Kelly in the catering department was great to work with! We hosted a rehearsal dinner for 35 people at the Spillman Center in Jamesport. He arrived on time and set everything up. He even stayed and helped clear the tables and refill beverages. All our guests commented on how delicious the food was. I highly recommend using them for your catering needs.

Hy-Vee claims to be competitive in their prices, but who is the competition in Trenton? Recently a new grocery store has opened in Trenton. Which has given the community a second option. I still shop at Hy-Vee on occasion but try to stay out of there as much as possible. I work in Cameron, so I just visit Wal-Mart.

It had food. You need food. The prices are higher, but it's worth it not to go to Walmart. The meat and produce at HyVee are great. The people who work there are usually friendly and helpful. They bag your groceries. I like that.

The pharmacy manages my medical really well. Love the convenience of getting our vaccines here. The store seems better stocked than other stores I've been to. Two of our grandchildren work there and another one is planning to work there this summer.

There sighn in store says if the item rings up wrong it is free. They thought since I as a kid they could print a new sighn for the item that rang up wrong. They showed me the wrong sighn and told me I cant get it for free.

This place makes me sick they boast about their small-town pride but it's just a way to openly take advantage of folks that don't have any other options to do their shopping! The selection is limited and the prices are a complete RIP OFF! The only thing I can say positively about Trenton Hyvee is that the people who work here are usually decent but good luck finding an employee throughout the store.

Never has everything on my list. One time went for chicken nuggets only had gluten free, or weirdly flavored nuggets. Went for frozen chicken breast, only had Buffalo nuggets, and frozen chicken wings. Went for a certain brand of tea, nothing. Etc. This is a joke of grocery store. If you are going to be the only grocery store in a small town you need to have everything stocked and you shouldn’t be the most expensive store. I really hope a cheaper grocery store comes in and you have to lower prices or sink. It’s worse every time I go. Aldi, we want you!!!!

It's ok it is just small and you have to drive 30 minutes for better prices. Defeats savings. I however do love their fuel rewards. I do not use them at Casey's I wait until I go to the city to the Hy-vee gas station for Premium, with hyperinflation you cant beat 33 cents off a gallon

Was out of what i wanted. Couldn't find what I was looking for and a lady ask what I was looking for and she just pointed down an isle and said she think it was down some isle, and walk off to the Pharmacy. And what I was looking for was in her area.Was in freezer dept and young lady there was real helpful. She took me to what I was looking for.Went again and getting supper idems, and they were out what I needed.

It has a strong bad milk smell as soon as you walk in. Everything else was good. The folks were nice and available for help, plenty of buggys, and they had everything we needed in 1 stop.

This store is a bit pricey. Some things here are just priced too high. Their cheese brand isn't very good. There are a few good prices just not as many as there need to be. Also though I saw some cinnamon rolls here. I read the price as $2.99 which would have been fair. I didn't manage to look at the screen to see and only noticed after I bought them that they were $7.99.They do however have some good prices and deals here and there. I have editied this review enough that this is the 4th version so mixed feelings. But basically if there was another store in town I would shop there instead.

So I was trying to get some apples today at Hy-Vee and they're going to charge me $17.34 for eight apples and that is ridiculous I was not very happy today with my experience I've been doing business with them for over 12 years how do they expect somebody in low income levels to be able to afford any food from their store knowing their price gouging this is outrageous I just might as well just shop somewhere else and just don't shop at Hy-Vee anymore cuz that's basically for the rich people to be able to go and shop there

Great store in a small town with a good selection of items. The meat department is unequaled with great ideas for grilling, home meals, etc. Good deli with nice food items. Overall, the place is fairly pricy, but good quality.

Hyvee is my favorite grocery chain. Their prices are a bit higher but their friendliness, customer service and kindness are second to *None* They earned my business in Storm Lake, IA. I had dropped my trailer at Tyson and was on my way to the Bobtail lot when I saw three grocery stores coming up: Wal Mart, Fareway and Hyvee. I pulled into Wal Mart and had barely got out of my *bobtail* when I was met by an arm waving manager who demanded to know if I was delivering. "No," I indicated my lack of trailer "I'm a customer" The manager replied "I need you to get this truck off property *Now!* Several remonstrances did no good and I left. As I pulled out, a woman in HyVee managers clothes waved me over to her parking lot. "I saw what happened," she told me. "He ran you off?" I indicated this was the case. "Well your business is welcome at HyVee, park anywhere you like" When I was done paying for my purchases, an attendant came out to the truck with me and handed the bags up to me. Earn my business, and I am a loyal customer.

Great place to shop. Always friendly hel lots of options in different grocery categories. Fresh produce, meats and even a hot deli for nights your not wanting to cook. Reasonable prices, fast and friendly checkouts.

Where you will find a snooty, judge mental, not knowing a darn thing about you or your life “Karen” in every isle and at every cash register. But on the up side they always have groceries and things of the needed verity. Which they didn’t close at 10 p.m. 11 p.m. or even midnight on weekends would be so awesome.
