The locals call this “The Cafe”, now I know why.If you’d like to have hometown cooking like I do, and eating with the locals, this is the place for you. My traveling companion and I stopped in for lunch and we had the broasted chicken special. It came with mashed potatoes and milk gravy, corn, and a hot dinner roll. The meal came with a bowl of chocolate pudding for dessert. My broasted chicken breast and wing were tender and juicy and very tasty and when I ask my companion, she stated that her chicken leg and thigh were also very good.Looking at the menu there’s a wide variety range from hamburgers, open-faced roast beef, to tenderloins that hang off the plate from what I saw arriving at the table next to us.Homemade pies include apple, pecan, peach, coconut cream, chocolate, blackberry, gooseberry, and rhubarb. It’s real hometown cooking and a the place is packed at lunchtime. There’s seven tables and three booths,and it’s a busy place.

Hours: M-Sat 6am to 8pm. Closed Sunday.I tried to set their hours on the maps app, but it never worked. 🙄Unassuming, clean, generous portions, good food.The breakfast sausage patties are very good!If you are in the area, give them a try!

The Cafe is always inviting and delicious. The menu has changed. The prices have increased however, still a reasonable place to eat. There are daily special and there's now a salad bar!The cheeseburger and curly fries from my last visit were close to perfect.

Its a great thing to have an awesome family restaurant. Great food good people. We love to support our community and we are thankful Shirley and her team have built an awesome "round table" for our small community. Stop in and grab a bite!!!!!

Great salad bar! They have an open-faced beef sandwich with mashed potatoes that is out of this world. There are country breakfasts that are delish. Catfish filets, hamburgers and even pork tenderloins that cover the entire plate.
