if I could give this place zero stars i would. I was polite walking up to check out and ask the woman how her day was and she was very short and snippy with her reply and was like “going” and then when a coworker came by she completely disregarded me. I was not going to say anything and didn’t plan on it so when it came to the end of our transaction I pressed I was highly dissatisfied and she had seen that and responded with “thanks for pressing the smiley face” and I replied back with “your welcome” and smiled and she said something under her breath I couldn’t quite catch and I told her maybe if she wasn’t so rude she would’ve gotten a better review and she goes “okay girl”. the customer service there is not something I would ever want to experience again! they need better employees! especially replacing this one because she stated she was just ready to leave to her other coworker!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Twice now I've been in DG when FedEx was making a delivery and the way the manager was toward them was gross. Very rude, BOTH TIMES. I'd be embarrassed to have a "manager" that can't act right.The manager also is very lazy and gets crabby when any work is needed to be done.Kindness cost nothing. Stop being a lazy entitled inconsiderate piece of garbage to our community workers.

I deliver DG on a dry truck. Terrible experience. Charlene did not show up when she said she would and left someone else to figure stuff out. This set me back over 2 hours.

Self check out does not decode the alarms on the products. When I walked out what I bought at self checkout set off the beeping alarm like I stole it. So I told the cashier and told me self check out doesn’t have that feature.

Walmart has been my go to store for my major shopping for as long as I can remember. I liked DG for a quick one or 2 items but never really shopped there on a regular basis. But in the past year I don't know what tap into Walmart but it's just I refused to go in there anymore and Dollar General is my favorite store for everything. It's always stocked, the prices are reasonable, it's not super crowded and the employees are and have always been friendly and helpful.

This store location doesn't follow coupon policies because now twice they've refused to scan my paper coupons for the correct items I'm purchasing and then tell me their computer system won't accept them, other Dollar General store locations scan my paper coupons with no issues/problems.***Update 04/24/2022***Store Manager refused to honor price on the shelf as it was $1.80 each or 3 for $3.00 when you purchase 3 of Squirt Zero Sugar 2 liter sodas. I was gonna purchase 6 bottles for $6.00 but they were gonna charge me $10.80 for 6. If you're not charging 3 for $3.00 sale prices at the cash registers then remove the tags from those shelves! Wish I could leave a zero star rating for this Dollar General store location!

a mask is not going to stop you from eating something that is almost 2 years old. Check all dates on all foods bought from here. they used to have cool stuff in this store in 2007. diet drinks just coke or Pepsi maybe a tea who knows. the ice machine has really nasty ice. lines are a flash mob that rushes checkout if you walk near it. never had to work so hard just to buy from a store i once loved.

They always have everything I'm looking for. It makes me happy to see the African American hair care products there. They don't care any at the Dollar General around the corner from my own home.

The employees are always so friendly. And usually everything is nice and stocked. With the online app you can save money if you don't want to go to the bigger store

I must say even just a year or so ago the prices they offered on most items was great and affordable but so it seems they have really jacked up the prices on everything. Which is very sad for them cause they stand to lose more thn they will bring in. Would like to see them.lower the prices for the smaller people. We already have enough walgreens and walmarts that are way over priced on EVERYTHING YOU BUY THERE

Been crowded for years---- could. Be violation on disabled ppl, clutter on floor!!! 5-;-6 yr"s ago . Very, very RUDE.& DISRESPECTFULL cashier Shelby and manager Kay accused me trying to switch prices and items in pack of ladies panties as I.was about to pay for my stuff!! These 2 B*****" had gàll to argue and yell at me right there at counter!!!!! Told them I had done such thing,. I just wanted to pay for my, things & get home----their.insanity went on for 4-5 min,. Called big boss Dana later on & let her know everything!!!! Including they both be FIRED!!😨😨😨 How does trash like that keep a.job????📢📢 I also called district man, about it and did not step foot in there for almost 3 yr,s so they lost my business, Lisa and other woman man, need some refresher course on courtesy, 🐵🐵🐵

It's the dollar store. How much can you expect. Over priced snack foods. No good Dell's. Basic paper products I feel it's fair priced. Anything else you get what you pay for. Cheep.

Untrained, socially inept, (learning disabled?) staff unfamiliar with store policies and coupon policies. Cashier couldn't make change when he entered the wrong amount. (Entered $200 instead of $20) Store is cramped, crowded, and dirty. Sale schedules aren't up to date with the app.

The Troy location is the only one that closes at 9pm which is odd due to the surrounding businesses staying open longer! Ive also had to wait almost 45 mins after they should have opened to even enter the store because the employee never showed up to open on time which caused my plans to be delayed!

Why is it that you guys always hide my groceries! I leave with 2 bags because that's all you give me and get home, and somehow there was another bag... clearly I should double check before I leave, but how hard is your job to make sure I have everything...
