Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The waiting room is comfortable with popcorn, coffee, tv and WiFi. I had an appointment for maintenance and was finished in a reasonable time.

We had such a great experience with Sidne at Jim Taylor Chevrolet! We did everything online and over the phone. We even traded another truck but but did the exchange in Helena which is way closer to home for us. Would definitely recommend no matter where you live in Montana. They deliver!

Fantastic help getting a recall completed that Bison Ford wouldn't return calls to have completed. Was it a pain to have to send it out of town? Normally yes, but Amber inthe Service Department made getting this recall done smooth and easy!! I have been recommending anyone I can to them because of this great experience! Thanks for picking up the slack that other "dealers" couldn't complete!

Thought I was outta of a truck when GM decided to recall and buy back my truck I had built back in Nov of 21 from another dealership(As it sat at the rail yard from Mar 22 tell 14 Apr 22) Started a quick search on the old web and came across this 2022 Chevy 2500 HD at Taylor’s. Figured I would give them a jingle and ask. Talked with Chad, on of the sales people there and he gave me the news I needed. (Didn’t have to put anything down) As soon as I told him I wanted it, he put it on hold for me. Showed up the next morning at 9 and out the door at 11. Couldn’t be more happier!!Amazing team up at Taylor’s in Fort Benton. 👍👍

Sydney Jaynes went way beyond what a normal car salesperson would do to get us a new truck. The whole staff made our purchase so much easier. Was on fishing trip and check engine light came on flashing. Called to see if they could get me in to see what was wrong. Long story short they checked the problem and fixed it in short time and we were able to hit the evening bite! Very kind and courteous staff all around! If you’re ever in Fort Benton and need a car or a mechanic I would highly recommend stopping in! They turned a bad day around for us with smile! Cheers and thank you!

Best place to buy a truck!!!!!! I have worked with many dealerships. I know for most it is a fight to get in and out. They want to have you take about all the warranties and extras you can buy.Not Jim Taylor Motors. They are straight and to the point. I walked in after discussing this purchase over text and calls. To the truck for a test drive. Walked in handed them a check and walked out. No tricks no gimmicks. Paul made it easy. I drove 9 hours to get this truck and I will do it again, just to get away from the dealers around me that want to sell me blinker fluid.

Posting for my mother. Jim Taylor Motors screwed over a lady trying to support LOCAL business. They are not a champion level business, and need to be looked into for being corrupt. Do better.My experience with Jim Taylor Motors in Fort Benton has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a vehicle from them, only to find out it was a ticking time bomb. An inspection elsewhere revealed a litany of problems: phasers, a leaking pinion seal, a transmission in dire need of flushing, defective fog light wiring, a leaky windshield, and a broken mirror, all of which required costly repairs. When I brought these issues to the attention of Mike Schneider, the salesperson, his response was to blame me for not purchasing a warranty and suggest that I should only trust their service department.Travis in the service department initially appeared concerned, but he failed to provide the promised inspection report. They assured me they'd fix the tailgate, only to send me a few superficial parts and a conveniently lost check. Mike Schneider's sales pitch about their small-town reputation turned out to be a cruel joke. This experience has left me feeling deeply cheated and profoundly disrespected. Jim Taylor Motors not only sold me a lemon but failed to stand behind their promises.

I will never support anything Jim Taylor in Fort Benton. They are con artists and never have a straight forward answer. Had issues with my vehicle I purchased from them since 3 days after I took it home. Was assured they would fix my problems. Was told that Ford can't look up past codes coming up for check engine light coming on. Which was coming on intermittently from day three to today 3 months after purchase. I scanned the code and told them what it was saying. They couldn't fix it unless they checked it themselves. A month later I was in Fort Benton when it came on again and rushed right over so they could fix it. Was told it was the code I told them it was and they would order the part and fix it. Two months later when I hadn't heard anything and other things on the car were coming up, was assured they would call me as soon as the part came in. I switched the battery out with a new one after having the vehicle for two months, it wouldn't start as I only had 4 volts in the battery. Was told that 4 volts is a very good battery and I shouldn't have any issues with it. More lights coming up and vehicle has now lost its 4 wheel drive and advanced trac. I went to another Ford dealership as my codes were coming up intermittently again. The new dealership checked my vehicle with their Ford specific scanner and it pulled up 18 codes that had been popped in the last 3 months. Jim Taylor had told me that this wasn't possible. I called Jim Taylor later that day to get my warranty information and was told it wasn't my responsibility to check out my warranty the dealership had given me the best deal. After a long talk I was finally given my warranty information and the phone number to call if I had questions about what the warranty covered. I had called the number as soon as I hung up with Jim Taylor, the phone number I was given was only for roadside assistance. Two months to the day after they "ordered" the sensor that needed fixed they called to schedule an appointment. I declined as I already have an appointment with another dealership to take care of all the cars issues. The sales rep wanted me to call and tell them why I had declined. I called and let them know how angry I was to get the run around and putting my life and my children's lives in jeopardy with this vehicle that has so many things wrong with it. I started listing all the codes that came up and needed fixed, at this point I was told they were done and was hung up on.This is by far the worst place I have ever bought a new or used vehicle from. They lack communication and any knowledge about how their products run. There was a huge dent in the tailgate before I signed papers buying it. When it was brought to the dealerships attention, they had no idea what I was talking about, but they could give me some paint to cover the mar.It was my mistake to trust this small town proud dealership. I would take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! On my journey home from Colorado to Alberta, I ended up with 2 blown out tires just outside Fort Benton. I got my vehicle towed to Jim Taylor Motors and everyone was SO kind and helpful. Mike got me booked in and back on the road with a fresh set of rubber as quickly as him and his team could.The people of Fort Benton are without a doubt the some of most kind hearted and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I am very impressed with my recent dealings with Chad and Paul at Jim Taylor Motors in Fort Benton. They were very helpful and straightforward in helping me work through my issues and truly a pleasure to work with.I greatly appreciated their willingness to work with me and how simple they have made it be for me to get my new truck.I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.Also, got to visit with the owner for a bit which was awesome.I love my GMC trucks and am really looking forward to the new truck.

We had a check engine light come on when we were traveling from Florida to Alaska. The big Great Falls dealerships would not schedule us for 2 weeks! Mike Schneider, the owner, brought us right in and had us on the road the next day. Superior service and friendly staff.

This small car dealership was perfect in every way. Great communication with both Chad and Paul who diligently worked to get me into my vehicle quickly and secured all of the necessities for a smooth and quick transaction. Maybe too quick though. Unfortunately I left the dealership minus one very important document that I only caught once I returned home, which is very far away. I’ve been assured that I now have everything that we executed throughout the transaction and I think I’m all good now. At least I hope so.

I came in to Jim Taylor Motors on a whim after looking at a Chevy Colorado online. Paul Helling helped me out and made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. Overall a great experience and true small town Montana hospitality. I’ve shared my experience with friends and family already and would definitely recommend a stop here. Very happy that I drove to Fort Benton instead of going to another dealership.

I cannot say enough good things about Jim Taylor Motors! Nick answered all the questions he could before I made the two hour drive to Fort Benton. It was SO worth the trip. The teamwork and mutual respect between the sales and financing staff was evident, and I was very comfortable with the process. In the end, I received more than I'd expected to on my trade, and they found a crazy number of incentives, all with the aim of getting me into the vehicle I wanted, at the monthly rate I was comfortable paying. I have purchased 2 new vehicles there in the past few years. Nothing wrong with sales. They do not have a parts department and service is cheaper if you just don't go there. Go anyplace else. Oil change and brakes took 2 days because they didn't have parts. We are 1.5 hours away. $780 bill. $70 to diagnose the brakes we said are bad. Takes 36 minutes to see brakes are worn out? Stock no parts. Had to wait a day to get parts in after they tore it apart. I will recommend to anyone to keep driving if you need work done, safer and cheaper. Edit: They actually destroyed the rear brakes. Parking brakes would lock up. $1600 in parts to repair it all. It is like they never put in service mode and forced the calipers back in so hard it even bent the mounts.

I just started to look for a vehicle, a friend sent me a pic from Jim Taylor Motors. It was a vehicle I was interested in. I was at work so I was going to leave a message in hopes I would hear something by morning. Much to my surprise, I received a message back from Chad Buck, it's around midnight and he is telling me about the vehicle. I got off work that morning, and my friend that purchased a truck from there said they are really awesome to deal with. We headed to Fort Benton, and I ended up with the vehicle I was interested in. Chad was so accommodating in helping me with my purchase . I would highly recommend Chad and Jim Taylor Motors. Well worth the extra time to drive up from Great Falls!

The communication from Nick, our sale consultant, was frequent, prompt and always courteous. Since we do not live in Fort Benton, I was a little worried about making this kind of purchase long distance but I couldn't be happier with the service I received!

Everyone there was knowledgeable, professional, and not pushy. Plus we had our three kids in there with us and everyone in the office was great with them and tolerant of the adolescent antics. If auto dealers in the bigger towns could learn to behave like this they would sell more cars and be less disliked. Overall I was very happy with the experience and hope to deal with them in the future.

They forced me to bring my truck to them after I had bought the truck from them I had a mechanic look it over and it had a manifold problem and filter cleaning issue my mechanic was going to fix it but they said not to but to bring it back to them so I did they have had my truck for two weeks now cause there technicians can’t do the work so they sent my truck to another mechanic cause they couldn’t do the work so I will not be useung Jim Taylor motor again for any of my work they have very little customer service and when you call them out on it they deflect. Would not recommend at all as a small business owner myself

Worked over the phone with Sydne before making the drive up. Vehicle was clean and in great condition as shown. Gave me a great deal on my trade too. The vehicle I purchased qualified for the lifetime power train warranty. First oil change and tire rotation complimentary. Staff is friendly and willing to work with you. I would recommend this dealer to others and will do business with them in the future. It was well worth the drive!
