The fried chicken comes out nice and crispy and hot. Been here a couple times now and absolutely adore it.Their cole slaw is a great side as well as the fries.Service is always friendly and prompt.Really a great little hole in the wall. Highly recommend you try it out if you haven't!

We stopped by the chicken coop after exploring Holland lake for the morning. The service was welcoming and beer was good. We all ordered burgers and they were delicious! Thank you for the awesome lunch.

Good fried chicken and excellent house made cinnamon rolls! A chicken dinner + upgraded sidewinders is $16.50. Portions are generous so you’ll be going home w/ leftovers.

I had a great time at this place. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries, which were excellent. My friend got the fried cod and coleslaw and she was greatly satisfied. The waitress was friendly and attentive and really made the experience a pleasure. I liked the atmosphere of the room - it made for a homey and relaxed feel.

Stopped in not sure what to expect, this place is amazing 🤩 the chicken was juicey and fell off the bone, the soup of the day was broccoli cheddar and it was beautifully creamy 10/10 I would come back. Slow service but there’s only a few people working, it’s worth the wait for sure

We ordered food when passing through yesterday, overpriced & inedible. We ordered chicken strips, they were deep fried till unrecognizable, fries were cold dried out sticks with no potatoe left in them, our 2 yr old wouldnt even eat them. They were handed to us in paper tray with a napkin spread over top instead of a take out container. Employee was rude, didn't even acknowledge my presence & when I spoke to him, just snapped out 2-3 word answers. $50 worth of food straight in the trash. Don't recommend eating here if you have a choice

Waited for anyone to acknowledge our presence for 30 minutes. No one even said hi or looked at us the whole time. The table next to us came in 15 min after us and got coffee, menus, water, etc before we had anyone acknowledge us.I understand being busy, but ignoring a table entirely is just poor service.We left and went next door for breakfast where we were immediately welcomed in.

The appetizer was burnt, (steak fingers). A salad was ordered with no tomatoes and onions and they failed that. They brought out a root beer that was very watered down. ( The machine was out of fluid) However, we said, well that is fine I will wait for the machine to be serviced and you can take that one. She left it there. One opened a chicken salad sandwich which cost 12.50. Two pieces of leaf bread was all it was, fell all apart. Out of the soup I ordered and wasn't told until after the appetizer came out. The chicken basket with fries were good, one out of three orders were good. Two were terrible.

Amazing food and people. Unfortunately we waited 40 mins the other day for 2 chicken baskets. It was busy so we understand, however.......40 mins for a take out order waiting? They could use an updated P.O.S and more efficiency in getting orders out. We weren't the only one that waited long either.The food and people are AWESOME just pick up the pace please :)

The fried chicken dinner they served was good. It's a little plain tasting, but they do have hot sauce available to help spice things up a big. If your looking for just fried chicken this is the place. Also, the teriyaki chicken wings basket is pretty good. But they do skimp on the celery and carrots. When you ask for a takeout container, they LITERALLY give you a doggie bag. Lol. Also, here was the daily specials for the day I visited and the menu.♡

This place was not great. I didn’t expect much and was still disappointed. We got a burger and some chicken tenders for a quick bite during our travels. How could you go wrong with those simple choices? The burger was tough pressed meat and the tenders were dry.

Barely changed in 25 years.I used to go here with m grandmother in the 90s-00's The only difference was a patio out back. Luckily they had misters because it was 100 degrees.Very limited menu for food. Small bar area and the woman taking my food order was a little curt.Was not a fantastic nostalgic experience, but I got to show the kids where I spent my summers at their ages.Great place for basic food and service.

Updated 06/20/22Staff is incredibly friendly! Of course I live in the community and I’m easily recognized.That being said this place is still my go to when it’s my turn to cook. I don’t always order the same stuff and sometimes I only order a side dish. Never dissatisfied, never.Put off by past customer service but always brought back by the quality of the food and overall service. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the Chicken Dinner!

We'll start with the positives, the chicken is pretty good and the sides aren't too bad. However, while the server was friendly she seemed distracted and I didn't feel the service was great. The biggest issue for me was the time it took for the food to come out and the fact that I saw not a single sanitary measure when it came to plating food. Not a glove in sight, open kitchen reveals all. They are bare handed touching your food right before it hits your mouth. If you're going to go public kitchen at least make it "look" clean.

Absolutely terrible!!!!The first waitress we got, was not very pleasant.. second waitress we got was great!!!There was 6 of us, 2 being kids..One kid order the kids menu fish and chips. One other adult ordered the regular fish and chips, both were roughly the same size, but for a kids and an adult to get the same smaller portions, wasn't cool.The other kid got the finger steaks and chicken noodle soup.The finger steaks looked like they were freezer burnt.. was Absolutely disgusting. The chicken noodle soup was also not even edible. Thick grease layer on the top, followed but some real nearly lookin pieces of chicken 🤔Chicken strip basket, for an adult.. well........I can't even find the words for it.Overall, was Absolutely terrible.If you have no other options, wait.. or you'll have better luck eating something from the gas station thats been behind the case all day!!!Worst $75 spent

My husband's fried chicken was good. It's made to order and frying a huge portion of chicken takes a while, so the wait should be expected. I was very sad by my tenders. They were frozen and not very good. I've had some very, very good frozen tenders and these just weren't it. I also didn't come here for frozen chicken. I don't think it's unreasonable to want the chicken tenders fresh with the rest of the chicken items.I've seen them have some very interesting looking specials lately, so we might stop in again at some point. We're still looking for a restaurant good enough to drive out the 30-40 minutes from Missoula. We love Seeley, but make the hour or so drive to Flathead because we can have the lake and amazing BBQ there.
