{Edit:I could not be more impressed and grateful to the staff here.I recently had to put my large male of 8 years to sleep and this was very hard for me.I had never had to do this before so was nervous concerning procedure and time allotted for my final moments with him.The staff members had made a blanket bed for him to be comfortable and were so sensitive and compassionate with me through the whole ordeal and kept assuring me to take as long as I needed to say goodbye both before and after procedure.They offered many treats to the “good boy” as I cried the entire time and were so comforting and tender with both of us as he passed.They even provided a clay mold of his paw along with a capsule containing a lock of fur for purchase which I found very sweet.Today I received a condolence card in the mail signed by the entire staff offering their sympathies and included ink prints of my boy’s paws and nose.I was beyond touched and cried.I have never heard of a clinic doing this let alone experienced it and definitely did not expect it.They truly go above and beyond. }Original ReviewThe staff here is so accommodating and will explore multiple budget-friendly care options for your pet without making you feel terrible for not automatically dropping $$$$ like other clinics I’ve been to.I shall not name names.Everyone is very friendly, empathetic, and so accommodating for special needs.My large dog is dog-reactive and though we’ve tried to wait in the waiting room for our appointment thinking it’ll just be a couple minutes, this is a great point of stress for me when wait times exceed 20 minutes and other pet owners assume your dog is friendly without asking and let theirs approach.I have since informed the staff that my dog cannot interact with other pets and they have cheerfully come out to my vehicle to administer his vaccination without a second thought.This relieves so much anxiety on both our parts and made vet visits a breeze.They also scheduled an xray during our appointment and squeezed him in an hour later for it to save me extra trips, requesting only that I leave for an hour for his medication to take effect.They are completely transparent on charges, cheaper options, healthier options, and medications or remedies that work just as well if not better than their variety even if it means less $$ for them.Very very happy with them

Healthy Pet Wellness Center is the best and most compassionate veterinary center my family and I have ever been to. They truly care for you and your pet. They treat you like family. Our last visit was very difficult, and we ended up having to euthanize our 15 year old cat Pixie. They gave us the full options and told us everything that could be done, but ultimately, we had to do what was best for our beloved fur baby. Healthy pet is our only choice for the health a d well being of our other family fur babies.. Great place..

I have been taking my pets here since they opened. My fur babies always get really good care, the prices are the best in town which is always good. Recently I lost my first dog, Jake since switching over to them and they were the most sincere and empathetic veterinarian I have ever experienced. They allow you alone time with your baby before putting them to sleep, they allow YOU to decide if you want to be there until the end, if you do they allow you time with your baby after. They never rushed us and gave us the time we needed. I chose to have my boy cremated, I received him back within a week in a nice box and inside a beautiful velvet like bag along with a card from the person that did the cremation. Then to top it off a week later I received a card in the mail (see pictures) never has a veterinary service gone above and beyond the way they did. I HIGHLY recommend their services! My fur babies will never go anywhere else.

I appreciate this vet immensely. They always treat my dogs so well and you can tell they really care about an animal’s well being. Vet care isn’t cheap anywhere and if you take on the responsibility of a pet, you gotta pay!Thank you for always taking care of my pugs 💕

I am from out of State and just passing through when I realized that my dogs were missing one vaccine if I was going to try to board them later on my trip. These folks here are so welcoming and accommodating! Since I was a walk in, I had to wait a little, which was to be expected, but the process was very swift and professional. The prices were also very reasonable. I will never forget the friendly smiling faces! I would recommend this facility to everyone.

Took my cat to be checked out for some skin irritation that wasn’t resolving itself. Staff was friendly, they were able to get me in the following week. Overall space was clean and taken care of. Affordable, even after needing two different medications. Would recommend.

Making the appointments was simple, I love the text reminders since life is busy, and it was even easier checking in the day of! After my dog’s first exam, she got home and managed to pinch a nerve. I called and they immediately had me come back in. I am so, so glad I chose Healthy Pet Wellness Center for my girls!

Yesterday, I received a letter in the mail from them with Lily’s paw and nose print which was PRICELESS. The staff of Healthy Pet Wellness Center is phenomenal! Always greeted with a smile when you walk in and gentle with our fur babies during exams. Also prices are affordable and you won’t wait long for an appointment.They have also been very supportive and went above and beyond during our loss of one of our four legged babies (pictured below). I've been here 2x and the staff and front desk ladies are awesome. Dr Perry didn't rush me at all with questions and seemed to really listen to my concerns with my puppy. I'll be fully switching over. The prices are much more reasonable than local vets in the area which is a plus. And overall just happy. The clinic is small and the waiting room is also small. Which may be the only downside to this clinic for anyone with maybe nervous or aggressive pups.

This place is beyond caring and loving!! They are very smart and willing to work with you and your pets needs! I have 3 dogs and my one is a rescue that had such a horrible abusive past (bait dog) ALL of the workers here took extra steps to make sure my dog felt as comfortable as possible the entire time adjusted things for her and never judged how reactive she is because of her past.... they are just as amazing to other dogs. I will never go to a different vet.... love them here!! And they are greatly priced,best prices around!

I have lived in Pulaski county for six years. I have been to a lot of vets, prior to finding Healthy Pet Wellness. I have always had a very pleasant appointment. Refills are a breeze! The staff are always kind and courteous. The doctors, on point! I feel that if I have a wait time, it is well worth it. We never know what the clients in the rooms are going through. I would want that person to have the best care for their pet, even if I wait a few minutes. You will not find another vet/staff in this area as compassionate as they are. Well worth it!

Moved across the country and needed a new vet. Had my first visit here today with my 17yr old kitty. Initially was supposed to be just a quick pain med injection for him until we could get in to establish care with a vet. He ended up having an issue with his eye to where he needed to be seen sooner, so I called to see if they had any same day appointments open so I could have a vet check it out. They were able to get us in as work-in this afternoon. Didn't have to wait long. Everyone was very nice, exam was simple and was able to get meds for his eye and his Solensia injection. Will definitely be going back with my other pets! Appreciated them for working with us and willing to keep my old boy on his injection to keep him comfortable.

About two weeks ago we had to put down a pet for the first time. We had our cat, Rocky, for about 14 years and it was so hard. The staff was so professional and compassionate with us. They explained everything so that we would know what to expect and gave us as much time as we needed with him. It was such a difficult experience and they did everything they could to make it as easy as possible for us. We even received a card from them with his paw print which wasn't expected but we absolutely loved. I am so grateful to the whole staff, thank you so much.

Horrible place to bring pets. We situated a time and place for an appointment and a payment plan. The day of the appointment the vet said we owed them money at that instant. (Please note they said previously that payment for the check up would be included in their first actual visit.) As well as they were very disrespectful about the situation. DO NOT BRING OR PLAN TO BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. There's much more wrong with this place that I can't fit in a Google review. They will do anything to milk you of money. And will order unnecessary procedures and tests to bring your bill up.Edit to the review and response to the owner: I was not present today but it does seem like you have more than one issue with this payment plan. Maybe revaluate your employees before making statements over the phone. I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Absolutely *LOVE* HPWC! There isnt another vet team around here that I would trust more. From losing our geriatric fur-baby to adopting a new one, they have been with us and provided the very best care for almost five years. Quality vet clinics are hard to find when you move often, so if you're looking for one, save yourself the time of shopping around & just go straight here.

The vet and technicians are nice, friendly, and helpful.The issue with this clinic is the wait time. 45 minutes for one appointment and 1 1/2 hours another visit. I think they’ve been on time, or close to it, one time in 5-6 visits. It’s exhausting to work all day, bring your dog in, and wait for an untold amount of time when your appointment was 30 minutes to an hour prior. I understand that things can come up, and delays are possible, but every time?It’s sad, because we do like the people at the clinic, but due to the consistent, long wait times, we just can’t keep going to this location.Edit: I’m in a profession familiar with getting home late, missing lunches, and working at home late into the night. I’m also in a profession familiar with major, nationwide shortages. All that aside, while the apology is appreciated, it’s extremely frustrating to also be in a high stress career and have more stress compounded by making an appointment months in advance only to have to leave without anything being done because you’re out of time, and people who have shown up after you are seen first.

Dr. Perry used to be my vet and I can safely say she is the best in the world. The boys(pups) and I have moved to Europe and I miss her all the time. It takes a lot for me to trust someone with my boys and she is definitely worthy. You can earn a lot more money in Europe if you want to pop over. The boys and I would appreciate it A LOT! You were out best vet ever.In response, age is just a number......come over...the Europeans need you! Prescription fees, just for the piece of paper, is about $15-25. You could retire early and my boys would keep their favourite vet ever.

The vet and staff are extremely helpful and kind. They were able to work out pet in last minute when she developed a cough. Even though apt times may run a bit behind, I can't imagine taking our guys anywhere else. The doc doesn't rush an apt, she ensures that your pet is well cared for and that you leave feeling that you were heard. Her bedside manner is simply amazing and kind. Her staff are the sweetest, and willing to lend a hand if you need to lift your 80 lb lap dog on to the table.

My wife and I are very new to the area and had not yet found a very we trusted prior to this incident. One of our three dogs started showing possible signs of a GI Bleed just before 4th of July weekend that made my wife and I very concerned and scared. Emergency vet in Springfield said it would be a 4-6 hour wait due to the holiday weekend upon arrival. Healthy Pet Wellness Center got us scheduled for the same day for an appointment 2 hours later. Doctors, nurses, and staff were very caring kept us informed the entire process. Thankfully was only inflammation in the bowels, but received medication and treatment that was very affordable and expedient. Thank you so much Team, we will definitely be bringing our other dogs here for regular check ups.

These folks are amazing!! They genuinely care about you and your pet and you can feel it from the very first visit!!We have a 13 year old dog and he's never been a fan of going to the vet, but honestly with Healthy Pet Wellness, he's been great with them and vice-versa.

I am switching both of my dogs to Healthy Pet Wellness Center.One of my dogs is very old and big. And we needed to get in right way. They fit me in in-between their appointments. They discussed all the options for my dog.They didn't rush me at all. And they were busy!Kind, compassionate, and passionate about animals. You can just see it by the way they treat animals. I have never found a vet that has made me feel so good.
