Wow, wow, and wow! Baker's Candies was a Nebraska Passport fan favorite stop, and not having been there before myself, now I know why?! It's a good thing I live so far away, or I would put on 50 pounds quickly. They are very liberal with their samples, and I was happy to experiment. We stocked up on some obscure bottled sodas too, but the really good stuff is in the case to the right when you come in the door. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. What a great little candy oasis this place is!

The place was HUGE! I got more than what's pictured, but my all-time favorite find was the raspberry filled candies! They remind me of my childhood when my mom used to buy them at Christmas time and have them in a candy dish in our family room.

It's been a good many years since I last visited Baker's Candy store. It has expanded & changed the layout of the inside of the store. When I walked inside & seen row after row of various candies I felt like a little kid again. I had to walk up & down each isle making sure I saw every stitch of candy 😋 Doesn't matter if you're 5 or 95 years old this store is for all. It's AMAZING ! !

Reefer truck delivery here. The dock for OTR trucks is on Baker so turn on Church then right on Baker behind the facility. Baker is a gravel quiet street so there is room and time to pull up and get set up. They open at 7am for truck delivery. There isn’t officially overnight parking here but I arrived late at night and just backed up to the dock, leaving doors closed until they told me to open up in the morning. Because Baker is such a quiet street, (very few cars) it would be a possible consideration to park there as well. The candy store opens at 9am. They unloaded the truck in just a few minutes. Also, the forklift operator gave me a sample bag of assorted meltaways. 🎉 I then parked alongside Baker and waited for the store to open so I could check it out. I wasn’t disappointed 😃. I ended up purchasing additional candy for my dispatcher and the office staff. My favorite flavors are the chocolate cherry and chocolate raspberry. Really nice people here plus fast and efficient.

Amazing how many products they have- I’ve only ever had their melting flavored chocolates and now I get to try more things! Big selection, old fashioned candy as well! Must see!

Place is huge. Great selection of candies from the current to the past. Love the local selections of sauces, spices, condiments ect. Food/candy is great service was very good... It just seemed busy and too many shopping down a row at a time. It can get loud since it's got a warehouse feel, and a bit expensive. If you're looking for something from your childhood past for sweets... This place has it!

A real gem! I have lived most of my life in Omaha and had no idea this place existed until about 2 months ago. Today I made my first visit and can't wait to go back.I have a sweet tooth and of course so do the kids. I like that this place is close enough, but yet far enough to be a fun destination for a family adventure. It is the perfect place to take the kids for a treat; a great way to kill some time and spend quality time together.This place should be on every family's list of places to go. Perfect for a nice day, rainy day, or even a snow day!

I grew up in Ashland, Ne but have been gone from there for many years. My wife is from Fremont and was an RN at St Joseph’s hospital in Omaha. At one of her reunions a couple of years ago your Chocolate Mint Meltaways were a favor at one of their dinners. We live in Charlotte, NC and she brought them home for me to try. After that first sample we have ordered the 5 pound bags several times and we and our friends always look forward to after dinner treats. Thank you for the great candies.

I had a pleasure delivering here. I was unsure where the dock was at, and the kind lady on the phone gave me adequate directions. Right when I walked in the receiving door in the back I was hit with smiling facing, which is a plus in my book. Us truck drivers deal with so many nasty and rude customer service at these shipping and receiving offices on a regular basis, it was really nice to see people actually like there job. I also bought some goodies for the road to share with my family. This was by far the best delivery I have in the 2 years i have been driving. I hope I am able to delivery to this place again.Pssstttt: please please please order from the Chicago area or around the area so I can deliver here again. The only reason I was able to deliver this load was because I dropped off a load in NJ and the pick up for that load was near by in PA. Unfortunately I do not go north east the often.

They are know for their chocolate meltaways, which are made here! This candy shop is connected to the factory. A large-screen video shows how they are made. They come in assorted flavors and are surprisingly good! A must try!They sell a wide variety of other candies in bulk baskets. They also sell other local food items, gifts, t- shirts, and a wide variety of glass- bottled soda.

A diabetic's dream! I hadn't been here for a couple of years and I didn't recognize the interior at all! What a huge improvement to the business. They have way more than the used to. What a great place, a real gem in small-town NE.

Also they have a good selection of products made here in Nebraska that isn't candy or chocolate.Parking: Note on busy days you may have to park in a gravel lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids will have fun picking out their favorite candies and chocolate. Adults can show children the candies they used to eat when they were kids.Wheelchair accessibility: The area is mostly flat and there is handicap parking.

If you are from Nebraska you've head if Baker's chocolates. If your not from Nebraska you NEED to check them out. The best chocolates you can get! Each chocolate is wrapped in a unique color so you know what flavor you are getting. The outlet store also had many other candy items, gift baskets, sodas, etc. You can purchase.

Bakers Chocolates have been a favorite with my family since the 1960’s. Having been born and raised in St. Louis, MO, my Grandfather conducted business in Detroit, Lincoln and Omaha. He would ALWAYS bring home a box of these little meltaways that he would place by his living room chair and share. When my Father was transferred to Omaha with ConAgra Foods, we discovered these treats once again! These chocolates are one of my favorite things and I gift them whenever I can, especially at Christmas!! When planning meetings at luxury hotels, I always gift Bakers Chocolates and a little “candy dish” from Borsheim’s (Berkshire Hathaway’s jewelry store) to highlight the gems of Nebraska! You won’t go wrong in purchasing the assortment bag….and discover your favorite flavor! My favorite is in the shiny purple wrappers!!
