The employees here are all super nice and really helpful. The selection is actually pretty great considering it's a small grocery store with inexpensive food. The quality of the food is also great, I've never bought anything from here that turned out to taste bad, or was expired. Very professional during COVID season as well, makes me feel a lot safer when I do my shopping!

Ironically, this is now the most expensive grocery store in town. If you want to "save a lot", go to the nearest Aldi. If you want to pay the same prices but with a far better selection and superior customer service, go to B&H.

A lot of people don't realize that they have meat cutters in house. Awesome steaks for a third of the price per pound as average in the whole surrounding St Louis area.

I like shopping at Sav a lot! I have always felt safer there until today. please have cashiers wear a mask! Unvaccinated people are supposed to wear a mask but people aren’t always honest. Droplets fall all over your food when they are ringing one up. Thank you!

I find the produce there to be the best I've seen in a save a lot store. There is a small amount of selection of brands of canned food and frozen. The store is always clean. Their restrooms are always clean. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable about their stock.

After a rough depressing week struggling with life's grim circumstances and mean people, at the end of my budget, tired with kids in tow right before store closing, I faltered being a dollar or so short at the checkout, and the cashier gave me the difference from her own personal account to help me. I was overwhelmed with gratitude by her act of generosity. It's been a long time since I've encountered such kindness. I was so moved by her kind act i almost cried. This employee's selfless compassion had a profound heartwarming affect upon me that lingered after I left the store and made me believe again that there are inherently good people. I was gifted my milk, and with it i was given more, I was given a restored view of the goodness in people. This caring worker won my loyalty to this store, and she left me wanting to do good for others. This store truly encapsulates an idealized small town ethic and the kind employee deserves a raise.

The employees are sincerely polite, and good selection throughout ... the older store really gives the small town feel...the parking lot is smooth, but has a grade to it...no problem for most, but maybe difficult for one whos handicapped...with other stores closer, im 20 miles from Save A Lot and shop there weekly, if not twice weekly...i recommend it highly..Viva Save A Lot!

Reasonable prices, expanded hours - open to 9pm most evenings, and they have the fair selection of most items you would need. They do not have a deli, nor fresh prepared foods but its a good stop for basics.

We like this place. Lots of fresh produce today and bakery Goods. Some meat, including chicken. Dairy items like milk and sour cream and yogurt and eggs. nice people work there.

The butcher here is fantastic! They do a red card sale every so often and have phenomenal deals on meat. The produce can be pretty decent too but when I'm looking for cuts of meat, I look here

Like aldis with not a lot of healthy or organic options. Update, I upgraded 1 star because they do have a large selection of groceries. Just wish there were more organic and non MSG options.

I really like save a lot, the meat there is excellent weather it's pork, beef or chicken, and the prices are great too. I recommend you go shop there and give them a try. I dont think you'll be disappointed.

Not a whole lot of options at this Save A Lot. Staff was very nice and store was very clean. I didn't find all the things I needed and had to go to another grocery store

Great prices on most items, and a very friendly staff make this one of my most frequently visited local stores.The produce and meat markets are slightly subpar. I would recommend planning your shopping accordingly.

The prices are average. There's a decent number of items but not much variety brand wise. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of room in the store.
