHIPMENT OF FISH.I tried my hardest to get them to change the things they needed to.I worked there as a manager for many months and was fired for literally feeding hamsters food.DO NOT BUY ANIMALS FROM PETCOFIND A LOCAL BREEDER

Nice employee's but the store is just too small you can't even fit two carts next to each other in an aisle it is ridiculous and everyone is always trying to get through places and they also had truck pallets in three way of people getting through. I would recommend going to the o street one. It's more convenient and twice the size. Very irritated with cooperate not improving the size of the store.

When I went to this store, it was around 6pm on a weeknight. The store was dirty, cluttered, and had a pugent smell when I walked in. None of their clerks greeted me nor did they offer to help me find what I was looking for. I had to walk up to the cash register to ask her if someone could help me in the aquatic Dept.--she told me to go back there again and wait and someone would come assist me. I waited over 15 minutes and no one came. I've never experienced the store looking like it did nor have I ever received such bad customer service than I did that night. I was quite disappointed with this particular store that night. Normally, it's been a quick and convenient place to ship for my pets.
