The manager there is crazy!! I think her name is Debbie? I witnessed her pull an employee by his backpack because she wasn’t done talking to him. Then on a separate day I was in there buying dog food, the same manager yelled at all the employees like they were trash. To treat people like that and especially in front of customers, is completely unacceptable!! She needs to lose her job immediately.

Overpriced, I purchased a few items, I was asked if I wanted a bag, I did. However at no time did she state it would cost me. The bags are so flimsy it ripped before I even made it to my vehicle. As a member when it was your dog's birthday. They used to give you individual dog biscuits they don't even do that anymore. I really use to like petco, I will not be returning. Chewys or Petsmart for me!

The self pet wash cost $20 and NOTHING was working. No shampoo, no conditioner, the dryer was broke and the stalls were filthy. You can go to Tractor supply and get way more plus all the amenities, brushes, nail clippers, all the shampoo and conditioner for only $10. Go to a tractor supply with a pet wash. DO NOT WASTE $20 here, especially when zero employees wanted to help. They just kept pushing the issues off on someone else.

After purchasing dog treats here, I went to Target and saw the EXACT product for half the price. PETCO then asked about 3-4 donations (I wonder what is the % they keep) then asked for .10 cents for a bag.... NO WAY I ever go back!!!

Very disappointed. A 60 gal breeder was under the 50% off sign. Sign did not include 60 gal breeder. So I double checked with 2 store associates both said yes it was 50% off. Said ok if it is 50% off I'll take it. So they continued to bring it up to ring me out and then the cashier and manager wouldn't honor it even though it was their fault for employees being misinformed. I double checked everything on my end and not only did they not honor it they wasted my time and energy. I had to move 6 aquariums off the top of it to even get to it which again is why I made 100% sure it would be on sale before putting in work to get to it. Disgusting. This store also has a habit of always being horribly stocked. I can't even rely on them to have my cat food and dog food when I come in.

Cashiers at this store are awful. Debbie, pictured below was at the register on her phone scrolling and giggling instead of acknowledging I was attempting to make a purchase. Ended up leaving my cart of items behind and leaving.Employees also had the ladders and stools for the animal cages blocking half of the isles. I will not be back to this location.

Got fired and assaulted by an elderly lady that works here. And they lied and said I quit when I have video of the interaction. If you work here be ready to deal with what appears to be a mentally unstable elderly woman.

I returned a fish that had fin rot and they put it right back in the tank to infect the other fish. They said they were putting it in a quarantine tank and I walked back to check out the other fish. I saw the man put it right back in the tank. I wouldn’t trust buying another animal if they knowing do stuff like this. I will not be going back in the future.

When you call no one answers. When you try and make an appointment no answers. When I tried getting someone from the front to give a message to groomers in the back he sighs abd clearly has an attitude and says I need to leave a message. When I leave messages I don't get a call back. Looks like I'm off to find another groomer. Customer service is not hard to give

From the Vet to the store the staff were very friendly. In the big city of Kansas City the staff made you feel like it was a small town store and you were just catching up with an old friend. The store was very clean. I would definitely suggest my friends and family go here and shop.

horrible grooming place!! Just took my dog to his grooming appointment that was at 2:30. I was there at 2:20. They were running behind and told me it would take about 3-4 to get my dog finished (mind you this is a puppy bath, nothing extra). Normally takes about 1 hour , or an hour and a half. I told her I don’t think that’s going to workout for me I have things to do today. She asks the lady in the back because she said she’s takes a while with her haircuts. She comes back and tells me that they can get my dog done in a hour. Cool, I left. I get a text 30 mins later saying my dog was finished. I come and they overcharged me for VIP service which I didn’t ask for that, I set an appointment at 2:30pm. She tells me that she had to stop her haircut with her dog to groom my dog so basically it was an inconvenience to her EVEN THOUGH, my dog had an appointment at 2:30pm. HORRIBLE! Only plus is that the manager of PETCO , not the grooming place, refunded me back the VIP charge. Horrible first experience. Will be taking my pup back to petsmart, just wanted to go here cause it’s closer. Also, my dog looks horrible! She rushed my puppy and you can tell

Very nice store. Seems to be well laid out. I did have to ask where the crates were. I want given directions to the area, I was walked to the shelves where they were! Very pleasant experience!

The staff is always so helpful! The store is clean and laid out by products and manufacturers. This makes it easy to locate the brands you like and browse in the same area. Pricing is comparable to other pet retailers. I just wish this location offered pet training. The sign outside says it does, but it doesn't. Very convenient location and an abundance of parking. They offer an awards program also. I highly recommend this store.

The manager Debbie was very rude to my dog and I because we took longer then 30 min in the pet washing area. It was my first time using this space. Other people took at least 1 hour as well, but she came back and aggressively told me that we were taking too long and that we needed to get done and get out so they could clean the area before others came. She came back 10 min later and told me that she was going to turn the lights off in 8 min. We will never use this space again.

Took my dog here to use the self service dog wash because the place closer to me had maintenance issues today. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, I really just needed a higher powered nozzle to help get some of the winter coat off of him. Shampoo and conditioner were supplied and a scrubber, no aprons because people stole them (that's what staff said). And no dry brush like I assumed since they said they supplied "everything you need". There are some other upkeep issues going on here as most of the buttons didn't work properly, possibly just needed a product changed. The restraint could be better as well and I wish it had another loop on the other side for dogs like mine that don't like to cooperate. Small gripes for a $20 self wash experience but I likely won't be back for it any time soon.

Newer Petco location. Clean and decent staff members. However, this location seems to be lacking stock of Purina Pro Plan items for dogs. I have tried three times to purchase both kibble and canned dog food here and it is always very limited in stock.

Nica and Viente love having their nails done at our local Petco. Spa day and they actually enjoy it! I've used them when traveling out of town as well. The groomers are well trained and I can tell they care about my dogs. * We lost Viente to natural causes two weeks ago. He really enjoyed His grooming there and Thrive Vets.

They have everything and more to get you all set up. The staff went above and beyond to help with every question that I had. They have small animals, grooming, a Vet., a ton of fish and more! Great place for your common pet and a TON of supplies.

I bought deworming medicine at Petco on line for my dog. I picked it up at the store to save shipping. When I reached home I wanted to start the medicine right away as he has been having bought of diarrhea. Much to my surprise no medicine was in the box just the directions to take it. I called the store and they said I could bring it back to the store for an exchange or refund, I live 20 minutes away. When I reached the store I was told they were out of the medicine they would have to ship it to me. They assured me it wouldn't take more than 3 days. When I checked tracking it says it will take 5-6 days. This happened on a Wednesday and they said it would be at my house on Saturday. Tracking now says next Tuesday. I am furious to say the least. I do believe this does it as a customer of Petco I will take my business elsewhere. Not happy!
