Bought a 2 year old motley boa from here. Snake seemed healthy and great at the store. We were told he was eating regularly and all was good. We got him home did a week of isolation. Then offered food. While offering we discovered he was infested with mites. We began treating this with warm water baths and sanitizing his enclosure. We continued to offer weekly food and he did not accept.We assumed the mites were the cause and continued treating. Yesterday he gave a half hearted attempt at eating then regurgitated shirt toy after. Fast forward to this morning and the snake was all but dead, seizing in the corner of his enclosure. Snake was purchased on 4/14. I am not an beginner reptile keeper. This is not normal. I would not buy anything from these people again. I now get to explain to my 4 year old why her new best friend Walter is dead.UPDATE: posted on their Facebook page and post was removed and I was blocked from their page.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their pets. I bought pet toys while I was there that have held up fairly well and are loved by my dog. They have quite the variety of animals as well.

Staff is as friendly as they are amazing. They know exactly what I'm looking for when I come in and go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. They have a wide selection of exotic animals and are the only place I've found near me that have live feeder rodents.

Very nice. Clean. Good fish room. Birds and critters look well taken care of but are very pricey. Their dead fish guarantee sucks tho'. 2 days with a water test. I won't be buying my fish from them.

Very impressive store! Biggest aquarium/fish section Ive seen outside of the big chain pet stores. Absolutely massive and diverse aquatic creatures available for viewing and super knowledgeable staff to help you with your purchases. Reasonable pricing. Make sure to check out the back right side of the store. During my first visit they had the largest corn snake i've seen in my life!

I've been going to this place for well more than a decade. It used to be located in the Gladstone area by the Metro-North mall. It's a large and welcoming clean new location over in Liberty. I specifically went to go purchase fish. Their prices are not the most affordable, but they have a good selection and amazing animals on display, which are not for sale. Go visit to see their giant snakes and fish, and buy some stuff too.

Drove 2 hours to come here. Large selection of all sorts of animals. We came for tarantulas. They looked well cared for, and priced good as well. Lots of cage options, and feeders. Staff was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Totally worth the visit.

Best fish store in KC. But selection is same old same old most of the time. Moved further from the city and started closing at 6 everyday. If you wanna go get some fish stuff you better take off work early and drive as fast as you can because they don’t mess around with closing time…

I'd like to begin this by saying this store has a great variety of fish. The people are nice and very knowledgeable about the pets. I had a great experience, however I must say the reason why I'm giving such a bad review. I heard about this pet store and saw the reviews online. I wanted to check it out and drove from my home near St. Joseph, Missouri to this store. I bought 3 Silver Dollar Fish, 6 Pristella Tetras, 1 Hillstream Loach, and 3 Aquatic Plants. I was happy with the purchase and went home. The next day I noticed my Hillstream Loach died. I drove down to the store and asked for a refund. I had a water sample with me. Unfortunately my water tested bad. I asked if there was anything they could do and they said they had to follow their policies. Not only was I out $25, I was out my time and gas. Let me make this clear, the store people were very friendly. I'm upset over the fact I drove over 50 miles and wasn't offered some sort of offering to at least make my time worth it. For that reason I'm not going to shop here again. I would recommend Pet-Topia since they are within 9 miles of this place and I've had nothing but good luck with that place. Thank you for your time.

This was an amazing shop! All the animals looked healthy, their habitats were humid and clean (besides expected normal wear), they had an amazing selection of tarantulas, snakes, fish, and some very cute birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. I wish this shop was in my area!

This is one of the best pet stores I've been to in a long time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable; letting my niece hold their rabbits. there were plenty of amazing animals and the selection of treats and toys was great. All of the animals seemed really well taken care of.

We have purchased a few pets ( bunny and guinea pig) from here. They've been healthy and in great condition.We also buy feeder rodents for our snake here and we always get healthy feeders as well. When we first came in to get feeders, we were clueless. The staff is very knowledgeable, is very helpful and always guides us to what we need. They don't try to upsell or sell you things you don't need. We don't go anywhere else now.UPDATE: Still a reliable, great place to get fish, rodents, small animals and reptiles.

We got this Fluval fish tank from here it’s worked out really well so far. Very easy to set up and manage. The staff member knew every answer that we had to every question and guided us in the right direction purchasing all the items we needed in order to get it set it proper.

I went to get a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit and right away found one I liked. The staff knew the exact age and a young man helped us who had raised house rabbits. He gave us good tips and I felt we walked out with a good pet and the right stuff to help it thrive. Thank you for making my birthday present memorable. You have my loyalty.

When it comes to a variety of freshwater fish at reasonable price, look to Miles of Exotics! I've been pleased with their knowledge, friendly customer service, and help answering questions when I come in. Need your tank water tested?
