Dr. Torbeck is a compassionate vet, he is not a callous man tword any animal brought to him, and his devotion to figuring out ur pets delimia is absolute, if ur pet is a member of ur family, then u'll want care on a personal level, at Lakeside that's what u'll find. Concider this when u look in ur pet's eyes..

I only have wonderful things to say. We were camping and so worried about our little old man. They worked us in, everyone was very friendly and compassionate, and our pup got the treatment he needed. I seriously considered changing vets even though I live an hour and a half away!

Called them when our friend of 13 years was hurting and ready to travel over the rainbow bridge. Was told we would be called back that day but that call never took place. If we were needing her nails clipped, etc. it would have been no big deal but when a friend you've shared many years with is dying it's damned important. The vet we used in Buffalo before our moving to Stockton volunteered to drive 100 miles round trip to take care of Carmen for us. That's someone that cares. Never received an apology from the staff at Lake animal clinic. Done done and done.

Me and my S/O are brand new pet parents to 2 puppies that showed up at our door exhausted and infested with ticks. As soon as we got them settled in and had enough funds to take them to their first wellness checks, our 7mo male caught parvo. They're all better now and vaccinated for the year.. but this veterinarian and ALL his employees have been with us literally EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! It doesn't matter if I call every single day with the most amateur line of questions, they have the answer and can usually talk me out of my worries in about 5 minutes or less, LOL! Plus they don't charge an arm and a leg just because they can. You can just really tell they truly care and [as long as life allows it] I'll be bringing my pups here for the rest of their lives!!!!

I have always took our boys to Dr. T, he has ALWAYS done an amazing job with them, even tho Carter & Cooper tries to go the opposite direction when we pull up, We have took other pets to the other vets around town and they were rough with them. So, Lake Animal Clinic is where we will continue to go. 🐕‍

We called in and they scheduled us right away. The veterinarian was so nice and friendly. The receptionist and nurses were friendly and smiling as well.My little chihuahua was relaxed and comfortable. They did an x ray and gave her a shot . He explained the x ray to us so we were well informed...everything was VERY affordable!The veterinarian listened to everything I said and didn't make me feel stupid.I would highly recommend this place! ♡♡♡

We have six dogs and nine cats. He treats them amazingly. When our cat Snowflake was passing away, he took her him for over night care at his house. He took care of her trying to get her better. Sadly she pats away with the best care ever. He did the same for my grandparents dog. He’s an amazing guy.

Doc and staff are outstanding. All my dogs which is 4 of them love doc and the staff. Appointments are easy to make and if you need doc right away, then they get you in. Wish he did house calls for my other farm animals. The other vets in town do but I'm not very pleased with them.

Stopped for an unplanned walk in visit while we were visiting the area. I realized suddenly that our regular vet at home had marked my pups bordetella as only good for 6 months rather than a year. He wanted to attend a doggie daycare while us humans went on some non dog friendly adventures, so I needed to get this updated quickly. They literally had us done and back out the door in under 10 minutes. The doctor has a friendly manner that puts animals right at ease. The didn't price gouge me either, I paid only for what I needed and they pushed nothing else.

We have been taking our dog, Max, to Lake Animal Clinic for the past 4 years and have never been disappointed. They are busy but they have always gotten us in as soon as possible, which we appreciate. We recently added another puppy, Leo, and he will also be going to Lake Animal Clinic. I took my dog Charlie here, I'm new to Stockton. They were awesome, Charlie had a thorn in between his toes. They removed it took great care of him while I was at work and only charged me $65 I was able to also buy a pile form of flee and tick control for only $20. I'm very excited to have them as my new vet. Thank you lake.

Absolutely loved this vet. My dogs haven't been since the pandemic and they were a little bit nervous going. Dr. T was so nice and played with them to relax them. Highly recommend!

Brought my pup in and got her tested for worms. She did have hookworms and coccidia parasites. Doc gave her a couple shots and some meds and sent us home with some meds to continue treatment. Fast, friendly, and affordable.

I took my male cat in because he was having abdominal pain and crying and a fever. He wasn't quite 6 years old yet. The vet checked him out while I was at work and I picked him up later and I was told that he had an infection in his stomach. I was given some antibiotics. 48 hours later my cat was screaming and miserable and this was on a Saturday so I took him to my former vet. My cat had a UTI which is very common and should have been caught by Lake Animal clinic but they didn't bother to do a urinalysis. My cat's bladder was the size of a small grapefruit and because of this, he ended up with kidney failure and died. The former vet placed a catheter and sent me home with several medications. I tried for about a week force feeding my cat and giving him his antibiotics and probiotics. Due to Lake Animal clinic not doing a urinalysis and catching the UTI in time, my fur baby ended up with kidney failure and died. I will never take another animal here to this vet ever again. A UTI is fairly common and should have been caught by a simple urinalysis but this was not performed. I am heartbroken and feel so much guilt for not taking my pet to someone who would take things seriously. My fur baby was the best cat I have ever had and was so easy to take care of. He never caused problems and never had health problems. Unfortunately, due to covid-19, there was a shortage on my normal cat food and litter and this was the most probable cause for his UTI. Unfortunately, because of the Lake Animal Clinic vet not bothering to do a urinalysis for a simple UTI, my baby went for 48 hours too long and the damage was irreversible. Please, please, do not take your fur baby to this vet if you are concerned about their welfare. Take them to Dr. Cramer's for the best care possible. I have to live with the guilt of taking my baby to a vet who didn't test for the most obvious problem. Now my baby is in kitty heaven. 😭😭😭

This place has no sympathy for after treatment. They have my daughter grief for asking routine follow up questions. The wrong size cone for the dog. No personal emotion involved. CRAMERS ALL THE WAY. Fixed the mistakes. Showed how to use and what to use.Tom Price
