The products, selection, and prices are pretty good. The customer service could be improved upon, though. Often times there are 4-5 people standing in line and only one cashier. That, or there is no cashier since everyone seems to just keep on stocking rather than checking customers out. Also, I don't think the manager likes me very much, even though I've generated quite a bit of business for the store.

This is a surprisingly well-staffed Dollar General. The store is clean and stocked with a variety of useful items -- as well as some less useful, but altogether perfectly fine items as well. Everything is cheap, and when it comes time to ring up everything at the register, there is always a staff member ready to help.

Staff has extremely bad customer service skills. I was greeted very rudely before I could speak a word. And was spoken to with attitude after I said I was there to pick up one item. I’ve worked in public for 25 years and never would have treated a customer the way I was treated. As a supervisor, I would have definitely wrote her up. Wish I could actually give a negative star.

Used to be like a mini Walmart, perfect for a quick stop if you needed nearly anything. For better or worse, this is no longer the case.Since the remodel the layout doesn't seem as logical and the selection less diverse.Children's clothing has been eliminated but adult clothing is still there in small quantities. Health, beauty, and cards seem to have increased while food, anything child centered, and kitchen wares seen to have decreased.Feels like a move towards a "drugstore" feel rather than a "general store" feel.

I love having a smaller store handy! It is sometimes a long line, and sometimes there music is way to loud, and sometimes they do not have sale items marked correctly. I do love the convenience of there location and size.

I can always count on dollar general to have a clean and friendly atmosphere,The only thing that could make it better is, if they could get the big bag of gravy train ,that has bacon and liver,flavors, you carry the small bag ,but I feed two big dogs.

Usually like to go here cuz it's convenient but almost always have products/stock in isles, but sometimes when need assistance staff hard to find, check out usually friendly prompt and courteous. Also I am disabled and almost always need a wheelchair anymore and they don't provide do don't go there much anymore...go to dreaded Wal Mart...yuck!!!!

Very friendly staff. Was great at noticing there was a coupon on one of my items for a BOGO free, and pointed it out to me, but then the coupon wouldn't work. He tried everything to get it to work though.

Dollar General has the products I need at a better price most of the time than anyplace else I can get them. I also enjoy using their coupons, especially the Saturday $5 off coupon.

The remodel is now physically appealing and the check-out area is much more functional. Product placement however is a bit confusing. I suggest a second look be taken at the plan-o-gram!

I always like coming here, the employees are friendly and always there if you need help finding anything. It is mask required and they do ask for exact change due to the change shortage so be mindful of that when going in but still a great place!

South Dollar General in Kirksville- close to my house, nice store, good variety of merchandise, they've got an insane selection of gift cards which is cool, staff is always friendly.

The staff here are very friendly. However, they do not hover. Huge selection. The lack of a star is because there are usually carts in every isle.
