Very helpful staff when I needed a package sent via courier. This store has plenty of stuff to choose from. We really could use a walking path to this store to make it really convenient and fun to ride bicycle or walk to from our homes. Safe!!!!!!

This is not a good store. Be aware of staff and prices. They will not help you. They will keep your items and not give you back your money. When you try and get help. Store manager will not help. Was told I would be called back in a week , have not heard from them in two weeks. Please be very careful. I lost my products and money plus had to buy the products again at a different place. Not cool.

The cashier was genuinely polite and is always wearing a mask when I pop. I have seen it so busy people were lined up back into the aisle and the cashier kept her cool like a pro and thanked everyone for their patience.

We used to really like the local Dollar General store in Shell Knob....until today when 2 employees stated when asked to look in the back for a product they were out of, "It may be back there, but we wont go through the carts in the back to look for it." I mean...isnt that what they are there for? The shelves were low on most items...half of the things I was shopping for were out. We will go to another store from now on.

I love our dollar general go often! The new cashier they have named summer not a very nice person! I came up to check out and she didn't smile or greet me! Didn't say two words to me! Told me my total didn't say have a good night! Very rude actions like she didn't even want to wait on me!! Being a cashier in this town I know you can have bad days but you just smile and go on! This was the second time I was in and neither time was she very nice!!! Maybe you should get more of a people person since you work in a tourist town!!# just saying!!#

Very very rude messy unprofessional store. The bathroom smells like piss. Every time I'm there. There's ways boxes and carts in the way. The workers are rude and disrespectful. And don't dare to ask them a question about something while there talking to there boyfriend (appears to be ) very disappointed in the management very unprofessional staff.

Disgustingly rude and very pathetic cashier... I have been in the store three times this week. And every time I have witnessed the cashier who’s named Nancy be very rude to multiple people. I was discusted with the way she was yelling at this one young lady this time and I will not be returning. She was yelling at this lady telling her to leave. The lady said mam I don’t understand what the problem is your district manager had called me and told me that I can come here. I haven’t don’e anything wrong why don’t you like me? She was literally about to cry. And The cashier continued to yelled t her and said I’m calling the cops. The lady was being nice and she had no reason to act like this. Once the lady left she started talking about the gal. Called her a stupid b**** and continued degrading her. I was fed up and left. I recommend going anywhere else if your wanting a friendly exchange And Experience. Very disappointed and discusted I did catch the rude cashiers name and it was nancy. She does not deserve to be working with people and aloud to act like that. I don’t expect much from dollar general but decent employees is one thing I do expect from anywhere that’s working with people all the time.

This Dollar general store is very well kept and managed I lived right up the road for a few years and never had any issues which is very surprising in the retail world this day in time.

This store is always a mess . Never have things in stock or at it may be in back . I have been in other DG around the area and those stores aren't like that

I did not recommend this place to anyone. The staff are very rude and do not pay attention to customers when they need help. They were talking about using drugs while they were customers in line and children around, they were also using obscene language and we're almost out of everything I was there for.
