I just want to say that Stover animal shelter went above and beyond to rehome my cousins 4 big dogs. They truly care about their well being. A special thanks to Kim for going to feed and water the dogs and just checking on them until they could get them in foster homes. You made a huge difference and were a life saver for me and these dogs who lost their owner. Thank you again! 😊 You all are the BEST!

This is a wonderful rescue and the people here take great care of animals and work hard to find them the perfect home. We adopted our dog here about a month ago, and Stover Animal Rescue took great care of him by getting him healthy and up to date with his shots before he came to his furever home. Nancy was always very responsive and nice in helping us through the process. Thank you for helping us find our new best friend!

Dirty, crowded, unorganized, unfriendly, and a bed was found on the floor where the help sleeps! Not to mention it STINKS!!!!

They are a no kill shelter so that's an auto 4 stars. Everyone was nice. The gift thrift shop has everything you can imagine and they have lots of animals that need your help.

They are very sweet people and the pets they have are great. The pets at the shelter are waiting for their forever families. Prices at the thrift store are very low good place to go when searching for treasures!!

If you're up for some digging this is the place you might find a steal! Lots of knick knacks and misc, lots of clothes most are $1. Bonus you get to check out the puppies down stairs from the thrift store!
