It was strange to walk into a bank and find a diner, but Snowensville has done some cool things with the place. The kids enjoyed the vault arcade, and the young fella behind the counter was very eager to take our order. I would go again, but I'll order something different. The garlic butter burger taught me that there really can be too much garlic on something, though the burger itself was quite tasty. I look forward to bringing the kids for ice cream on a day they're a little less hyper.Kid-friendliness: Our littles (8 and 3) had a blast in the arcade vault, and the games were just about perfect for their age level.

They are always late by at least an hour, food has been burnt and you pay extra for sides and don't receive them so by the time you do get your food and find out you have things missing you don't want to go back and deal with the already rude people that work there. Prices are already high. For not having very many places to eat at, is how I think they keep people coming back. My family has given too many chances with these same results.

Traveling through Missouri and came across this gem. So good we came back!. Find it, the owner is are Great and the food is better! Hands down, the greatest diner I have come across yet.The BEST catfish filet I have EVER had.Corn fritter hushpuppies!!!! Who does that?? Took me way back to my childhood. Seasoned shoestring French fries. Didn't even use the tartar sauce, the fish was just THAT good!!! I'll be back tomorrow for a burger. I can't wait!Kid-friendliness: Dan has a nice arcade built into the old safe for the bank that used to be there. All the money from the games gets donated to the young people working in the restaurant who are going to college. Such a great thing to do!

This is the place !!!! Fresh hot food ! Delicious ! Everyone is so friendly. The chicken strips are HUGE and so juicy. The fries are the best anywhere. I’m never disappointed with Snowensville! Regardless if we dine in or out, doesn’t matter what we order, it’s always fresh and delicious! I’m a total foody and I can usually find something to complain about lol but not with Snowensville . If you haven’t tried it yet I would suggest to you do!

Took a drive heading out to Lost Valley Lake and stopped by Snowensville Diner for lunch because I heard it was the best wing, burger, and fish place around. They did not disappoint! The owner Dan made it a point to make sure that our group had a memorable experience. You can tell when a business cares about your business. The handicap accessible bathroom was a godsend for a couple people in my group with recent knee injuries. 10/10 Will definitely be back!

I came to this dinner because a review said they have fresh lemonade. We ordered the chicken bowl and the garlic butter and it wasn't good at all. The burger tasted like it came out of the freezer and the chicken wasn't good. The lemonade is definitely not fresh. This is the first "diner" I have been to that I had to go get my own utensils and throw away my own paper plate. I would never come back. My partner and I bearly ate the food I can ses why this place was empty.

The fried chicken is fried fresh when you order. I had the tenders and my husband had the bone-in fried chicken. Everything was tender, juicy and hot! Much better than chicken that's been sitting under a heat lamp. They have a good selection of sides too. You order at the counter and they bring your food out when it is ready. You bus your own table when you are done. They have a small vending area with coin operated cheap toy stuff and an addictive coin drop machine thing. They use the money from the vending machines for local scholarships which is really cool.

Just wanted to give Snowensville and their staff a shout-out. We brought quite a group yesterday during our youth basketball tournament in Owensville. If you know Owensville, there aren’t many places that have a large space with a real kid friendly menu. They weren’t aware of the tournament, and had a HUGE group in their banquet hall already. We arrived and the place was packed. They warned us about seating and we had hours to kill so we stayed. It took a bit to get our food due to the banquet hall, but we didn’t mind as again, we had 4 hours Until our next game. Our food came out about 40 min after we ordered and it was well worth the wait. HUGE thank you to them for allowing us to stay and communicating everything from the get go. Our Spring Bluff 5th Grade boys team appreciated the hospitality and we can’t wait to come back once you get your ice cream up and going. Food was great, staff was great. AND when you leave a tip, it goes into a scholarship fund for any senior students they employ. How cool is that!? Great Job Snowensville, we will be back!Kid-friendliness: They have a little arcade for the kids which helped keep them busy during our wait.

My boyfriend and I had our monthly lunch date here. Very clean and great customer service!! The gentleman greeted us with a smile and hello. Quick ordering process and had our food within 15 minutes. Great little game area..proceeds from the ganes are put into scholarships (believe that is what we were told) for local students!! Went a couple times in the last few months and ate inside, the lady who took our order was super welcoming and friendly, and they got our order out in no time at all. The chicken bowl was amazing and the burger was very good as well! But the best food of all we had most recently, was the fried chicken. Within the last four days we’ve had it twice now because the first time was just so absolutely delicious, that we needed it again already today. I want to personally recommend the brown gravy with the mashed potatoes because it’s freaking amazing. Both times they’ve had our meals ready to go for pick up in twenty minutes, which is amazing for fried chicken orders, and has been fresh as can be! Also want to say that both times it has fed two people two times, for under thirty bucks. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be continuing to order from here!

My husband and I were shopping at an antique store in town and they recommended Snowensville Diner. I'm so glad we tried it. We were greeted with a hello and a genuine smile. Our food was delivered quickly and it was hot and delicious!! A friendly gentleman came out and asked how everything was. When we told him it was our first visit, he explained how everything is made fresh in store. He then asked if we noticed their small arcade, and told us they own every machine, and proceeds go to local kids as scholarships! We played a few claw machines before we left, and actually left with a couple of prizes. Can't wait to get back. Delicious cheeseburger and shoestring fries!!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is the best I’ve ever seen! The moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. During the order you are shown kindness and laughter no matter how busy they are. The chicken is the best I’ve ever had: full of flavor and love. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and man can you tell. This is by far the best small town restaurant I’ve been to, and I’m happy to have it!

Place is a modern but old style diner built in the shell of an old bank. There’s even a vault in which to lock up the kids. Now, these cats been perfecting their lemonade game for twelve years and they’re gonna tell you all about it whether you like it or not, but you’ll understand why when you take em up on it. I tried the peach-n-ade and found it mighty refreshing after hours on the road. Also got me a fried chicken sam with fries and all the fixins, that too proved a treat. Weren’t too ‘spensive, neither. So glad they were still open for me that evening, whereas most other joints in town was already closed. Good on you, Snowden, and God bless.
