These guy are awesome. Really like the dude who's been there forever. Super helpful, and friendly. Amazing prices on live plants, they have tons of different animals, hedgehogs, birds, reptiles, ferrets, bunnies, mice, things that look like mice, hamsters, snails, crabs, shrimp, newt and newt like things, I seen Venus fly traps in there the other week. Heck, they even have freshly made human snacks up by the counter for sell. I enjoy every visit. Didn't plan on buying anything today, but the deal I got for the live plants I asked about, how could I not spend a little lol can't wait to go back again!

Great experience, we just adopted a bearded dragon and the staff help us navigate what we needed and what we definitely did not need - saving us a lot of 💵. Had a big variety on fish, turtle, snake and lizard supplies. They also had guinea pigs rabbits, and other rodents. Next time we are bringing our daughter to see all the different animals!

This is the best Aquarium store. I travel 1 hour to shop.Wide selection of fish, planted aquarium supplies and at affordable prices.I started my hobby while stationed in Germany and this store reminds me of the family owned shops there.Shop at Fishland.

Small space with alot of inventory. I did feel sorry for some of the creatures but that's just me. Lol. The owner/operators were fantastic help and easy to talk to. We plan on using fiahland for all our future needs! Crabs, hamsters and fish. Those are our animals. They've got everything from snakes, lizards, bunnies, rats, all kinds of creatures that live in cages.

I've gotten several pets from here and they are the best place to go. They are super friendly very knowledgeable and will work with you on anything. And they have such a wide variety of animals. From fish to hermit crabs.

The reviews must all be from locals. From out of town this place is horrendous. Seriously it’s atrocious how they keep this entire tiny tiny store. Not your average pet store. If you’re from this town I can see why you wouldn’t put a bad review. But pretty sure if it was reported, the conditions of this ‘pet store’ are insanely unhygienic..there’s many things wrong here. Very friendly people but the treatment and condition of the animals and close quarters is very worrisome and not even legal

Ive been going to fish land since it was a tiny little shop that shared building space with skate land years ago. They are always nice, animals are well cared for and I've not had one problem. The pricing is decent but with a small town and not a lot of money flow, it can be difficult for a person to own a pet.

At first I was overwhelmed by how much stuff they had and was excited..it was "better" than what we have in my hometown...but looking around there were spiderwebs EVERYWHERE.It was wet with no slip resistant mats and it smelled horrible as soon as you walked in.We got a pretty good deal (or so I thought). Upon returning home (1 hr there and 1 hr back) I noticed the stand was damaged as well as a chipped tank.Brought it back and was met with resistance and blamed us that we damaged it. It was hard enough to pay $400 for everything but then to not work with us until we b*itched enough.Probably won't go back.

Great hearted staff with Good sense of humor,Tanks sometimes have dead fish floating about, which isn't the greatest, but there few and far between, ( however I noticed our fish nibbling on each other after we purchased them from here... I think it gave them a taste for cannibalism 😱)Snakey is adorable!Store is suffering from what looks to be Black mold in the ceiling, and water damage on the wall.

I gave one star because I had to. Upon first glance and I didn’t expect much with it being a small town it was maybe worth 2 stars. However the reason we visited, was because we were considering between a hedgehog and a ferret. We had done extensive research and leaning a little more on the hedgehog side. My fiancé had never held one, and though we were ready for a different and more difficult kind of critter, she didn’t want to get one without knowing if she could handle the spines on it. So we went in hoping to let her get a feel to determine if it was the best choice for her. Mind you we have been saving for a pet and all it’s needs for a bit and we’re ready to spend quite a bit of money. She asked the guy there if she could carefully hold one because she was trying to make sure that it would not set in a cage and it would get the proper attention it needed. He was quite asinine and forceful as he declared “yea but you drop it you buy it!” She said okay, and then he stated it yet again even more rudely and aggressively. Fast forward, he totally freaked her out about it, she never held it and I was at that point quite irate. I told her we would take our money elsewhere and immediately drove home and then to petco in mountain home Arkansas where we dropped what would have been 1200 on 2 ferrets, all their toys, leashes, harnesses, habitat, food, treats and special sprays and care items they require. The people there were super nice, knowledgeable, supportive, let us get to know and hold each ferret to decide which two we wanted (because we know they are social creatures and didn’t want it to be without a friend.) Best yet we were able to get a care plan that dropped our over all payment to 900 and something and we are thrilled with our new pets. Store owners shouldn’t have unnecessary aggressiveness if they want to make sells and I will never go back to fishland again. As a matter of fact I was willing to drive the extra miles, use the extra gas, and stock up on all the necessities while we were at petco to avoid having to spend a single dime at that depressing fishland store with the owner who apparently was too good to be nice to his customers and try to make sure his customers were able to choose the right Pets for them. Like I said, one star only because I had to.

I’ve been in there twice getting fish for my kids and the staff was very friendly and helpful. One of our more expensive fish ($15) died the day after we got it and they replaced it without an issue. I will continue to try to give them my business when I need anything they have.

Gave 1 star because I had to! A week or so ago I bought 3 fish from this store and put them in my tank after letting them acclimate to the temperature of my tank. Over the last week all my fish died! ALL, including the ones I have had for the last 2 years! So I called the store to see what happened and talked with the manager who kept cutting me off and then blamed me for the fish dying stating that I should have monitored my ph and ammonia levels before and during the transition process. How rude and unprofessional! In the last 2 years that I have had my tank, never have I lost a fish, until I put the 3 fish from this store in the tank. Then the manager proceeds to pawn my call off on an employee to deal with! The employee was nice and understanding, however after being cut off and blamed for my tank issues from the manager I was done! The manager could have just reimbursed my $20 or helped me fix the issue and give me new fish but apparently he didn’t have the time or concern for my issue that he had to let an employee deal with my call! This is an unprofessional store manager with very poor communication. I would never recommend anyone buy anything from this store!! My daughter was devastated that her birthday beta died! She took care of that beta “Jack” for two years. The manager did not care!

I always love visiting Fishland. The people there are always friendly and polite, even if they're overrun with customers and helping out. The young men that work there are always smiling, willing to help, and very knowledgeable. The friendliest bunch of teenagers I've met in years. And the owners are simply amazing every time I encounter them. Again, always an amazing experience.

I have to say is is a awesomely family-oriented and family run pet store with very well bred animals very well maintained healthy stock being sold there and they guarantee them for a good limited time I give this place five stars because they are one of the best pet stores I've been to and I've been to 49 of the 50 states... I have shop at many pet stores I would say over 300 in my lifetime and this pet store has my absolute positive feedback for everything from pricing to the health the animals to the personality of the people they remember each and every one of their customers for who they are and what they come in for they treat you like your family!
