Was a very good experience! Super friendly and clean. Our waitress was over quickly, got us drinks, and took our order on a portable device that sent the food directly to the kitchen. Salad was out in minutes, appetizers soon after, and HOT! Food followed and was also hot and amazing. Fried chicken was special, and it was very good. The grilled bacon maple chicken was really good as well. Homemade rolls. Fast service and food delivery amazing well ran restaurant. We will 100% be back.

A group of over 50 people from First Baptist Church, Kimberling City wanted to have lunch together and bid farewell to longtime friends who are moving. We made arrangements to gather in their private dining area on the Northside of their dining area. It was comfortable and private. They offered two selections for your meal. They had four girls serving us. The food was delicious. The girls worked very hard for us. We enjoyed lunch and finished in less than an hour. I highly recommend the restaurant.

This place is the home cooked meal you need when you're away from home. It was a little out of our way but so worth the extra drive. We all loved everything we ordered. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have been wanting to eat here since it had caught fire, and they rebuilt it. It had a good reputation. We had the chicken tender basket. The chicken tenders were hand breaded and some of the juiciest white meat I've ever tasted. The breading had good flavor. Not overly seasoned. The hand cut fries were also cooked perfectly. I can not say enough good things about the wait staff. They worked in unison, and were very attentive to not only us but all patrons in the restaurant. We plan on going back for breakfast. Highly recommend!!

Our first time stopping here and it did not disappoint. My husband had meatloaf mpg green beans salad and dinner roll I had fried shrimp baked potato green beans salad and dinner roll dessert to go coffee was excellent and my got a vanilla latte to goGreat atmosphere great food a must stop.Parking: Great parking spot for our camper

First time eating here was a 40 min drive for us. I have been wanting to eat here for sometime. My experience was ok. Just didn't live up to expectations. The portions were ok sized. There was nothing to get excited about. The meatloaf was good. My roll looked amazing but was crusty. Prices were ok to maybe a little high for what you get. Our drinks were refilled more by other waitresses than by ours. And middle of dinner, the restaurant filled with smoke. I would eat here again just no hurry to.Parking: Parking around the front and on the side.

We celebrated my husband‘s 70th birthday and ended up with around 70 guest. The staff took care of us and it was a Saturday night and they rocked. The food was good. The atmosphere was good if you’re needing to have a party for a big group of people you need to go see them at Gateway. Thanks to all of them for taking care of us. Denver had a ball.

Always happy when we have the chance to eat here on our way to Branson. Options are limited in Nixa for home cooked restaurants that are open on a Saturday. Burger and fries were delicious! Counted off a point for atmosphere only because the floors were really dirty. No one was keeping up with sweeping the day we stopped.Kid-friendliness: A family friendly restaurant

My husband and I enjoy dinner at Gateway on occasion just to have a good home cooked meal not cooked at home. We decided to do dinner out tonight and did not realize they were doing a belated Valentines dinner for 2!The decorations and ambience were such a sweet surprise and the food did not disappoint, as usual.Our waitress was perfect as always too.I would highly recommend dining at Gateway in general and will be staying tuned to their Facebook page for future specials.

Update: It has been a year since I was here last. They have made some improvements, and it is looking great. I went with the special - pulled pork, coleslaw, chips, fries and carrot cake. No surprise it was incredible. Is it weird to say the bun on the sandwich was buttery and delicious? The carrot cake was moist, dense and had a mouth watering cream cheese frosting. My server was so on top of everything, I never had to ask for anything, my ice tea was always full. She was so friendly and smiling. I insist you stop in any time you are passing by!Kiley was an amazing server. The restaurant is clean and modern with a rustic look. The food was delicious and had that dinner at home flavor you crave. Do not skip the pie either.Parking: Large open lot for buses, motor homes and trailers.

This was a delightful experience! I understand that they just recently opened after rebuilding because of a fire. They have a nice menu. Fair prices and good portions. Everything that everybody ate was declared to be delicious.I have maple glazed chicken with bacon and cheese with mashed potatoes and corn and salad. The rolls are fresh and all of the food was good. One of my friends had a hamburger and another had meatloaf, which they enjoyed.The desserts are fresh made on the spot and so good! One of my friends and I each had apple pie and the other had pecan pie. He said the pecan pie was good and not too sweet, which is hard to find with pecan pies that are usually sickly sweet. The only thing I could say is they could serve a little more ice cream with their pie, but the flavors were wonderful.My apple pie had cinnamon in the Apple mixture and in the top crust! Quite delightful.I came in with a guide dog, and our server was even kind enough to wrap up a piece of bacon and give me it so that I could hand it off to her later. She got it in the car and we both say a huge thank you to Rylee for greatI definitely hope to go back there.They also have a little shop with local honeys and handmade jams and other items. I didn't stop in there but my friend said she found many things that she felt looked wonderful.#accessibilityreviewI can't tell you anything about the bathrooms, as I never used one. There is handicap accessible parking. There is also a little ramp so that you could avoid the curb. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for my guide dog. There was decent space between the tables to move around. This can be important if you have any kind of adaptive devices or service animals.Wheelchair accessibility: There was pretty good spacing in between the tables, and the staff were accommodating in case anybody needs something moved. I moved a chair so that I had more space for my guide dog. It worked out just fine.There is handicap accessible parking and a ramp so you don't have to deal with the curb.

19 members of the Henry family so enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal here at the Gateway Cafe in Spokane MO on Nov 19. They sat aside an area just for us and provided EXCELLENT service the whole time our crazy family was there. Special thanks to our waitress for her patience and to a little gal who braved the cold outside to take a group picture of all of us. It turned out beautifully!

Ate here with a party of 6 or so. Service was excellent and wait staff were in top of things.However, prices are a bit high for a dinner entree. My fish dinner was 1 filet, baked potato and corn. The corn tasted terrible, like it was out of somebody's deer feeder. The baked tater was awful. Dry and much overcooked. The roll was ok, and the fish was less than spectacular. And it was $15 for a single filet meal.Burgers and chicken fried steak were better than my fish meal.
