It's a smaller selection, but nice that you don't have to drive all the way into town. It is a little more expensive, but that's a ok by me. It's always a hoot in there! They even have a small deli and homemade/ish type stuff!

It’s a nice little grocery store but they won’t let anybody do lemonade stands and some kids are just trying to make some money. But besides that, it’s nice so I give it 4/5

This is a smaller local market that doesn't have a ton of variety yet has a little bit of everything. The people working the deli are delightful. Surprisingly, the produce here, especially the grapes is pretty good. The prices are a little higher than a market in Kalispell, but I understand the cost of convenience. My only caveat is that sometimes the cost of things out of the deli is especially high. It surprising what $10 doesn't get you from there on certain days.

I find the shopping experience here acceptable, prices average. I take major exception to a checker wearing political advertising on his shirt and hat, particularly with slogans that stand for profane and foul language aimed at our President. This is a poor business practice and just plain wrong.

I look forward to visiting here every time I know I'm headed in that direction. Somehow they have found some top notch friendly staff to go along with a quaint shopping experience, which is a combination that isn't always easy to find! Also, the chicken from their deli is ridiculously good. Don't order a huge pile if you expect to save leftovers, you will just end up eating it all!

I've had better...I've had worse. Could be cleaner and the prices are a little on the high side. Some of the employees were eager to help while others...not so much. Not a large enough variety to make this your only means and too pricey for those on a budget...okay in a pinch....but honestly the few miles one has o drive to a larger...better stocked more affordable grocery store is well worth the drive.

I really dig this little store, they've got everything in there. Some stuff costs a few cents more but that's a survival trait of all small town markets. Other stuff is such a deal that I get 2 or 3 and just stock up. The deli is great and the people are super nice and there's a vibe in there that makes you wanna just putt around and explore.

This is a great little store, they have all the essentials and last minute things you forgot. The selection is pretty diverse given the size and prices are pretty reasonable given the lack of competition and distance from other options. Staff is friendly and the deli is pretty good.

Our family have always shopoed at Blacktail grocery since it opened as we enjoy the convenience of a 'local' grocery who employs folks from the community where I have owned a home for 61 years. Sure it might be a little more expensive for this and that but do you really want to go to Kalispell and leave this beautiful place just to save a few bucks, then there is your time and gas and real exposure to many.others during this pandemic.However, the checker whose bandana is loosely fitted and does nothing to protect me is unacceptable. When I suggested it was of no value to his health, he replied 'I am obligated to wear it'.My point? His attitude does nothing good for my health nor other shoppers. And the reality is I feel unsafe in my little hometown grocery.There are few reasons to not wear a mask, period. The CDC suggests the only pardon that is not a fraudulent claim why one should not wear a mask medically speaking is if you have a serious lung disease that requires full oxygen to live. Please, we are under a mask mandate because we care about others. This isn't about your supposed 'obligation'. Do what's best for all.Lisa P.

Small but you'll find plenty of choices there. Also I found some good deals on fruits, vegetables and meat. Has a feel of a small town store yet there is great variety of food. Generally is not cheaper than bigger stores though.

This is a great little market and a very small town. Even though it's the only game in town it still has a good selection of products and of course hometown friendly service. Highly recommended! 👍

Last 2 times I went I was disappointed. Bought hamburger meat, went to cook it and it smelled terrible spent 7$ had to throw it out, bought chicken broth and seal was broken. Was afraid to use it and the older white hair lady was extremely rude. I will not be returning. Prices was too high anyway

Blacktail Family Foods does an exceptional job with service and supply. The location is very convenient to the west shore area. The staff are exceptionally friendly and wonderful to do business with. They are striving towards a more organic produce section, like their local tomatoes and apples!

If I could I'd give this place 0 stars. If you want a box of macaroni you're looking at spending $3 a box, one box! It's totally worth it to drive to Kalispell. I believe most locals would agree.

Looks bigger from the outside, and they have a kid's 25 cent ride out front that must be from the 70s..cute..inside smells so good from the deli gals cooking...small two register store, little pricey but it's the only grocery store within miles .Girls were nice...

The bakerys food is always cold. I don't think they realize a steam table for holding food needs to have water in it to work... The staff have no idea how to work their own cash registers.

Prices are high, but it is a convenience market. Owners and staff are always friendly and most are long term employees, which says a lot. We go there weekly.
