I'd rather stop at a Dollar General store for a snack and bathroom break than a regular Service station. If they sold gas, I'd never stop at another Service station. The staff always seems to be friendly, too.

It's always been bad but its maybe worse now. Went for milk and there no milk (two other people we were also there for milk), picked out my other items, wanted to pay cash and stood in line as the first person for 10 minutes and then finally left.

Shelves are always empty. When manager told cashier to stock he said it didn’t need it. I came in for dog food, and I clearly seen it in the back when I was walking past there and I requested he look in the back for it when I gave him the name he failed to go back. Everyone else is great, but going elsewhere

Oh my, where to start...broken down cold case-again-so no cold products available(milk, butter, cheese,)which is the only reason I came to the store; product sitting everywhere on large carts making it hard to get around, staff rude when asked when cold case would be fixed and stocked again. I won't bother coming to this store again, I'll go over to the Dollar General at Forsyth even though it's farther away.

Always come here and the employees are great!But I have a problem with poor upkeep of the facility which is not the employees fault. There is a hole in the ceiling (by the soda shelves) that has been leaking for a while when it rains and now there are 2 more ceiling tiles that are about to bust over product. Management, please show more care for your store.

Worst store ever, shelves always empty. Stock on carts blocking all the lanes. Cashier's always outside smoking. They don't even realize when they have been out of a vendor item for over a week. Poor excuse of a store, employees and management

It's a busy place. Avoid rush times and you will be in and out quick. They have most everything I need except produce. Small grocery section designed for a "fill in item" or forgotten, ran short of, ingedient. Does not replace your grocery store but they have the basics. Also the basics for household and pets. Some hardware and actually good basics on clothes. Friendly staff and though the clothing aisle can get mess6, it's clean and easy to shop.

Staff was friendly locals were helpful but upon check out to locate an employee was to try to insist that the conversation about a locals home life couldn't be stopping her from doing her job, is it‽¿? After more than 5 min of listing to there convo. And having already said "Can you ring me up?" For the second time I decided to simply walk towards the behind the counter area and that finally convinced her to check my items out.

This DG is pretty junkie, the isles are always set up as a obstacle course with piles of stuff waiting to be stocked on shelves, but the piles never actually get put up, just moved around. There are only 2 employees that are full grown adults with common sense, the rest are just in the way and make life harder for anyone they come across, but its a DG so who cares, I still shop there so must not be all bad

My daughter and granddaughter walked to this dollar store to get candy just to the police called on them. My granddaughter is 14 and has never stolen anything in her life. The employee was following them and blocking the isles so they can't pass. The police came and talked to them and let them go because they didn't steal anything. I will never shop at this location again when they treat their customer's like that. Shame on you ladies for way you treat people. Bad customer service.

There is rapid employee turnover here, although every clerk & manager has been very nice in the 3 years I've been a regular customer. That's the high mark - say a 4.5. The rest isn't so good, however. This DG location is rarely organized. The back aisle is usually clogged with stock carts, sometimes the regular aisles. Food shelves are fairly well-stocked & neat. The toy aisle, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, car/hardware aisles & other non-perishable aisles are a mess! I see misplaced items in the same spot for days on end. Bug lights - I buy a lot of incandescent, yellow, GE bug lites. That spot on the shelf has been empty for WEEKS. I don't know why this store can't seem to get it's act together. I visited a DG in Ozark a couple of times recently & I was blown away! Big, brightly lit, very clean, shelves beautifully stocked (labels facing in the same direction!), NO stock carts obstructing aisles. The clerks, too, were neat & attractive, very helpful. They obviously take a lot of pride in their store. Night/day difference to the Rockaway Beach DG location!

If you're not familiar with Dollar General, not everything's a dollar, and they have more stuff than you'd imagine. Quality wise their food is decent--better than you'll find at a gas station, maybe not as good as you'll find at a larger store. But sometimes you want a 2 minute drive to get a gallon of milk and not a 20 minute one and this Dollar General fits the bill.

Corporate , management , and regular hourly employees do not communicate effectively or enough and there is never enough cashiers on duty ever at any of the locations within five mile radius ! Shelves r not thoroughly stocked with products or have any organization because of management scheduling of employees, and expecting employees to complete two duties simultaneously under corporate strict rules and regulations which have tied the hands of management . I see fresh faces every time I go into this store because they hired 10- 25 ppl but swing shift them week to week AnD locations

i hate having to go to this store but with it being the only close one i dont have a choice at times. Why do I need to remove my hood? Its cold if you didnt notice. Also every time I put money on my card the chick always makes a comment about how I dont look old enough to be doing that. And this time had the audacity to say '"yeah I can put money on there if this isnt a fraud" what does that even mean, and why cant you keep your comments to yourself?

Rude employees. Not willing to even pretend to assist you if needed. They have an extremely high turn over rate, which is most likely because they will label just about anyone as "manager" and "key holders." Terrible and ridiculous incident this week, with a self proclaimed manager??? who knows considering there wasn't another employee in sight or throughout the store, for a place of business.

I am NOT happy with this store.FIRST OF ALL your employee Jessica had called the cops on my boyfriend just for LOOKING AT chocolate milk. He NEVER walks into that store looking to steal something. That is b.s! Instead of jumping to conclusions she could have simply walked up to him and asked him politely what he was doing. On top of that! She has made me wait numerous of times!!! Just last week or two weeks ago there was a long line with about 5 people at Deb's cashier, and there were only 2!!!!!! At Jessica's! I went to jessicas register since the lines were piling up at Deb's just so it would out less stress on her. It was SUPER UNBELIEVABLE THAT SHE MADE ME WAIT FOR 6 MINUTES IN A LINE WITH TWO PEOPLE! She sat there talking and laughing with the customers and she KNEW I was behind them because she LOOKED AT ME!!! not shortly after Deb was FINISHED with the last 5 she came over and took over at her register and Jessica was STILL wasting an extra 2 minutes of MY time to talk to Deb. So I am VERY unhappy with HER!!SECOND I've been hearing that you guys have a certain employee named Tosha who has been LYING to get other people FIRED!LYING???? THAT IS TRASH! AND UNBELIEVABLE! So! On the BEHALF of those who have been getting in trouble by toshas lies, and BECAUSE of Jessica WASTING my time and calling the cops on MY friends, I will NO longer be visiting that store.If it's one thing I hate it's LIARS!!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! FIX THE SITUATION!!!! I am just beyond disappointed to know that people like that work at a "customer friendly" store.

Badly ran shelves are always empty will isles are always cluttered with stock and it's not the customers job to pilfer through the unstocked boxes of stock on the floor to get what you went there to get and 4 employees behind the counter with 1 employee checking out a line of customers while the other 3 are yapping. So instead of yapping stock needs to be be put away instead of using them as an obstacle course in the Isle and or help check out the line of customers

It's like when you go in the door there's a rack ready to knock you out. Then there's boxes on the floor better than 60 percent of the isle have to jump them. The toy isles insane have to duck stuff hanging off shelves then the isle are to narrow have to squeeze by pepole no room.. then you stand in this long line while the cashier has no sense of time and talks to friends customers. Like its a Sunday bbq at your mommas. And if you get by all that you get to the register to find stuff not Really on sale. I'd have a easier time completing the American ninja obstacle course. Thanks you have a sad state of affairs

If I could give this store a 0 I would! It's a damn mess! Everything is everywhere, there's no room to walk with out tripping over something, and being 9 months pregnant that's a law suit waiting to happen! The stickers on prices are inaccurate and are out of date or labeled wrong. When I go shopping and see a price on the item, that's what I expect to pay! Clean it up or tear it down and put in a Walmart!

This is the worst Dollar General I have been to I can't stand to even go to this Dollar General it always messy the shelf's aren't even organized and the last 2 times I have a been here there have been stuff on the clarence table and doesn't even ring up half off even though there's a ton of them on the table. They really need to get.there stuff together and organized!!!!?

Inventory may be low only cuz they bizzy all the time, to much demand not enough stock but theres alway sum stocking the shelves,so that's gd...All the guys an gals that work there Yins are always friendly an helpful, when I'm in the area its the go to place for pretty much wantever I need at the best cost, I feel, God bless all yins that what work there u r appreciated...

Clerk made a false police report against me because I parked on the side of the building because I am disabled and the 2 handicap parking spots were both full. Today a client overheard the manager slandering me on the phone. Manager stated I couldn't come back but she didn't know I had already called her boss about her conduct earlier. All that for some chicken strips. Lol. Buyers beware.

This place always has what I need in stocks for those quick pick ups.friendly staff and all the stores are laid out the same depending on size of store. There is a little bit of savings too.
