I love my dogs. If you don’t want anything to happen to your dog, please do not take them here. A dog died by hanging herself because she was left unattended. The owner didn’t seem to care about the dog owner’s pain and the dog passing away. Just because it didn’t happen to you doesn’t mean it won’t happen again because of their practices.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Canine Design is responsible for the Death of my dog!!!! These people called themselves professionals which is a joke. They then lied multiple times about the situation and the death of my dog. There was 4 people working in this business at the time of my dogs death. By the way it’s a very small building and they left my dog unattended wet in a bathtub which resulted in my dog jumping out and hanging itself to death. What dog enjoys being washed?? Not a lot and Also by the way it takes 2-4 minutes for a dog or human to suffocate to death so my dog suffered and with 4 people there in this small building and nobody was there to help. This was pure laziness,Neglect,unprofessional and irresponsible. During this whole situation it has seemed like they hardly care about the passing of my dog and really only care about themselves and how their name is going to be ruined. I highly recommend not bringing your dogs here I wouldn’t want anyone to feel and go threw what I have. I don’t want this to happen to you. Please look somewhere else to get your fur babies haircuts😣

They killed a dog by leaving it unattended and the dog jumped and couldn’t reach the floor and hung to its death. Poor family out of a dog all those costs and they show no sympathy to the family. They were ticketed for cruelty to animals so think twice before you take your beloved fur baby there. Plenty of other groomers in lincoln. Its not even worth one star but its as low as it goes. If I could give a negative star rating I would! Absolutely abhorrent behavior from "professionals". Poor Nala was negligently left unattended and unfortunately lost her life as a result. I would trust a drink mixed by Bill Cosby himself, more than I would trust these people to groom my dogs!

3/26/24 UPDATEThis place needs to be shut down asap and the workers need to be held accountable for their actions that have resulted in numerous horrible experiences with customers and the recent dog death.I originally left this review 3 months ago, see below.The workers here lied through their teeth multiple times to me as I mentioned below and now come to find out a dog passed away there. Absolutely heartbreaking and totally not surprising. I knew the workers here were not right. To the person who lost their dog… I am SO SO SO SO sorry oh my gosh, I’d be just heart broken.I don’t want to take my dog to any groomer now! I’m looking forward to taking it on myself.Original review:My dog has been there three times, the first time was fine and I was told the ear cleaning, anal gland cleanse and nail cutting is apart of the wash/hair cut package - they did all that and it was terrific. Second time, horrible - they gave my dog a bath and haircut but no nail trim, ear cleanse nor anal gland cleanse. I asked the groomer In person why wasn’t it done when I picked up my dog and she said you have to ask for those things, I said well I was told last time it’s all included and she said it’s separate. I accepted the discrepancy in the information given and moved on with my life hoping next time I’d get clarity when taking my dog in.Took my dog there the third time and I specifically asked for my dogs nails, ears and anal glands to be cleansed along with the normal bath/cut and she said yes that’s all included(not Brianna for groomer who said it wasn’t the second time) I said “oh great!”because that was my original understanding until Brianna told me last time it was not the case and that I would need to ask for it.The lady then went on to say no, we always do those three things and I said well that’s what I was originally told and what I experienced the first time until it wasn’t done last time and I was told differently. The lady then went on to keep telling me they always do those three things, completely dismissing the fact that I was told something different the previous time and that those three things were not done last time.Overall highly dissatisfied with my experience with the entire groom room because of the misinformation given and zero apology/empathy given for not providing the full service I paid the second time my dog was groomed.Groom room, it may benefit you to learn from my experience and make sure all groomers are communicating accurate/the same information to clients and completing all groom services including in the package asked for; to ensure no one else has to experience what I did here.Lastly, showing empathy and owning up to mistakes goes along way when it comes to building clientele and keeping one. Thank you for the work that was done for my dog and I hope this is rectified so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

The groomer left a little dog unattended in the tub and the dog was able to jump out of the tub where she hung herself & died. The owner had her examined by a vet who stated her neck was not broken so the little dog suffered all bc of a careless employee. Wouldn't risk my animals going there ever after this.

A few years back I took my Shih Tzu here, I always thought our pup had grown to hate going to the groomers. But the last time we took her, she dropped to her belly and peed all over herself. I knew this behavior wasn’t right & had to be due to how she was being treated. Our Luci hasn’t shown this behavior prior to coming here or after leaving at any other groomers. I hate to think of how she was being treated while in their care. I come to leave this review bearing in mind the situation that has just come to light with Canine Design. Please reconsider bringing your pets here

Over the top satisfied with this service. I’ve been nervous about sending my Pom to a groomer in fear of his coat being ruined, but Brianna was extremely knowledgeable and did a spectacular job for such an affordable price. It’s relieving knowing where I’ll be taking my boy next time!

Absolutely disgusting what you have done. That poor dog lost its life due to negligence!!! That family thought they were taking their beautiful baby to get all prettied up & their worst nightmare came true! I couldn’t imagine. Someone needs to be held responsible for this.

We took our 1st Shih Tzu and take our 2nd Shih Tzu and rescue Yorkie Terrier mix to Donita and her grooming business and we have absolutely enjoyed having her groom all of canines ans can't think of any other place to get them groomed

If I could give no stars I would. A friend's dog ended up dying while in their care. They left her alone while in the tub on a rope around her neck that groomers use to keep her in place and when left alone she jumped out of the tub and hung herself. There is NO excuse for this. Do Not Go Here!

My pups had their first grooming today and while I did schedule this at the beginning of the month they were the only ones in Lincoln taking new clients. My pups are clean matte free and look adorable. Will be coming back for their next groom.

My pup needed to be neutered and i needed to groom my pup before surgery. I explained to them the situation and they were very receptive and we're able to fit my pup into theirs busy schedule. I am very pleased with them. I will continue to use their services.

Terrible experience! Brought my dog in for grooming....not only did she come home physically sick (for 3 days), they sprayed her with perfume that caused a reaction to her skin! Her nails were clipped so short (to the quick) that she had blood on each of her nails! I would not recommend this place!
