4/29/23Enter through The Celtic Ranch, this store is located directly in the back. Fantastic selection of bourbon, gin as well as other premium liquor.Some sampling is available. I found a couple bottles of bourbon I'd been searching for. Very friendly helpful service. Extremely reasonable prices. There is seating on main level or up the cool spiral staircase. Don't miss this stop when visiting Weston.

Really cool place in Weston. Whiskey Snug entrance is around the back of the building. Downstairs is the store, upstairs is a bar and tables and lockers for those that are members. Music on certain nights. Great vibe. Spiral staircase to get upstairs.

Had a great time visiting the Snug. We did a tasting of whiskeys then spent a good 30 minutes learning a ton from the bartender.This store has the largest selection of scotch whisky that you’ll find anywhere near Kansas / missouri. Lots of hard to find stuff in there.I only wish I lived closer to enjoy the store more.Super friendly staff, great facility, would go back again.

Went here with our friends after becoming newly parents. Our friends had never been to Weston before so we were excited to show them around. Upon entering we were stopped and told “only 21 years or older”. At first I thought they were kidding since we had infants, but they were not kidding. We then asked if it was the babies or the strollers that we’re not allowed, To which they response with, “both, people who pay for babysitters don’t want to hear your babies crying”. 😬 our babies were not crying and we were stopping for a quick drink. Couldn’t have felt less welcomed.

I wanted to like it, I really did. We had 6 of us visit on a Saturday night. It was busy but not crazy busy. The barkeep seemed to be less than enthusiastic. We stood at the counter for about 6 minutes waiting for him to wait on us. It appeared that if you are not a member you get a much reduced level of service. The atmosphere and selection of whiskey was impressive but the service and attitude of the barkeep not so much. I can find friendlier places to buy my whiskey.

Was visiting Weston with some friends and stumbled upon the Whiskey Snug. The owner was extremely friendly and happy to talk about bourbon. Was able to pick up a really nice store pick. Will definitely be back.

Visit was excellent! I got to try so many whisk(e)y's that I've wanted to try... The owner, Terry I think, introduced me to Ardbeg Corryvreckan with a little sample as I was telling her that I was afraid of drinking Islay Scotch. Great experience, I would highly recommend to anyone in the area....

I have never been treated so poorly at a bar as I was at this bar, being a woman myself and by a woman that is also the owner. She questioned me and and my girlfriends as we were going upstairs to meet my husband that was already up there. We were addressed as “woman” and asked what we were doing as we were heading up the stairs. I told her that my husband was up there already and we were meeting up with him. A little bit later, she questioned me and my girlfriend’s again, as my husband was not sitting in his seat at the table at the time, and was standing near the table talking to someone else. We again said we were there with my husband. I asked her if it was because I was a woman, and she rolled her eyes, said she was an owner, and walked away. Also, our waitress addressed my husband by his name directly, but did not address any of the rest of us by our names. They only paid attention to when he needed a refill, as there were 4 women in my group with 1 man. I have no desire to go back there ever again, as they only try to cater to their male customers.

I love The Snug so much that I joined as a member. Fantastic selection of Scotch, Irish, and American whiskeys, plus a selection from other countries. The staff is top-notch and super with respect to making recommendations. Really nice selections of gins, too. Definitely worth a visit if you are into these spirits.

I visit the Snug each time I visit Weston. This is the coolest place, with the most excellent service given by Mike. If you are an avid fan of whiskey, you must check it out. Enjoy something rare, or try a flight. Rye, Bourbon, Irish Whiskey, Scotch - and choose how steep of a price you want to pay for these flights. I thoroughly enjoy everything about the Whiskey Snug! I do not believe this Is handicap accessible. There is a gender neutral restroom.

Woman behind the counter in the whiskey tasting area was rude. My mother in law started up the spiral staircase to see what was upstairs and the older woman with the colored hair goes, “WHATCHA DOING OVER THERE?” I spoke up on her behalf and explained she wanted to see what was upstairs. She then explained it was too full, very rudely I might add. I’m sorry to say that EVERY STORE IN WESTON was rude like this. I will not be giving them my money anymore if they want to be rude like this

It's hidden at the back of a trinket store. You'll miss it if you are looking for a street entrance. It's like a Toy's R Us for adults, but with whiskey instead of toys.
