I have been going to Karen's for almost 2 years, I love the way my poodle looks when he is done. Unfortunately I have to find a new groomer due to no Saturday appointments through 2024. I would recommend them If you don't need weekend appointments

Mariah M. everything you said is so true. The only difference in my case, I DID receive a call to pick up my baby and while waiting I heard them yelling for the fur babies to stay STILL. Broke my heart😥. Was the last time I visited and had been a faithful client - every 6-8 weeks. Also, my dog had begun to 'not wanting to enter the front door' when I dropped him off - was starting to be a red flag for me. I'm just her to speak on the truth.Jan 2024 ... My reply back to Karen's Groomer response. I did not just come up on my own. YOU called me to pick up my fur baby (after he had done a whole 8 hour shift at your salon 🙄). You just didn't realize that I was in the waiting area and heard the mess you was spewing at the poor dog on your table.

The service has gone down over the years which is unfortunate because they are reasonably priced. Today I arrived 30 mins prior to closing thinking my dog would be ready as I dropped him off at his appointment time of 9am. I dont see why any dog should be in a crate for over 8 hours, but when I arrived I was met with attitude because he wasn't done yet and they hadnt called me to come in. I now see why they dont want anyone waiting in the lobby because as I'm waiting, I hear the 2 groomers yelling and fussing at the dogs to stay still. As an animal lover, that was it for me. A trained groomer should know how to calm and manage the animals without yelling and screaming.

Karen's Grooming does an outstanding job on my little fur baby. She needs her hair cut about every three months. They are genuine pet lovers. I moved to the area a year ago and it's the best haircut my fur baby has ever had.

She did a great job! She took the time to listen to what I wanted done and did it. I've taken my dogs too many different places Pet Co, Pets Mart mobile groomers other groomers and been very unhappy with the results. Karen is very knowledgeable on all breeds she did a great job on my Old English Sheepdogs. I already booked my next appointment. I highly recommend her. My boys came home with clean ears and no water in them that was a big plus🐾❤

Great place! Very knowledgeable and skilled! My dogs are always beautiful when they come home from Karen's! Karen is also great at giving advice/guidance on skin and food! She knows what she is doing, that is for sure. Best grooming place I've been to in St. Louis. Most importantly, my dogs love going to Karen's Grooming!

We had a wonderful experience here! When I picked Marley up she pranced and paraded out. Her soft shiny coat and cute little bow made her feel like a new woman! I’m pretty sure like every girl she just needed a day of beauty! Thank you for taking care of my 9 year old golden / lab mix. While my girl is pretty low maintenance they did a great job with her and like any proud mom loves to hear, they told me “She did good today!”

We brought in both dogs for nail trims and toothbrushing,, it was quick the dogs behaved - for me it's yelping and growling and pulling, not worth me doing it when they stand still for groomers and the cost is cheap. Thanks!

I have been to Karen's twice and was satisfied both times. My dogs look great and have short nails. Karen scheduled my dogs for future appointments so I don't have to remember to call in the future and that is a great thing for me.

We made an appointment for first thing in the morning for our small dog and didn't get to pick him up until past 5pm. No dog should be locked in a cage for over 8 hours when other groomers are done in 2 to 4 hours. They never called us or gave us any updates, even as their posted closing time passed. We drove by and noticed the workers were too busy standing outside smoking to focus on grooming. When we picked our dog up 2 hours after closing time, there was no apology or even an explanation as to why it took so long. $50 for this poor type of service is ridiculous, we will definitely not be back. Update: Check out the super rude reply from Karen's...I think it speaks for itself lol. You can see just how friendly and welcoming they are, unprofessional as they come. Apparently appointment times mean nothing and it is first come, first serve, even if it means locking your dog up all day. What a terrible way to run a business!

We brought our dogs there for the 1st time a month or so ago for nail cutting and we were so pleasantly surprised. You are awesome!! Our dogs loved being there and everyone was so professional and caring. We will definitely be back here in a few days.

We have been to Karen’s Grooning twice. We are so happy with the results. Our little Golden Doodle looked gorgeous! Karen is so reasonable, and we were very happy with the cost. we are going again this week!🤗

I'd recommend Karen's Grooming for your Westie's. She does a good job on Terrier's. She likes Tashi & our Westie; Tashi likes her as well. She does a good "puppy cut" as well as an adult Terrier cut. Karen's prices are comparable to other groomer's. Karen insists that all the dogs arrive at about 8 am by appointment only; so that she can wash all the dogs in the same time frame (early morning), then cut them, then do nails, etc... (in the following - same time frames, etc...). All the dogs are generally ready for pickup between 4 and 5:30 pm, (which makes for a very long day for all the dogs, which I'm not especially happy about). We live about 26 miles south of Karen's Grooming & getting Tashi there at 8 am, & picking her up between 4 & 5:30 pm, puts us "smack dab" in the middle of the heaviest rush hour traffic both directions & at both times (which is my biggest issue with going to her salon). When my husband can drop Tashi off before work, it's not nearly as much of a hassle to get Tashi there. She does a good job, but for us, the "traffic time" is a bit of a problem. I'd recommend Karen if you can get through the traffic because she does a good job & the dogs seem to like her! *NOTE: Always go past the street entrance on Weldon Parkway... instead: turn directly into the side entrance of the strip mall - just 30 ft. past Weldon Parkway, as oncoming traffic on Weldon Parkway is a T-bone accident just waiting to happen - when you turn left into her strip mall space!

I have a very high maintenance poodle mix who is hyperactive and a handful. Karen and her team have gone above and beyond to work with this sometimes obstinate pup. My dog always looks forward to going to Karen's and hurtles out of the car to see them. Definitely recommend!

Never again. Creve Coeur Grooming left my cat in his carrier for 8 hours without letting him use the litter box and without grooming him. The cat sat there all day; marinating in his own feces and urine.I deeply regret taking my cat to Creve Coeur Grooming. They didn't even let him out.
