It’s a ok place to go to for farm supplies. Tractor supply is extremely high. Only thing is bout half of the time. The price on the shelf isn’t right. Seems like for example if something was $3.59 on the shelf it be $4.50 at the register. So you have to pay attention and they won’t price check. And some check out girls especially one of them is lazy. Was asking a question and you could tell before I finished my sentence. She wasn’t going to help. Cause it involved her having to move of that chair she was sitting on. The men there i haven’t had any issues. Just a few females that are lazy. But there is one older lady there grey headed. She’s the best. But they get so much business they don’t care if you don’t come back. The one in Thayer Mo now that place 5 stars all the way.

They are always changing workers so they will have to train them so it will take 20 mins to order a couple bags of feed but other than that they are mostly very kind and knowledgeable

If you're needing farm or critter equipment or feed, this is the place. Also the only place we have found that carry the dog food we buy in #40 bags.

Purchased a transfer tank for over $1,000 and put it all in and 74 gallons later it’s got 2 leaks . The leaks are behind the angle piece’s . It’s a JOBOX so I wouldn’t have thought the weld quality would be this poor. Hirsch is a great place , but the JOBOX is trash and the only reason I put a review here is , because this is where I purchased this overpriced tank combo .

Always friendly and knowledgeable staff at the West Plains store. Have always had great service.I recently had an incident with them trying to get 10 8 foot T-posts sent up from the Thayer store (they had 300 on hand)since they were out of stock at the West Plains store. For three straight weeks (6 trucks) the Thayer store, on the phone with the West Plains store where I could hear, said they would be on the next truck everytime the posts weren't on the previous load. Finally, after six trucks and three weeks, I called the Thayer store.I was polite and cordial to the owner when I spoke to him and explained to him the situation. He sounded polite but yet he was coming up with excuses like, "it's hot outside," "my hired help is not doing their jobs right" and "I'm short handed." He even went as far as to tell me I was wrong on how long it had been taking and his voice quivered in doing so. These are pretty weak excuses when six trucks had other items come up from the Thayer store over that three weeks. Every single employee at the West Plains store I dealt with (about six or seven) over this time frame acted like they weren't one bit surprised. Kudos to the staff and service at the West Plains store.Two thumbs down to how the owner handled the situation. Now, I try to get as much from MFA as possible before going to Hirsch's.

I used to get great service for pickup but here lately when I pay, they lose my ticket and end up shorting me product.I don't feel like I should have to call and tell them I need a receipt as proof that I received what I paid for, but that is what I had to do. They are supposed to look at the receipt to fill the order, not guess.

I buy a lot of my chicken feed and products for my chickens here as well as some dog treats. Also my blue jeans as they are reasonably priced and they have my size which is rare. Pretty much my go-to store for about everything

Does anyone else egg mash smell like sawdust? Curious because our chickens used to eat it, no problem, but now they won't touch it...It looked different too not the same color as normal...I smelled of it and it smells like saw dust. I've been seeing alot of videos of people having problem with their feed.

I cannot give a high enough rating. We have been doing business here for 15 or so years. Excellent customer service is an understatement. My husband buys many supplies for his small business and our farm here at Hirsch. I called yesterday to find a missing receipt for our taxes. The gentleman who helped me emailed me a copy within 5 minutes! (I did give him our name, date and amount on receipt-all the info I had.) They are closed Sundays, which is slightly inconvenient sometimes, but I can honor that. :)

Nice store, good selection, friendly staff, fair prices. I'm not happy about dogs in the store or any store. I have no problem with service dogs. I own 5 big dogs and I wouldn't bring them into the confined space of the isle's. My dogs are protective of me and I'm sure other dogs are the same with their owners.
