Fantastic fresh produce section. So many choices. And on many of them you can get spend about 10% more and get the organic option. Several are only offered in organic but it's not that much more. A good example would be there's three different ways to get broccoli there. Many great options on Frozen ready to eat items. I've just tried a few so I can't speak to that very much. Currently my drink obsession is Olipop. So far my favorites are the orange and the banana cream. So many soup options I can just name a few: beef chili, tomato bisque, corn chicken chowder, New England style clam chowder, there was about four or five more. Favorite sweet item is the raspberry oat bars. Oh my goodness. Haven't tried their Pizza because I'm kind of burnt out on pizza but you might like it. Back to the drinks there must be about a hundred different drink options, seriously, not counting the different brands of bottled water.

Top notch service! I visited this Whole Foods 23 Oct 2023, 15 minutes prior to closing. I wanted a cake with “Congratulations” written on it. With no one in bakery available at such a late time, Michael in food prep/pizza area volunteered and decorated the cake beautifully. I was amazed at how helpful and enthusiastic Michael was to do something out of his normal role and out of the kindness of his heart. What great staff. Thank you, Michael!

I wanted to highlight one specific Whole Foods employee, Clay. This human being really made my day by making me the Parmesan crusted chicken breast from scratch, which was unavailable at the time I was shopping. This small gesture meant a lot to me. I want to appreciate the empathy and understanding that this person has. He made me feel seen and heard not just as a customer, but as a person. He simply redefined what it means to understand somebody’s needs and try your best to care for them. Manu.

Not child friendly. Cashier was bossing around my 4 year old son for playing with his toy car. If you don’t like kids that’s fine but don’t try to parent my child who is acting fine. Smallest Whole Foods I’ve ever been to

Large organic grocery near the University of Missouri Kansas City.Overall, the grocery items offer little value with the highest prices, nicely presented items, with great lighting and high labor intensive show of produce. Pretty good show if you have nowhere else to go.It's a grocery store where there aren't any other grocery stores near.

One of the better whole foods out there, especially ready-made items (Urban Remedy products) and the food/salad bars. LOVE the kelp noodles in the salad bar and haven’t found those anywhere else. Otherwise, good ambiance, seating, and above average offerings in terms of Whole Foods across the country

What a neat place. I'm currently handing out samples for a company here and have never had the desire to visit here prior to today. I can tell you I have been missing out my 46 years of living. This place has an olive bar, the neatest cheese selection, drink selection, pastry selection. And the salad bar is the best I've ever seen with not just 2 soups but multiple. I might never leave.

Awesome location in the heart of the city.Next-door to UMKC, and right across the street from the plaza, this location is perfect. Tons of parking including a parking garage. This location is built into the floor level of apartments. Tons of fresh options as well as prepared foods. The prime discount is awesome. Make sure you download the app.

Overpriced and the staff is kind of uppity for the most part. The food is usually fresh tho and the place is always clean. Also, there's a food bar that is one of a kind and most of the items are allergy friendly or health conscious ((and still delicious))!!!

Very nice store and has a nice layout. As with most WholeFoods it is immaculately clean. When I feel like a baller, (or get a gift certificate from a friend for Christmas) I come hit the salad bar and always end up around $18-20 salads.Staff extremely nice. Not the forced niceness but a genuineness. Management must be good.

The cashier was awesome ! But something scared me ? They have a thing and it says pay with your hand or palm ? A scanner ? For chips that are in your hand maybe ? Not me ! The customers are in a big hurry , not friendly at all. But the people who work there are very helpful and friendly. Reminded me of the beginning of a scary movie. Just my thoughts ? I don't come from these parts lol.

Always find the store clean and well stocked with everything I need and some things unexpectedly I find new. This trip I always buy my Valentine's roses from Whole Foods they have the best prices and selections.

What happened to the selection that used to be in salad bar? Many empty containers. Today I bought a pepperoni/cheddar/grape/cracker box that had a moldy piece of cheese.

This market is very conveniently located near umkc campus. Extensive selection of somewhat difficult to find gourmet foods. The produce displays are attractive. Near 8 PM my wife and I dropped in to grab a quick meal from the massive food bar. At this time most of the food other than the salad bar did not look fresh and was mostly gone. I was surprised that at $10 a pound the food bars were not well stocked and 4 napkin dispensers all empty! As a result we selected two slices of pizza and some hot soup. The soup was very tasty but the pizza was quite unimpressive. If I had known I would be stuck in one of only 3 check out lines for over 10 minutes I would have gone to pizza 51 at the end of the block instead!

What an amazing array of fresh & frozen items. The arrangement of produce, meat, and nonperishables is reminiscent of art (aesthetically pleasing) at the Nelson Atkins Museum. The selection of deli items and prepared foods was marvelous. I purchased comestibles that I have never had before. The quality and quantity of novel and staple products was admirable. The employees were extremely friendly. You cannot miss the store, it is conveniently located with ample parking. Best of all, if you are am Amazon Prime member, as I am, you save additional hard earned dollars!

The cashiers are nice but it's confusing where to find things in the store. Once you find it ... the quality of the groceries are great. Higher priced but certain items aren't available anywhere else.

I'm here now and it's phenomenal!! The energy is great and the food is wonderful! There is so many vegan options and gluten free options it'll make your head spin. And the organic produce selection is wonderful as well!! Makes sense that this is called Whole Foods because I feel complete!!

I don't go to Whole Foods often since it's so far away, but I would more often if there was one in the Northland. I went today to get one of the amazing African hand woven baskets for a friend. It was hard to choose between the 2 colors they had in the size I wanted. Which one would you have picked?

I went to this store yesterday due to I needed to return something to Amazon. It was 830 am and the store was well staffed. I was disturbed how not one employee greeted me and said Good Morning are anything. Even while I was looking for the Amazon return counter no one asked if I needed help. I did grab a gentleman and he was polite at walking me through the steps for my return. I went back today thinking you know what I'm going to shop today. Again no Good Morning are anything. I left empty handed. I gave them 3 because the store was clean and well put together.
