Excellent food. I had the chicken chimichanga MONSTER. It filled my plate from end to end. It was huge. The entire place is spotless. Super nice waitresses. It's a feel good pleasant place to dine or have a party I Love it. ❤ Located in Shell Knob MO. Excellent margaritas 🍹 too plus cocktail. On hwy 39. Nice Lakeview as well.. Fun place to meet up w friends.Parking: Plenty of parkin. Plus drive up windowKid-friendliness: Absolutely. Kids loved it. Cool waitressesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

The last two times I’ve been here, I had the displeasure of encountering a sandy red headed waitress that is by far the rudest person I have ever met. The first time we went in, we sat at a table and she made us move to a booth in case there was a lunch rush. The owner told us to sit wherever we wanted and that’s where we chose. She still made us move- it was also 2:00 pm so doubtful on a lunch rush. Last night- we stood at the front for 15 minutes and not one waitress greeted us or acknowledged us. Finally someone told us they needed to bus a table- she came back with menus- laid them on the bar- then left again never to be seen again. So we sat at the table that they had bussed for us. We sat for another 10 minutes- again no one greeting us or acknowledging us. The sandy red headed waitress continued to bus tables around us, checked on other tables but still no one came to us. She also took to go orders, cashed people out, etc. After 30 min of nothing, we got up and went to the front and asked if anyone was coming. The same rude waitress aggressively asked us if we saw how busy they were and that they were running around, she also asked if we sat ourselves- she was screaming at us in front of the entire restaurant and beyond disrespectful. I’ve waited tables for 10+ years and never have encountered this type of behavior or professionalism. Do yourself a favor and fire her!!! More people walked out after us too. Will not be back solely because of this waitress.

I’ve been here a couple of times for lunch. 1st time my wife bit into a rock while eating their refried beans. Bad experience. We decided to give them another chance on 2/17/24. I ordered “ Arroz con mariscos”, a seafood platter. I have had it one other time and it was very good. Today I had it and it wasn’t near as good. A few hours later I was throwing up, and had food poisoning from their food. Sadly,, I will never go back, or recommend this place to anyone.

I ate here two years ago and was not impressed. Decided to give it another try and man was we loving it!!! Fantastic drinks, great food!!!! One heck of a great waiter.

First and last time to come here. I was happy to see kind of a nice looking little restaurant right next to the water but that's where the good part ends. Asked for patio seating and was told they didn't have the key, pick a table inside and sit. Whatever, not the end of the world. Ordered cheese dip and guacamole for an appetizer and a Monster Chimichanga. At the time I was one of only two tables sat and it still took 15min for cheese dip to come out, no guacamole. An hour went by and I finally asked where my food might be. I was told they'd check. I finally decided to just leave and asked if the food would be taken off and for the check. Ten minutes later I approached the counter and asked how long I was supposed to wait. I was told they didn't know. Wow. Special 😒. After they walked off not caring, so did I. Terrible "service".

Cada Maya Mexican Grill is so good!We went back and we were not disappointed. I had the enchiladas, a side of rice and we had cheese dip. My wife had chicken, peppers and onions over rice. Others had tacos, chicken enchiladas and burritos... all amazing.They were full to capacity and the servers were hopping but they didn't miss a single refill... everything was perfect.I took a picture of the cheese dip but I guess I was excited for the food and forgot to get more pics. You'll have to take my word for it, it's very good!Clean place, friendly staff and great food. I highly recommend and will go again for sure!

Really enjoyed our lunch. We all got a variety of lunch enchilada specials. Flavoring was good. Good seasoning(I'm used to TexMex). I got the spinach enchilada no cheese. I added guacamole and salsa on top and it was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Will go back again.

The food was good and our waiter was fast and friendly. The kitchen staff were super quick. No one in the entire place waited more than 5 minutes for their meal to be served. Good variety of vegetarian dishes!Vegetarian options: Good variety, not just cheese and beans. They use veggies - spinach, mushrooms, peppers,etc.

The food is great! They need more staff, and need to open up the outdoor seating. They are always packed on the weekends and have long wait times. The staff have a hard time keeping up and sometimes you can tell they are very stressed out trying to keep up. I will continue to return here to eat when on vacation at the lake, I just hope that it gets better.

What a fun time. Unbeknownst to us, our party of 3 arrived after hours but, friendly Junior said he would happily seat us anyway.We ordered the fajitas, enchiladas and quesabirra tacos and 2 flavored margaritas. The service, the drinks and food were all fantastic! I do not live in the state but I will certainly make a stop next time I come to visit Shell Knob. Thank you so much for gracious hospitality, Junior!

We went to Casa Maya today hoping to eat lunch. My husband has type 1 diabetes and his blood sugar was a little low when we got there. So, after waiting 20 minutes to be seated I asked if we could seat ourselves. They seemed short staffed. The worker said no.After waiting an additional 20 minutes we were seated. When we were seated I asked if a certain food would be ready sooner than another. My husbands blood sugar monitor was beeping and he needed some food.Twenty minutes later they had served everyone that was behind us in line. They had chips, salsa, drinks and some even had lunch. I asked the waiter if we could please get chips salsa and drinks. He never returned.I am so so furious!!! My husband has diabetes and you seriously didn’t even come to our table after I nicely asked for service multiple times!!! We left after an hour. I had to get him a candy bar to bring his blood sugar up which is just unacceptable.I just can’t believe how bad our service was.

Love this spot! We've been several time and have tried multiple different dishes. The food is pretty good (fried shrimp wasn't so great, but that's the only thing we haven't liked), but the service is always fantastic. We go primarily for how good their service is. The Camarones a la diabla is actually spicy, which rarely happens in areas like this. Really enjoy Casa Maya!
