Employees are always nice. Never have to look for a worker. Yes they have their rolltainers out with freight, but it's not too bad most days and honestly name ONE DG that doesn't have those on the sales floor. It was a little messy the last time I visited, but normally not too bad.

I go to this store daily and I have never had a problem until tonight with a man name Adam and rose refused service to me and I am going to complain more then this I had 20 bucks in dimes they tried to say they didn’t way so I was going to count it out and they told me I couldn’t just straight up told me they wouldn’t except it so before I pulled out of parking lot I counted it and it was all there so I did like this store like I said I go there daily this was rude my money still spends even if it’s rolled up they should have counted it and once they seen it was all there go check there scale I’ve spent change here before as well this was the first time in 3 years anyone has weight it the rose lady and Adam was very rude like I enjoy having to spend change I’ve been a loyal customer at this location these two people was the first experience I’ve had bad here.

They are short staffed. One person simply cannot run the register and put stock away and straighten the store. Your item might be on a cart that has yet to be put away. So be patient and kind with the store clerk. They need it!

They can use some help at this place. Stock just sitting around not being put away. 2 people working a busy store. Stood in line for 30 mins. 1 register going. 10 people in line. Self checkout no help . Only set to take cards.

They greated me when I came through the door. It was cluttered in a few areas because they were restocking the shelves. Thank God they had plenty of the 12 packs of Lipton Citrus Green Tea in the bottles. Glad they had my 12 pack of Pepsi's on sale. Their Starbuck's cold Mocha coffee is cheaper than most other places.

The shelf can be somewhat bare at times. For the most they try their best to keep it stocked. The associates are amazing and extremely helpful.

I went to the Dollar General on the south side and I was treated very poorly and I should have called the corporate but I let the manager deal with it and truthfully I hope that young man is not allowed to work at any more Dollar Generals it's not the first time that he showed a lack of respect for someone a lot older bought a lack of respect for the customer that buys the stuff that pays his paycheck I don't know if he's prejudiced against White but I did not appreciate the way that I was treated multiple times in this last month so I may not shop the Dollar General at the South Side anymore I do love all of the people that work at the one on the east side and in the mall in the valley Mansion Mall Zara Mansion Mall awesome people treat everybody great good attitudes willing to help stop what they're doing to help you find something that's their job and they do it very well and with a smile and no attitude and I love that

Service is great and employees are very nice and quick to help you find something that you couldn't find on your own. They treat people with respect and greet them with a "hello how are you doing today" when someone walks in the door. Makes me and other people feel good about shopping in there store and we will keep going back. The Dollar General store on south main street in Poplar Bluff Missouri is the best dollar general store I've been to and is my favorite place to shop at at they have cheap prices on everything.

Friendly and helpful staff, rough part of town. This is the location you see the meth addicts happily tweaking out down the isles and people loitering outside like they're looking to mug someone as they give you dirty looks. No issues with the store itself.

The store feels cluttered but the staff is super friendly. I was having trouble with a digital coupon and the manager, who was not clocked in, came up to assist the associate, cutting her lunch short. They were so nice and helpful.

Whoever the lady was that wasworking tonight 8/10/16 was so rude I've never been treated so poorly at a dollar general in my life. I asked a question about the digital coupon and she just kept saying thank you have a good night louder and louder everytime I tried to ask a simple question. Then she shoved my laundry soap at me and walked away. I dont think she was wearing a name tag or I would have got her name. IM SO DISAPPOINTED I CANT BELIEVE THE WAY I WAS TREATED!! I spent a lot of money at that store but no longer will I be going there!!

Long waits in line, no restrooms, no coke nor premium ice cream when there once was. It's a bus terminal with elderly, disabie people force to wait with no place to sit or rest. Loyal patrons.

I ORDERED ALMOST $35.00 WORTH OF FOOD AND THE DRINKS WERE ALL WRONG, WE GOT THE WRONG SANDWICHES AND THE FOOD WAS NOT UP TO PAR, WE WOULD HAVE WENT BACK AND TOOK THE FOOD BACK , BUT WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS IN ST. This location usually has everything you need, and it's the only store on this side of poplar Bluff. It needs another employee though, because there is always a line and only one cashier.

It says online they do western union and signs everywhere when i get there low on gas and lady says she can't do it unless i use dollar store app...why have western union??but hey i mean its surely a dollar store
