We stayed only one night at Travelodge but it was a great start to our week in Yellowstone. Gardiner was a very charming town (we liked it a lot more than West Yellowstone!) and the hotel itself had amazing views of the park! The room was incredibly clean and it was surprisingly quiet at night even though there were many other guests. The hotel had very minimal offerings, more like a motel, but you have to understand what you’re signing up for when visiting Yellowstone. It still had vending machines and ice and a fridge in our room, with shared microwave access and a small store in the main office with snacks and drinks. Gardiner is very small and it’s very remote! We would definitely stay at Travelodge again in any future visits!

Everything but the views.Look, I know how this sounds, but I feel like I have to write a review like this, I try not to be that guy, but the ac didn't work, even on the lowest setting it just constantly ran with slightly warmer than outside temp. The shower was extremely slippery and our shower squealed with an annoyingly loud sound that wouldn't stop.Day shift was super cool, super nice, and super friendly, but we mostly interacted with night shift that felt like we were a bother while she constantly had wireless headphones in.We also were not told about house keeping only happening on the 3rd day, and by request only, and that it had to be done by 7 am (not an ideal time while trying to relax on vacation)The views were incredible, but the room left a lot to be missed. On top of that, one of my travel buddies had worms in their rooms while the others had the same problems except the shower squeal. The coffee was great and always stocked

During my recent stay at the lovely Travelodge by Wyndham Gardiner Yellowstone Park North Hotel, I was delighted to discover the exceptional kitchen facilities provided in my room. The fully equipped kitchenette exceeded my expectations, offering a wide array of kitchen utensils that were essential for preparing delightful meals. The kitchenette featured pots, pans, knives, and various cooking utensils. This comprehensive selection made it effortless to create a variety of dishes, from simple recipes to more elaborate culinary creations. I truly felt like I had everything I needed at my fingertips. The electric stove in the kitchenette was a dream to use. Its modern design and efficient functionality allowed me to adjust temperatures accurately, ensuring perfectly cooked meals every time. The stove's reliability and ease of use truly enhanced my cooking experience.Furthermore, the presence of a spacious refrigerator and freezer in the kitchenette was a fantastic convenience. It provided ample space to store perishable ingredients, leftovers, and even frozen goods. I appreciated how well-maintained and clean the refrigerator was, and the freezer was perfect for keeping ice cream and other frozen treats at just the right temperature. The layout of the kitchenette was thoughtfully designed, with plenty of counter space for meal preparation. The abundance of cabinets and storage options allowed me to keep my cooking area organized and clutter-free. I felt like I had my own mini culinary haven within my hotel room. The availability of these outstanding kitchen amenities made it a joy to cook my own meals throughout my stay. I relished the freedom and flexibility to enjoy home-cooked lunches, delicious dinners, and hearty breakfasts, all within the comfort of my hotel room. Not only did it provide a cost-effective alternative to dining out, but it also allowed me to savor the flavors I love and maintain my preferred dietary choices. The location is in close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, making it a convenient and ideal place to stay for exploring the park's attractions, including the famous Old Faithful geyser, which approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away from the Old Faithful geyser.I wholeheartedly recommend Travelodge by Wyndham Gardiner Yellowstone Park North Hotel to fellow travelers who appreciate the convenience and comfort of having a well-equipped kitchenette in their accommodations. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness in providing such amenities truly set this hotel apart. Whether you're a seasoned cook or simply enjoy the pleasure of preparing your own meals, this hotel's kitchen facilities will exceed your expectations.

Expensive for what it is like most hotels in the area being north entrance to yellowstone.Super slow check in. One person working. I booked online so mine should have been quick but going through motions with other guest checking in slowed me down.No breakfast which was expected just a knock on expensive for what they are.Like other reviews I agree shower-head makes squeaky noise. If looking for quick breakfast ideas the grocery store/“market” right up the road sells hot pre made breakfast sandwiches and wraps.

One night here after a visit in Yellowstone turned into 3 days due to the massive flooding. It was a wild situation, but the staff rose to the occasion. My 3 kids and I were incredibly grateful to be safe and taken care of here while we were stranded. Free coffee was wonderful, until the water was deemed unsafe to drink. The front desk and the cleaning staff worked their butts off and did a great job. I'd totally come back and stay again. Once the road to Yellowstone opens... :-(

We had an excellent experience. They were extremely clean and took extra care due to Covid. We arrived too late for anything to be open and we were directed to the Super 8 which is a sister hotel to buy some frozen dinner and ice cream bars. That was an excellent resource. They had a great grab and go breakfast bag of a few items to get our day started. The linens were nice but the beds were a little too soft for our preference but I know many prefer softer beds. Great mini fridge with an actual separate freezer which was great when we needed to refreeze our water bottles. They were sustainable as well with a water fill up station in the office and the shampoo, conditioner, and soap in dispensers in the shower. Overall excellent hotel.

Not a bad hotel in itself. Staff is friendly and breakfast is fine. Room is small but big enough. Beds are of medium quality but this is always very personal. The shower has a fan that switches on when the light is being made and it is really very loud. The air conditioning makes a lot of noise and therefore the night is less quiet than normal. The rooms are also very obedient and if you are a light sleeper then I do not recommend this hotel. A big advantage is that the distance to Yellowstone NP is less than 5 minutes.

Room didn't have a microwave. Bathroom's toilet paper holder only had 5 squares of toilet paper left. Thankfully, a full toilet paper roll was provided. Bathroom's facial tissue container only had 2 facial tissues left. We understand being frugal, but if customers, especially tourists, doesn't know how to change the toilet paper roll in the toilet paper holder, you're risking having items break, just to try and save 5 squares of toilet paper and 2 facial tissues.

This was a nice hotel..no issues here at all..beautiful location...and the water for shower was unbelievable, they must of had a great water filter system....we travel over 8 states and this was one of the best hotels ...and if you need a decent breakfast try the buffet down the street overlooking the river..Rooms: Rooms were clean and nice..had everything you needed...

This was a great find! My 1st visit to Yellowstone and I needed 4 nights of reasonable stay. The town of Gardiner was a great choice and picking the Travelodge was a lucky choice. This Hotel is located above the street level and my room was on the 3rd floor! I have issues with steps and was very concerned at check-in but the elevator worked consistently every time. Th. ere was no community breakfast but the Hotel provided a grab and go bag that I appreciated which had an individually wrapped muffin, a fruit cup, a yogurt cup, and a bottle of water. Every day, at 6:30AM! Wonderful! I rated this amenity with 5 big stars. Another great amenity of this Hotel was the in room refrigerator, which had a freezer unit! I ranked this amenity with another 5 big stars. When you are picnicking your way thru Yellowstone, you appreciate having frozen water bottles in your pack to keep your stuff cool!My cable TV was the perfect size and provided me with consistent entertainment. I had Direct TV. Great channel selections! I watched an entire 1 hour Adam and Eve Commercial about sex toys on discount! I know very little about how to use these things! Now I know a little more.My room offered me a fantastic view of the Yellowstone Mountains in the distance from right outside my doorway. I shared a common balcony with everybody else on the 3rd floor so security freaks will not like this setup, but I travel with no valuables, so I did not use the in-room safe that was provided, for an additional $2.00 per night! My room was equipped with an excellent A/C that was located on the opposite side of the room from the bed. Nice! I hate A/C blowing directly on me. Do you need A/C when visiting Yellowstone in late August? Yes, you do! I am a hiker, and I was hot, sweaty, and exhausted by the time I returned from the Park. I appreciated that my room was cooled down to 68 degrees when I opened the door! And the AC unit was 5 star quiet, too! Letting me sleep undisturbed. My room had 2 queen beds but no place to eat! Nothing! I had to set up the 2nd bed as a dining table. Not good!My bed was very comfortable, for me. I like a stiff mattress. I did not like the tiny, over-stuffed pillows! My head keeps rolling off these things! The bathroom had a great power exhaust system that rid the space of steam and stench efficiently. The bathtub/shower unit was a custom fit unit that got the job done. Hot water was hot enough. The step over was manageable for my limited flexibility. There was a grab bar for help getting in, but no help getting out. The toilet was a problem for me. It was so low that my feet went asleep as I did my thing. (Why do hotels do this? Don't more senior citizens travel than little freaking children?)The bathroom space had excellent light and the counter space was an excellent, deep solid surface amenity, fronting a great full mirror! I rated the bathroom with another 5 stars. My room had no microwave. So to heat up take out from the restaurants in town, you needed to visit another room where there was a microwave. This room was also equipped with tables and chairs, and with internet. Usually I heated up my meal and ate in this room while I answered my email! My room was equipped with a leisure chair that was very comfortable and it slid out to the balcony easily for a relaxing view of the sunset.Summary- this hotel was great! I hope to return. Staff was very friendly. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was weak but it was included! Breakfast bags were included. Convenient parking was included (and 1 block above Gardiner's major street for added security). It had an elevator and a breakfast room with a microwave, and an in room refrigerator with freezer. I hope that you do not read this and decide to compete with me for my next reservation.Happy Travels!

Clean room, attentive staff, nice view of mountain, everything in the room worked properly. Liked the bag and go breakfast because of covid. No trash in parking lot. Close to town. They had coffee in the lobby. No complaints. If I go back to that area I will stay there again. Price was very good for such a nice room. Good job to the staff

Clean room, but no microwave. Beds weren't very comfortable and the blinds let in too much light. Great view from the top floor though. The breakfast was ok and had different offerings each morning. Staff was very friendly and willing to help with questions about where to eat.

This was a nice respite after many days off travel and a few days at in the park cabins. We got the two bedroom suite which is more like a full apartment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Now mind you this is Gardiner Montana, so everything is relative and the finishes are NOT high end. Just clean without plenty of room. For us, was a great couple nights stay for our family.

DO NOT STAY! Me and my family stayed here last night and it was a nightmare. There were 2 men on the floor above us making so much noise in the middle of the night. Multiple people complained. This went on for 2 hours until the cops finally escorted the men off the property. On top of this our door didn’t lock and our shower didn’t drain. After talking to management the next day there was nothing done to compensate us for the inconvenience. I would recommend pay the extra $50 and stay somewhere nicer.

Pathetic experience, their internt doesn't connect on my mac, no breakfast even though they advertise it. The service people are rude. Adding to that wonderful experience, I couldn't check-in to my room because the card wasn't working. They had to reprogram the card reader that took 20 mins. Never coming back here again. Way overpriced for the location and the whole view of the mountains is blocked by another lodge in front of the building.

We booked a room for a single Queen bed, however once in the room, it seemed as though the bed was more of a Double. Did NOT fit 2 people at all, it was hard and uncomfortable. The room was shaped weird, and the bathroom light stopped working properly mid evening. The shower was awkward shaped and the tub floor was extremely slippery, so much so that I had to hold onto the railing the ENTIRE time, in order to not fall.I've got 6 years experience of working in Hotels. Personally & Professionally, I would NOT recommend staying there, unless you like overpaying for the WORST bed ever.

1st of all their whole town is Run down and sad. On a visit to Yellowstone every hotel is charging at least 3 times what their lodgings are worth. This particular hotel charges $250 for what is at best an $80 room. It is not Particularly clean and it is quite dark. All the hotels in the area are charging whatever they can because no one in the area has any other choice. I would do anything to avoid this town and this hotel and this whole scene were it possible. This town is the definition of a tourist trap. Coming from the North , from Livingston Montana you have at least a 58 mile drive. If you're leaving the park, you're already really tired and have driven on very difficult roads only to arrive in this drab town. Unfortunately there are no other choices around Yellowstone, however if one could arrange to stay within the park at 1 of the lodges you could probly avoid this whole scene.

An overpriced, outdated motel. But at least it's about a mile from Yellowstone ,6.The refrigerator wasn't clean. I had to clean the shower wall and bathroom sink. The manager was considerate enough to take a bit off the price and gift us postcards.

Well for one the room is not equipped with a cooling system in the front of the suite. We were hot and the bedroom part was awesome ..great bed and A/c...so i had the fan blowing towards the front for my children to cool off and it worked until we stepped out for a little bit and can back hot from our hike only to find someone came in our room and turned everything off and it was hot in the room yet again. Pointless..ugh !.. the breakfast was ok in a pinch. Could serve real eggs though. ....its overpriced because of being a tourist attraction not many options left to choose from ...if i ever come back this way i definitely will not be staying here unless they change a few things...its has alot of nice amenities but could stand to change how the room is setup

Perfect hotel, good breakfast, good price and very kind employee at the front desk. They also have a dining room at each floor with a microwave owen to reheat your own meal. Elevator available and especially useful when you have heavy suitcases. Coffee and tea available at all time at the main entrance.
