The most WONDERFUL staff. We had so much fun visiting the Sapphire Gallery, they had answers for all our questions and we got some amazing jewelry. Oh my heck - we LOVE Holly at the Sapphire Gallery! Not only is she very professional and knowledgeable about Sapphires, she has the very best sense of humor ever - we always look forward to seeing her at the Gallery. She assessed our sapphire finds and sent them out to be fired, our next visit to see her will be to design a couple of rings with these stones - so excited! Thank you Holly!!

Edit: just a few short months later and I need to revise this review, because stones have fallen out of my necklace that was custom made here. I only wore the necklace a handful of times and one of the stones already fell out...We got my engagement ring custom made here (with our own sapphires) and then had all my wedding jewelry custom made here (also with our own sapphires). They did amazing work, were supper patient as we worked through what we needed/wanted, and we super affordable. They worked with us to make each piece unique.

Sapphire Gallery heat treated sapphires for me and they are BEAUTIFUL. This place had a quick turnaround time (less than 4 weeks) and were great to work with. And more affordable than the competitor in town! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time digging up some beautiful sapphires from the rock bags!! Location is super cool and staff were super friendly!! Holly had us cracking up during our gem appraisal after the panning process. The gentlemen were both very kind and helped us identify the stones since we were inexperienced. Awesome experience, we had a blast, and highly recommended!!

I stopped in and found a gorgeous necklace that I was interested in. It was expensive but I decided to treat myself. One lady was cleaning a piece of jewelry for a non paying customer and another was showing piece after piece to another customer. I had been camping and probably didn't look like a jewelry person, but I walked out after standing there for 15 minutes and not even receiving a glance from either clerk. A smile and a "be right with you" would have gone a long way.

Absolutely terrible experience and customer service! Drove well over 2 hours out of our way to stop here in Hope's of finding the perfect sapphire to add to my sterling silver Montana necklace. Entered the building only to be told rudely to use hand sanitizer, no hello, welcome, just demanded to use sanitizer. Didnt feel welcomed at all. Also very misleading brochure we picked up from the gas station, "indoor mining" where?? Would have loved to spend some money and time there. Maybe if the snooty short haired lady at the counter took a few minutes to greet us and ask if we were after something particular? We decided to leave. After all it's just an over priced jewlery shop anyway. Not happy at all

Sales specialist Ashley was most helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and customer service oriented. She was very patient in helping and assisting me in finding a quality sapphire for my wife, not present.We took pictures, she spoke with my wife by offline and we bought a beautiful stone!

Never been to the store before but started mining for sapphires about a year ago thru mail. I tried several other places and in my opinion this is the place to get your sapphires from and definitely have them heated and cut here. From their bags I have found many sapphires that they have heated and cut. From A beautiful .69 cut orange stone which they turned into a stunning pendant for my wife to a 6.33 carrot sapphire that cut into a spectacular 1.69 cobalt blue buff top ERV 1980.00 and many in between. Ashley and Holly are prompt, patient, helpful and very good at what they do. The Sapphire Gallery gets a AA+++ from me.

I've shopped there with my service dog a number of times, and received a warm welcome. Their Sapphire creations are imaginative with a wide array of colors and styles.

This is to gallery in town . Ladies were not friendly at all. Very snobbish . We drove along way , took little dog , it was hot in car so we carried pup in and we're not greeted friendly at all , and told friendly that we couldn't carry pup in . Right away were told in a unfriendly manner we couldn't bring pup in, the ladies had no public relation skills, there's a way to be friendly about and they were unfriendly About it, I'll never go back to store in town go to mine 6 miles down road I've heard they are friendly, I've talked to other people that said same thing dog or no dog ladies are snobs

They had cool jewelry but the ladies were pretty stuck up. Only place in that small town I dealt with snobby people. I probably wouldn't go back and it's simply all because they lacked good customer service.

Really a great place to visit though it is a long drive from the Interstate. Do the gem hunting right there at store with material taken from the nearby mine. Fun to do but it requires some patience and good eyesight. Found some very small sapphires which aren't really worth much.

My wife and I were in Philipsburg, MT in August 2016 and after finding some beautiful sapphires at the local mine we took them to The Sapphire Gallery where we spent an hour or more with Holly to decide on having one of our Sapphires made into a ring for my wife to celebrate our 25th Anniversary.Holly recommended that we have the Sapphires "Fired" and then pick the best one for the ring. We paid her the money to have The Sapphire Gallery "fire" the stones and then she would ship them to us in Calgary, AB.It's January 2017 right now and we still have not received our Sapphires. We have had several emails back and forth and she basically says that the stones are held up at the border in Customs.Holly's last correspondence to us was that it's our responsibility to figure out how to get them from Customs. We have no tracking number or any information as to how to go about getting the shipment from the US Postal Service.I'm saddened by the lack of care and professionalism that Holly and The Sapphire Gallery has demonstrated in helping us with creating our special 25th Anniversary gift.The Langfords,Calgary, AB

My husband purchased a tealight holder for me the last time we were in Philipsburg. When lit, it cast stars on the ceiling. He teased me about finally getting me to sleep under the stars with him. We slept under the Stars every night after that. When he passed away, that little tea light holder came to mean a lot to me. When it was accidentally broken, I contacted the sapphire gallery and they replaced it without charge. They even threw in a second one.Thank you TSG. If I could give you 10 Stars I would.

Went in to spend some money and have fun and was assaulted with questions about my service dog and why I have one. If you have a disability or service animal, this is not a friendly place.
