12/19/2023 Approx...11:45 a.m.Found everything I needed and someone came up and asked me if I needed any help. Many times before I haven't been able to find help without hunting all over for an employee. Today was not that experience. I had a young lady help me (I wish I could remember her name) She came right up to me with a smile on her face and asked if I needed help. She helped me find what I was looking for and when she didn't know something....she didn't act like she did...she found the answer for me. Rare to find in my experiences with this location. Thank you young lady for your kindness. It helped me remember that not everyone at that location is unkind or uncaring. I appreciate you.

Couldn't tell you how many times these employees sit around talking in the early mornings. 1 cash register open and full and 3 guys talking over by the closed checkouts and powered down self checkouts. Home depot can't find good employees let alone plug them! Lmao what a joke!

Super duper place to find your home building supplies and any other type of In-House fixture or appliance or building AIDs that you might need and if I'm there I always ask for their employee Richard to help me because he seems like one of the most knowledgeable employees they have although I think he only works part-time can I go there whenever I need to find something that might be hard to find it other similar stores

My rating is not a result of the people or products within Home Depot. It is a direct result of HD corporate policies that maximize profits over service.HD and Lowe's are always in sync and step-for-step when it comes to profits over where those profits originate, the customers.Self checkout stations with no assisted registers open except for one at the far end of the store. This allows HD to reduce wages, saving them on overhead.There are far fewer employees on the floor, which makes the customer wait much longer than they should (or leave), and that too works in HDs favor.As a retired military customer, getting the military/veteran discount is something I have to work for. Every year, I have to prove to HD I am still alive and still a veteran. Despite carrying my DoD issue ID card (or the VA medical card, or the blue V on my state issued driver's license), proving I'm a veteran, I'm still denied my discount even on the dwindling number of items I am allowed the discount on.Home Depot makes their money off of people like me, but people like me are simply a means to an end for the pockets of HD executives.Guess what? Ace Hardware gives me a military discount on everything, every day. There is no self checkout station, and they have plenty of people there to help.

Called 2 hrs before closing needing information about availability on wire. I was transferred to the dept only to be put on hold, np. The call was picked up and put on hold 4 times then finally they hung up. Drove to the store to find out no one was working the wire dept that evening. Seems to me someone should have known this and just said told me. So in the end I did get some wire but at 8:30 @ night the pressure is on to be sure and get all the materials you need. The store manager was nice and did price match with Menards. That was the best part of the entire trip. If you can't get anyone from the dept you wish to speak to on the phone, chances are no one can help you when you arrive either. Stay home and try again later or somewhere else.

When did over a half hour for curbside service. Because they didn't hear the phone ring. Once I pulled it up on the computer there was. Manhattan jerk help us.

I don’t go here very often because Menards is closer to the exit and I don’t live in town, so it’s just more convenient. I will be making the trip across town to go to Home Depot more often. Their selection is absolutely amazing, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the store was very clean, and everything was pretty easy to find, even though I had no idea where to look. The signage was very helpful.

They ALWAYS take good care of me at Home Depot in Poplar Bluff! If you have a plumbing issue go talk to Andy in the plumbing dept. If you need a new appliance go talk to DJ in the appliance section. Those guys really know what they are doing. Also, I love my new stove, refrigerator, dish washer, water heater, microwave, etc.

The poplar bluff store and employees have always been helpful. It’s when you order stuff online and have it shipped to store or home is a joke. They have had to reorder multiple times on multiple items and still can’t get in what you ordered without being damaged. Now if you place an online order and they don’t have it in stock like it states when you place the order, they send a random item that you wait for 2 weeks to find out 1 that it is damaged and 2 that it isn’t even what you ordered. They said that they have seen this happen before.

My cousin and I went in and she was looking at paint swatches and I’ll assume Logan in the paint department overheard us walked up and within five minutes he helped us pick out the paint and everything we needed. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product and accessories to help her make the correct purchase. Thank you Logan for making our shopping experience wonderful.

Pretty much got everything there for our remodel. We make sure we only go there for Friday night date night now . Don't judge. Or if I need to grab something for my business, wait.....sometimes if we are just passing by and remember something we need. Or it looks like it's not so busy. They open early and occasionally I stop before work and grab a bang drink or two because they open early.
