Great local stop for a fresh sandwich. The staff was very friendly and everything looked good. I had the sandwich with turkey bacon and smoked bologna. It was so good. I picked up some of the locally sources jerky as well. It was amazing

The food was DELICIOUS, my mother has a major gluten allergy and without even putting it the lady did NOT put the gluten caramel in her coffee. The lady’s and the one gentleman were so kind and nice talked to us as we were leaving and everything. The atmosphere was so homey and cozyDietary restrictions: They have options!! Don’t be afraid to speak up about your restrictions!! they will accommodate you.

A small, nestled in nook on the highway, down-home cafe. Friendly family atmosphere. Welcoming, stress-free, just a plain and simple eatery where one dan go and just want to hang out a bit. Sandwiches are really good. We live in Kimberling City, about a 20 mile trip to Root Cellar, but we will be back. It is worth the drive.You couldn't ask for nicer, more cordial folks to serve you.

Great breakfast! Highly recommend. We had breakfast sandwiches and a cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious and made fresh. Coffee was great too.
