Extremely welcoming and friendly! They always have what I need and are always welcome to answering any questions I have! They actually care about the well being of animals! Helped me get the right equipment to properly care for my chameleon, showed me the options and thoroughly explained the difference in options. They are WAY more affordable than big chains like petco, for example, and they have a fairly decent sized selection. Not to mention they care and understand so much so that they have always given me a good discount on large purchases despite already being far more affordable. LOVE THIS PLACE!! Extremely thankful for their help!

We were looking for live feeder mice for our new ball python, and stumbled across this diamond in the ruff!! This place is amazing. Not only are the owners knowledgeable about all their critters, they are also so helpful in setting up everything you need for them. They have a great selection of reptiles !! I mean a great selection. Also there variety of fish blows other businesses we have been to out of the water!! After visiting this place you will belike, Petsmart who? I would recommend visiting this cute shop and look for yourself. We couldn't resist the veil Chameleons that were just delivered from FL. Sorry but we took both of them. Thank you for the great service and selection!!!

Such an amazing local store!!! I bought two clownfish, and had a great experience. The owner helped me pick out my fish and talked with me for almost an hour about how to take care of them. He answered all my questions. I absolutely will be purchasing more from this pet store. Prices are great, especially for the quality.

Awesome store! Definitely will be going here from now on. I have a Pacman frog and I usually would have to drive a bit farther to get food for him, but luckily this place is closer! Very friendly owners.

Support local and small businesses. This place has a great selection of fish including saltwater fish. It has a nice selection of exotic animals. If snakes or lizards or tarantulas are your thing. It has all the supplies you would need to start taking care of or to maintain your existing pets. Also, if you want large ponds outside of your house, they have the equipment set that up as well.

Been in Country Pets and Pond three times. I felt today I could accurately review my experiences here. Every time I have come in - the store has been clean and I have been greeted by both owners. They always make sure to answer any of my questions and always ask if I need any help. Today I went in for tiger barbs. I called beforehand because it’s a bit of a drive for me and my call was answered immediately. The gentleman checked to see if he had the fish I wanted and told me how many he had. Service was amazing, all of their fish are always beautiful, and my overall experience was superb as usual. I’ve never had a problem with any of the fish I have gotten here and that has not been my experience with fish from other stores. I could spend a lot of time just staring at the fish. He has some of the largest giant danios I have seen, a gorgeous yellow tang, and he also carries fish that aren’t available at other fish stores in the area.

Great place! The staff are always helpful. The store is always clean and neat. I find the fish prices very reasonable and the selection surprises me: They bring in various new species, monthly, and will take requests. I haven't been to Petco in LS in years. : -)

Country Pets & Ponds is just absolutely phenomenal! It is a stunning business with a friendly and helpful staff! All of the little critters in the store were happy and healthy. I highly recommend simply stopping in to see what a beautiful place they've established.

Most of the staff are helpful most of the time. It is a great store. The only bad experience I have there is one particular employee seems to have an unwarranted attitude regarding my daughter. My daughter saves her money to buy things for her pets. She typically makes one or more purchases from this store when she visits, but this one employee seems to dislike her.

They're super informed about their fish and will help you if you have any questions. The only complaint I have is they willingly sell ting fish tanks that aren't good enough for any fish. A few of the bettas didn't look to good and their water probably needs to be changed sooner. But other than that they are super informed about what fish can be with which!

Called earlier about a baby snail problem to get help on how to slow it down or stop it. The lady laughed at me and the situation the entire time I was on the phone. Assumed I was looking to sell them when I never asked to all I needed was information on what to do. Laughed at me and told me snails A reproduce (check your facts ma'am because mystery snails do not. They do in fact need a mate.) Told me to just post them on the market to sell them (mind you still laughing) and said otherwise there was no help anyone can do. I’m glad my problem was funny enough for you. Sorry I even bothered calling.Update: she called me because I left this review and told me exactly the solutions I typed. She called sounding mad because I left this review but said nothing about the laughing nor did she say anything about giving wrong information when she OWNS the pet store. Listen, I wouldn’t have written the review if you laughed at me the ENTIRE conversation. If you own or are a part of a business you should know your facts or at least look it up. Don’t lie to someone about the information you are “providing”. Stop being unprofessional and move on.

Just found this place driving home one day and it's amazing!!! Very helpful in getting everything I needed to make my son's fishtank ready. Great selection of fish and have just about everything you need for your animals. Definitely my go to pet store now.

Beautifully well taken care of pets. I love seeing a business that cares about the quality of life their pets are having. All looked very healthy. My son gets his super worms from them because they are the largest we've found. You've gotta see the ponds, reptiles and this hermit crabs! Love the hermit crab cage!

Love love love this place! It's our spot to window shop for fish and other things. We tend to leave with a fish or 10. Small selection and some prices are bit high, but it's service and friendliness is totally worth it! They know their fish and other small things. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Don't go without money, you will leave with either a new pet or some toys for the one(s) you have. They even have dog toys!

BEST PLACE EVER TO GET FISH I got 3 for my 1st time and right now I have 4 fish thriving in my 10 gallon tank fish aren't very stressed actually there pretty calm unlike most pet stores I really recommend this place 😇😊

Country Pets and Ponds has always groomed our dog. She takes great care of him and I know that he is always safe in her hands! They have guidelines for their business for a reason and the animals always come first! The are friendly and if they don’t have something they will look into getting it if possible! Love them!

Dawn at Country Pets & Ponds is the most amazing dog groomer we have ever been to!! Our dog loves her and more importantly, she loves our dog! Dawn is always friendly and kind, always happy to see us & our Rosie girl, and she's very polite and courteous. She makes our appointments enjoyable for everybody and it's a great price to have my dog groomed. And my favorite part?!?! The photo shoot pictures I receive from Dawn when my dog is ready for pick up!!!!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend to everybody I know!!! Thanks Dawn!

Very cleanly, lots of options, lots of variety of animals. I don't necessarily like how they keep their rats, mice, hamsters, and guinea pigs are in aquariums because they're not much room for them and there's not enough ventilation. However the reptiles have plenty of room and seem to love their environment. The owner is very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.

Good experience with fish. They really want their fish to live with you, and you to be educated. They wont give you fish just to make a sale. Poor habitats for mammals, like hamsters/rats. They’ve given rats away solo (to people i know) and rats can not live on their own. Some good habitats for reptiles, bearded dragons need more space. Good aquatic plants, cheap.

This used to be one of the most reputable pet store's in Warrensburg however...I went in there recently and was appalled. The smell of ammonia hit me the moment I walked in the door. The staff was nice and were quite helpful but I could tell they were not very well informed about the animals they were selling. Unfortunately they will be losing my contributions to their business until they do more research on how to properly care for the animals they keep. The rats were kept in a 10 gal fish tank and the bedding they were using was entirely too dusty to use because of the rats sensitive respiratory system. On top of this they were selling betta fish in a small mason jar with a fake plant in it and there were multiple dead fish in the tanks. I apologize for the harsh reality of this Google review but I am very upset with this situation.
