You know what I love about this place? Everything. It's so easy to get there, find what you need, get into the water, book a reservation online. The staff at Riverfront are very friendly. Clearly Riverfront has their act together. Plus it's a positive environment for families. Appreciate the updates they've made to the entrance out by the road. Awesome!! The effort they put into leveling out the gravel areas for rafts. It's not steep and easy to utilize. Thank you for adding gravel to the upper put-in area. It was easy to get stuck there if not paying attention to where we park. Thanks for filling in all the potholes and making an effort to provide 1st class accommodations. Why go anywhere else when Riverfront provides it all? Thank you for all you do!

They don't do proper inspection while giving the cabin to next guest. I booked Dry-creek cabin for 2days(10/6-10-8), on first daythey forgot to keep the heater inside our cabin and whole night we stayed in the frizzing cold .On second day after requesting , they gave a heater but the single light in the cabin stopped working and we used our phone light in the night time.I was told to get a call from Riverfront , till now I haven't heard anything back.First time experience was little bit disappointing but the location is really good for camping.Nearby activities: You can do water activities in the river

We had a great time camping and floating! The staff was so friendly, the campground was beautiful with a clean bath house, they have a little store which has lots to offer if you forget something. The float trip went amazing and smooth. My husband left his phone in the dry bag in his kayak, we thought for sure it was gone, but the staff went above and beyond to help him find it. They took us to were they store the kayaks and helped us look for it..it was found!

I just spent five days at Riverfront. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The security team is always watching to make sure you and your family are safe. I had a great time and I got to meet a lot of good people. I would definitely recommend Riverfront to anyone looking for the best place on the Niangua river to camp. I rated the rooms as five stars however I am a tent camper but I must say that the tent sites that are available are five star worthy! Amen.

We’ve been coming to Riverfront for many years and have never been anything but happy with the experience. Amazing well maintained and managed campground. This place has it all, y’all! They can accommodate any size group, any sized rig; from the biggest coach all the way down to the individual tent. They have cabins of all sizes too! The staff are amazing and friendly, and go out of their way to help. The grounds are secure and safe, especially on holiday weekends. Of course it’s all about the River and their float trips are awesome! Can’t say enough good things about Riverfront Campground & Canoe 🤩Nearby activities: Fishing at Bennett Springs. Floating the Niangua River. Bar & Grill just down the road. Playgrounds for the kids. Sand volleyball. Clean showers and restrooms. General store onsite.Walkability: Huge campground that you could easily get your steps in walking around.Noteworthy details: So many options here. Literally every type of camping and floating is available at Riverfront. Oh and it’s affordable too!

Can't give much details on the cabins, but I can on rental, river, and restrooms.River was warm, surprisingly. Takes about 6 hours at a leisure pace. Not a lot of shaded areas, and with the Missouri sun, sunscreen didn't help a lot.Restrooms (as far as men's) are all "stalls" with shower curtains instead of doors. They do have magnets to hold onto the edge.Rentals for rafts and tubes are pretty good, they're in good condition. Good for about 6 people, or 4 people and a cooler.

We have been down camping/floating every Labor Day weekend for several years. The staff is always more than helpful, they have a fully stocked camp store, and the open campsite layout is perfect. My family and I just love this place and plan to return yearly.

Love camping here. I'm sorry that things didn't work out the way I planned it on our last trip we had some miscommunications but the owner worked things out. This is one of my favorite places to camp and have camped here over 10 times. Next time we camp here I will be sure to get everything done right so no problems happen. This is our go-to camping place. All the other places that I've been to haven't been as great as Riverfront has been. They are always implementing new and better things each year. I'm looking forward to seeing what all they do each year.

If you want to party and blare your music until 130am, this is the place to go! Their "no music past 11pm" rule is not enforced! And if you want to crank it back up at 7am, go for it!! As loud as you want, just make sure every site along the peaceful river can hear it, that's how it's done here!We were hoping for a peaceful weekend, it was the end of September so we assumed it would be a nice time. At least the river was nice, the bathrooms were clean and the bus driver was nice and helpful, but you can find those at almost any campground. I would hate to be there during their peak season.

I had a whole big post about this place and now it's gone! Basically we really liked it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the bathrooms had leaves and junk everywhere so when I tried to step out I got ickies all over my feet. Toilets were good and believe it or not the water pressure in the shower was excellent! The workers were super nice, the sites were quiet and while I don't enjoy curtain doors on bathrooms, it did help with air flow. We would go back.

I really like it here. This is the only place I've camped at more than once. The store stays open late with a good selection. There is a swimming spot off some of the primitive sites. The float trip is a good one with many options. The people on the river are great. I have only primitive camped here and will continue to do so.People should REALLY pick up their own trash but someone had thrown some dirty baby diapers right at the entrance to the johnny and they were gone the next day.

This is my 2nd time coming here , and my BF and I love it. We love the staff , because they were so nice to us even when we came back a little late from our float. They said it's was ok and made us feel so welcomed. I highly suggest you get around to meeting Burt he is a true gem ! The rooms were clean and the A.C worked very well. Bathroom were clean and the float was great. We will come back soon ! If you like cats. They also have a super friendly check in cat that will always greet you !

Our experience was very good at Riverfront. The camp was well cared for and the bathrooms were clean with plenty of space and hot water. We had a minor delay with our shuttle but management was very friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to fix the situation. We will be using Riverfront for our future camping and floating trips.

First time staying at a float+camp venue. It was really nice. Our group had some kiddos. A family friendly, chill, and laid back. Grateful that there were showers and toilets not too far to walk to if the port a john is not your thing, lol.The river service is great too. They'll help you inflate any floaties you bring, they'll bus you back to camp. It was so nice to not have to worry about it or plan for that.I would definitely stay here again. ❤️Nearby activities: River floatSafety: Felt safe the whole time. No stranger danger

Want to start by saying thank you for allowing us volunteers to come and help run the Raised at Full Draw youth archery camp for the second year. This area is just absolutely beautiful, with all its wild life and amazing views. The facilities like the store and showers are all new and well maintained. Also thank you for allowing us access to other areas of the property to help teach the kids!Roger and family

Nice campground. Most of the RV sites are concrete pads. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time floating down the river. My only complaint and reason for four stars instead of five is... Lots of people driving around the campground fast. Everyone needs to slow down and a speed limit needs to be enforced.

Beautiful campground! Upgraded concrete pads were nice and big, and it was nice to have both water & electric. Our toy hauler was experiencing electrical issues and we called the office and Jason came right down and assisted us and also another staff member Jim to help. Can’t say enough about their expedited service and on a Sunday! Thank you! Please know that the problem was on our end with our toy hauler NOT the campground. 😊

We go camping here every year. Sometimes in our RV, sometimes tent camping. The staff in the checkin building are wonderful and friendly. They always go out of their way to make sure my kiddos have a great time! They have worked hard to keep up the grounds and having an on site shower building is a perk! Looking forward to trying out one of their cabins soon!

Gotta LOVE riverfront!!!! Absolutely the BEST place to camp with your family. This year was the busiest I think I I've ever seen riverfront but it was still open, clean and beautiful! The only downfall was no rafts available to float this time but that will never stop our family from coming back. We call riverfront our home away from home!

I think they can find some kind of portable showers so the campers who don't have vehicles can have a shower. There were workers that came by fast on lawn mowers and atvs stirring up dust. Then the mowers mowed over two ares twice. Some employes came and pickup some trash but never got off the atv. We cleaned the burn pit up that had two bags of trash in it. Just some things I would change nice place to camp and float.
