Ice cream, you scream…we all scream for Ice Cream! This hidden ice cream gem can be found in Stover, Missouri, a town with a population of a little over 1,000 people. We have family members that live nearby Stover who love visiting this spot. When we were in town for a birthday, we were thrilled to try this spot out! There are countless flavors and options to order at this adorable ice cream stand. I ordered the coffee flavor and the peanut butter flavor…delicious! With several different options to choose from, there will be a flavor for everyone in your party to enjoy. Even on a dreary day, this ice cream hits the spot. Add this spot to your bucket list!

Truly a hidden gem in the old Skelly gas station in downtown Stover, MO. If you are heading down Highway 52 to go to the lake, you owe it to yourself to drive a couple extra blocks for a real treat!The chili dogs were very good, but the chicken bacon ranch panini was superb. We will head back tomorrow for their famous baked potatoes - Wednesdays only and apparently they sell out fast. They also have an amazing ice cream and milkshake selection too.The staff was awesome and super friendly. Food was made fresh and fast. It will be a regular stop for us!

Such a great little ice cream shop in downtown Stover! Recently they have added panini's and my family and I love the chicken bacon ranch and club! The Fruity Pebble Shake is amazing! Definitely a must try!

Surprised to find a local ice cream shop in a small town like Stover. If you are passing through I definitely recommend stopping by.Whether you get just a scoop, a big sundae, or the massive (and amazingly well priced) ice cream nachos you won't be disappointed.There are plenty of flavors to choose from and a delightful amount of sundaes, blasts, or banana splits to choose from.The menu also has some hot foods like hot dogs (with 9 toppings to choose from) or nachos. I can't speak to those as we wanted anything but ice cream.

Skelly’s is absolutely the best! Their sundaes are so amazing. My personal favorites are the Brownie Buster and the Salty Dog. They will definitely satisfy your craving for a sweet treat!Their food items are very good as well. The Skelly Dog has been one of my favorites, but they recently added paninis. I highly recommend the club panini! It is so delicious and filling!!

I can’t say enough good things about this cool historic spot Skelly’s Gas Station converted into an ice cream shop. I love the T Bird Sundae (strawberry lovers delight), monkey business ice cream (bananas with chocolate pieces) . I’ve never tried anything I didn’t love from Skelly’s! Ice Cream. They have a unique, fun menu and make homemade waffle cones/bowls daily!!!

Great Mom and Pop I've cream stand. Live the banna split and taco ice cream. Will have to make a regular trip here. Again great food good prices.

Ice cream is great, and a very nice place for a treat! but I've been there multiple times when the sign and webpage says they're open and no one was there.🤷 change your hours please , or else be there. It's not nice driving to town for ice cream and no one is there.

This is a fun, "Off the beaten path" old fashioned ice cream store, converted from an old Skelly gas station. Friendly staff, 50's & 60's music playing, outdoor tables and chairs. Bring cash because they don't take plastic (yet) but you won't be disappointed. Gourmet hot dogs, panini's and about every frozen confection you can imagine.

Checked out this place for lunch. No one else was there. The blinds were drawn and at first I thought the place was closed. Walked up to the little window and a girl opened it. I said hello and she gave no response at all. Just looked at me impatiently. The menu has a great variety, enough to please anyone. I ordered a panini and waited quite some time for it, I think around 15 min. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious when it came. But I couldn’t get over the unfriendly and barely civil manner of the cashier. Maybe I hit it on an off day, but I probably wouldn’t go back, though the food was good.

An absolute gem. We drive from Kansas City just for the ice cream and hot dogs. Yes, that good.Small town charm. 100+-year-old gas station with the original pumps. Beautiful Ozark scenery. Delicious, wonderful hand-crafted, premium ingredient treats. I'm so impressed with every visit.

My husband and I each had waffle cone twists, he also had the junkyard dog. They were great, the waffle cones are made there and the dog is 1 lb and loaded and delicious. We enjoyed our visit very much. The girls were very friendly and quickly made our treats. We will return, thank you.

Nice little classic Old School Shelly gas station busy afternoon about 3:30 good selection of ice creams but very proud $4 for a single scoop of ice cream & up to I think it was $7.95 for a shake okay for something special but definitely not a daily or weekly visit

Great nostalgia stop old gas station turned into an ice cream shop lot of places to sit on the outside walk up window. Comparable priced enjoyed my two scoop waffle cone and The cone was fresh, not hard like some of the other shops

Very disappointed that they ran out of the waffle cones and didn't even give us a break on the price. You got 1/2 the ice cream for the same price. Kinda rip off
