We had the BEST experience! After having a not so great big box store experience we looked locally and this is the place to go! Thy were inviting, very polite and so patient with our kids. This made our experience everything! Not to mention their tanks are clean, happy fish and well taken care of. This will be our go-to aquatic spot from now on 🤗

Only aquarium store in town worth going to! The owner is super helpful and extremely knowledgeable and nice. I refuse to shop anywhere else... If he doesn't already have it on hand, just ask and he can get it for you. My kids even love this store bc he keeps fish stickers just for them when we go. All the livestock is healthy, great selection of corals, and tons of fresh water stuff too. Finally, a great store in Springfield!

This place is amazing!! We drove an hour to get to it because we don’t have a local pet store. While in Springfield we visited a couple pet shops to buy fish. We stopped here first and ended up coming back. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. The fish were healthy and in extremely clean tanks! Prices are also very reasonable!!

This is Springfield's BEST saltwater fish & coral store! I've been in the hobby for awhile and have been to many saltwater shops. This is the cleanest and most organized shop I've been in! They sell a variety of saltwater fish and coral!The customer service was excellent. Mikie was very nice & knowledgeable and the female cashier was also very nice!They also sell a lot of freshwater fish, too.

Our first time here was good! They had fair prices on healthy fish, and will order specific items for you. I hope they add more plants. Currently our preferred source for fish and snails.

This aquarium shop was beautiful, the fish were very well stocked and looked very healthy! I've kept fish for over a decade and I saw fish I had never seen in person before at this store! Definitely worth checking by if you are a freshwater fish lover like me, they had reasonable prices and the fish I picked up from there are doing great! There were also lots of corals and a solid selection of saltwater fish. I talked to the owner and he was really nice even though I cut in a bit close to close, great service and attentive, definitely check this place out next time you need unique fish!

Great shop, so glad we have a nice shop in Springfield finally! Shop is very clean looking and everything looks very healthy and is decently priced. They also sell anything you might need for all of your aquarium needs. everything from pumps to skimmers to lights to powerheads. The owner Mikey is super knowledgeable and is great to talk to.He has a large selection of both fresh and saltwater fish and also has a very nice selection of coral to chose from. I plan on going here for all my aquarium needs and I promise you won't be disappointed by doing the same.

I'm new to fish keeping had fish when I was a kid but had to move therefore I haven't had fish for awhile. Been looking into stores and found this one, they're very friendly and knowledgeable with their fish and also very new. Prices are fair I highly recommend checking this place out. They have new stuff coming in soon.

This is the best shop in the 417 area by far. The shop is always stocked with a large variety of fish, coral, and plants as well. If you’re doing any aquascaping this is the place to go as the owner Mikey is super helpful and has by far the largest selection of wood and rock and substrate in the area. 10/10 would recommend, check this place out!

Finally Springfield has an aquarium store! If you're sick and tired of dealing with those clowns up the street or at the big box stores come here instead- the store is well stocked on plants, fish and decor- a place I'll be spending my money at! It's clean and well organized with friendly staff! The tanks are stocked with healthy fish and plants- there's actually a selection to choose from, it's not the same old sick boring fish the other places carry- he's an actual fishkeeper that knows what he's doing and the prices are affordable. I'll be coming back plenty of times.

This place is very cool! Mikie ( the owner ) has done a terrific job setting up his store, and really knows his stuff. Very neat, clean, shoppable, and knowledgeable staff. The tanks are beautiful and the fish are healthy. I'd highly recommend shopping at Aquarium Design. Springfield needed a really good aquatic store...... This is it! GREAT JOB to Mikie and TEAM.

I can only speak on freshwater, but they have a decent selection of fish, plants, chemicals, and hard scape. Prices may be a little higher than a box stores but it’s worth it

I would rate a 10/10 if possible. I absolutely could not reccomend this place more. If you are a fish enthusiast, don't go anywhere else but here for quality! The fish are absolutely beautiful & healthy. The tanks are always well kept, the owner keeps a great variety of freshwater fish, saltwater fish, corals, along with lots of different invertebrates. Skip the other mediocore stores like petco, petsmart, or the other aquariam shop that is in Springfield & check out this amazing store instead. This is the only store we will go to after some poor experiences. You can tell they actually care about the fish and what they do. Ozark Aquarium Design is a must for all aquatic lovers!❤️

Staff was helpful, attentive, and friendly. Inside was nicely arranged, clean and well organized. The prices all seemed fair and very reasonable. Found a few things that I’d only been able to get online previously that I’d been waffling on due to shopping cost. Overall a great store. I look forward to getting more from them.
