Gardiner is such a great town. We enjoy coming here. It is our favorite place to visit. We came up to see the Lighting of the Teepees, so we walked around and did some shopping, ate dinner, and finished it off with ice cream. We love the food truck area on the corner. It has great selections of food and live entertainment at certain dates and times. The bathrooms at the Chamber of Commerce area are open until midnight, and they are really clean.

Gardiner, MT is a wonderful town immediately adjacent to the entrance into Yellowstone via Livingston/Paradise Valley and thru the famous Roosevelt Arch. This charming little town is full of friendly locals who patiently deal with us tourists who ask them the same questions. Year after year ! When I was there yesterday there were plenty of beautiful elk in town. Amazing! But the best part to me was the Visitors Bureau. Rustic decor, lots of helpful maps and brochures. Free ! ( my favorite four letter word ). Also, clean restrooms. A necessity, am I right ?! Maria, the delightful and helpful young gal at the desk was wonderful. A valuable and irreplaceable employee, I'm sure. Thanks again for your help

Definitely the one place to go when you want to get the lowdown on where to go and what to do once you finally make your official arrival into Yellowstone[N.P.]country.Definitely make a stop around and ask .The people around here...are very HELPFUL;indeed 🤝

We encountered price gouging in the extreme! $256.00 for a room at Super 8, when anywhere else in the region we stayed, a similar room was $95.00 to $120.00. Two hamburgers with fries totaled $56.00. Most restaurants near our motel were closed on the Father’s Day Sunday. The burgers were mediocre. We understand the pandemic hit tourism hard last year but this is excessive price gouging to recover lost income. I will not recommend staying in Gardiner to anyone I know.

The Gardiner Chamber of Commerce is an incredible asset for anyone who visits the north entrance of Yellowstone park. They’re located right on Park Street next to all the other businesses so they are very convenient and have lots of information about the area.
