Since Joesph left a few months ago this place has been going downhill. There was a guy there after he left I think his name was Jon, who was helpful and knowledgeable but he didn't seem to be there very much. Then there was the new manager, Ben. He is very rude and condescending. For a dirty little store you would think the guy running the place should at least be polite. I have years of experience with aquarium keeping and every time I went in and he was there he would argue with me acting like I had no idea what I was talking about. I have heard that Ben is no longer there either but too little too late. The store itself is filthy, most of the hamsters and birds look horrible (only since Joesph left) and staff is unpleasant and misinformed.I used to frequent this business but will not go back after the trouble I have had and the general filth. I have not seen this business busy in the last few months but with the exception of the guy (Jon?) that isn't there much, I have NEVER seen anyone sweeping the floor or cleaning. If you doubt me, go in and look under the shelving or under the fish tanks. I will not use them ever again, if they don't take pride enough to clean what other corners are they cutting?

Was unimpressed by the care given to the animals and would only consider purchasing from store to save the animals. I found a lizard there whose cage was so filthy that the food in its food bowl was completely covered in MOLD. I was absolutely disgusted by how misinformed the employees are and how mishandled the animals are in the store. I would recommend purchasing only if you intend to rescue the animals, and would recommend a doctor visit after purchase

Very well informed people, will compare prices. I brought in a dr fosters and smith mag and they match the price plus only respectable salt water fish collecton in the area. And prices are usely very reasonable. Hours open are 10-6
