Have just gone for the introduction of our dog to their facility but so far everyone is nice and friendly. Update: I am so pleased with this place! My dog was treated well and was played with, walked, fed. She came back to us happy and that is always a plus in my book. I will definitely be using Happy Tails again in the future for any boarding needs my family may have for Pickle our ornery Corgi!!! Thanks for taking such good care of her!

We've been boarding our greyhound and pit/Lab mix with Happy Tails for the past five years--never an issue. They take extra special care of Otto, my blind greyhound! They've also made special arrangements for Gertrude, whom we boarded once post-surgery. Both my dogs are very happy here--they don't even look back when I leave!

After our last groomer quit we decided to give Happy Tails a try. We have visited Happy Tails for boarding (once when our usual place was full) and grooming with our 2 dogs (both Havanese, 16 lbs and 26 lbs). I would NOT recommend if you have rescue dogs. They told us we couldn't board there anymore after our male dog charged and nipped at a worker, fine that is understandable. It is the attitude of staff after this that was my last straw. The main receptionist is always very passive aggressive. The groomer doesn't know how to handle nervous dogs, sending us home with a half shaved dog that looks like the grinch who stole christmas. It's important to note this dog has never had issues with grooming other than nails, which we have always been very gracious about. Every time we walked in the door or were called there was negative and shaming commentary made about our dogs, it's like they were setting up the expectation of bad behavior, all because of the boarding incident (keep in mind they let him stay the remainder of the time, and kept him out with other dogs and staff, so it's not like they felt their lives were threatened by this under 30lb dog). It's like our dogs had been the topic of their staff during their visit every time. Sooooo weird. Acting like they are 100 pound foaming at the mouth killers. They have their quirks, but they are not bad dogs by any means. Our usual boarders LOVE our dogs, quirks and all. And we found a great new groomer. Do not put up with people who try to make you feel guilty! This is the perfect place if you have cookie cutter dogs with 0 flaws. Oh, except for the dog that the receptionist was cutting the nails of when my husband walked in, and it bit her and she just laughed it off and said "aww you didn't mean too". It's totally okay and cute when the little fur balls do it 👍🏻 but my dogs can't be nervous around inexperienced groomers 👍🏻

We used to love happy tails, and have been boarding our dogs here off an on for the last 4/5 years. But the last two times we have boarded our dogs, one dog has come back with noticeable injuries that staff didn’t communicate with us about. The first time I figured it was a fluke, but when I called about our concerns the second time after returning home, I never received a call back. This did occur a while ago, so maybe staff or training has improved, but it was so disheartening for us and we won’t be returning to happy tails.

Used to love this place when Tom was there. The prices keep going up and up. Today I spent $800 at the vet for both my dogs DHPP, rabies, kennel cough, year of flea preventitive, year of heart worm... went to Happy Tails and they say they now require a fecal test on both dogs. I'm not spending more money at the vet-- so my dogs can play at doggy day care twice a month. The place is now owned by a vet so figures they keep requiring more so they can make more. These dogs require more medical care at this establishment than people do!! Goodbye to a formerly cool business.

We don't board our dogs often and usually when we do they come home very needy. But when I picked up my pups yesterday they just seemed happy. They came home and went about their normal routine like we had never left them. I do think they may have played harder or been more active then normal because they both wanted extra naps but really the extra exercise is probably good for them since they are getting up there in years. I will definitely be making Happy Tails our go to boarding.

The crew is first rate, care deeply about the work they do, and were extremely helpful in caring for our kitties during our cross country move. We additionally had to make arrangements for our kitties to be picked up by a transportation service, and the Happy Tails team handled the process without a hitch. Wonderful group and would highly recommend!

Ran into some nasty weather while vacationing in the area, luckily Happy Tails was able to take him last minute and our dog more than enjoyed his stay! He was so excited when he got there, that he didn't even notice us leave and for a dog that has abusive history he was more than comfortable with everyone there. They even fed him and let us leave his favorite moose toy while he was there. 12/10 would recommend again. I'm sure our dog will be upset he can't go back to play until we visit again 😅

Our dog loves Happy Tails. She gets so excited to go. They are great people and they are truly animal lovers and animal people. Highly recommend for anyone looking for day care or boarding. No other choice for us for our dog.

Happy Tails is a great place. We have been coming here for 3 year, I don't know what I would do without them. My dog loves coming and can't wait to go. He knows what days he goes and what time we need to leave. On the way to daycare he can hardly sit down because he is so excited. They have done an amazing job helping him adjust and help him learn. The staff are amazing and so helpful.

We are so happy to have found Happy Tails! All the employees take such great care of our two dogs, and it’s such a peace of mind when we travel out of town. We can’t even say the words “Happy Tails” in our house without our dogs going crazy and running to the front door! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Can’t recommend enough!!

I have been taking my dog Archie to Happy Tails since the first year I got him. I can not say enough good about the people who work at Happy Tails. They make everything so easy when dropping off and picking up. They work with Spring Valley Vet next door so Archie gets his shots and stays up to date with his appointments with barely any effort on my part. Everyone is extremely nice and they always have great stories to tell about Archie during his time with them.If you are looking for somewhere to let your dog spend time away from home, this is the place.

Happy Tails is awesome! We take our two dogs there about twice a week and they come back tired and happy. One of our dogs is reactive with some people and he loves all the staff there because they treat him so well. We’ll never go anywhere else!

Tom and his crew at Happy Tails always offer us amazing service when planning daycare, grooming, and boarding for our dog. We've been customers of theirs for a couple of years now and I don't plan on going anywhere else. I always have peace of mind when my boy stays at Happy Tails - and he's a nervous one, so that means a lot!

The staff at Happy Tails or are so kind and accommodating. I recently adopted a cat for the first time and due to the pandemic many vets are no longer offering nail trims without another reason for a visit as well. Happy Tails was so friendly and even though they do not trim cat nails on a regular basis they were happy to take Magic. They were so wonderful with her and they were done before I even finished filling out the first time paperwork. I will continue to bring Magic here in the future!

I am comfortable and happy bringing my dogs to Happy Tails for both daycare and boarding. They are good people, they care for the dogs, and I have no complaints. Also, I think the purchase by Spring Valley was a nice bonus for Happy Tails because it is run very well and is a stable and safe place to bring my dogs. Everyone is super nice. We watched while our dogs were introduced to the others in their group for their first visit. It was apparent the staff knew what they were doing and our dogs had a great time. The staff supervises activity the entire time and they do offer some very affordable training packages as well. We have already been back and will continue. They provide an excellent opportunity for socialization and to expend some energy. We know our pups are in good hands while they're at HTDD!

How does a dog know it is Friday? I do not know either. Penelope sure knows when it is Friday. She cannot wait to see her friends at Happy Tails. The staff here have been extremely accommodating and flexible to help fill our dog's needs. Great place and getting to talk to other individuals and their experiences bringing their own pets will sell anyone.

We left our 2 cats here for boarding for 1 week. As a momma, I cried when we left, but seeing them when we showed up and knowing everything we had requested for them had been done was wonderful. We are a forever customer. Highly recommend!!!!

We love happy tails! My pup gets so excited when it's time to go to school. And gets sad when it's time to pick her up. She won't even look at us until after her dinner. I know my dog is safe and having a good ol' dog day when she's at school.

If you have a dog in need of exercise and socialization while you're at work, I highly recommend Happy Tails! My dog is a rescue who was terrified of other dogs - even his own reflection. It took a lot of patience, but he is now able to play with other dogs in a play group thanks to the amazing staff (especially the on-site trainer, Iciminda)! He is so excited to go to Happy Tails in the morning, that he will take his leash off the hook and bring it to me. I am so grateful that he's getting to socialize with other dogs, exercising and playing, and that it's all supervised by people who really understand and care about dogs. I feel totally comfortable leaving my dog there while I'm at work.

Took our Yorkie and Chihuahua there for the first time. The staff was amazing, attentive, and caring. Our pups normally don't get along with others, but here they were running around and pkaying with the other dogs and interacting with the staff, it was amazing!

I am so pleased with the facility and staff. The man in charge is very knowledgeable and attentive. They are so thorough in monitoring the dogs...even took my dog next door to the vet to check out a bump on his toe. Very pleased with the attention and care my boy receives.

We had never had our dog in a day care before so we entered the day care with some trepidation but everyone there was so good with him. They took him around to get a feel for his personality then introduced him to a small set of dogs. After a short while our Ozzie was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this daycare.

I left my pup at happy tails due in part to the positive reviews. The staff were receptive and conscientious. One staff member took pictures of my dog and texted them to me, a much appreciated service. When I picked my pup up, there must have been 30 dogs in the outdoor lot area with one staff member who looked exhausted. It was unsanitary and overcrowded. There were dogs indoors as well, but they were separated into smaller groups and cordoned off. My pup suffered stress and weight loss, and while he was there, started using the bathroom in his pen which he has never done at home or previous boarding facilities. The note I sent regarding feed and treats was not read, and he wasn’t given any of the treats. He came home with Giardia and conjunctivitis. It might be a nice facility in a good location, but they sent my dog home with two infectious illnesses, one of which I was just notified of, days later, so now all of my animals must be tested. They stressed my puppy, I’m not sure how long in the pen, day after day, without a potty break. This is not a discounted boarding facility, I paid for and expected more, at minimum to not cause undue stress and illness. I will not bring my dog back.

I have a 'farm dog' that doesn't enjoy strangers. She's recieved a summer-cut every year for the past 14 years, and NEVER has the groomer been able to get closer to her head [insert lion look here]. The groomer at Happy Tails did a full-cut and made her feel comfortable and had a positive report for me. Very happy my dog felt comfortable with this staff.
