The shelves are bare a lot of the time. Sometimes it’s hard to find what you need and there are people in the parking lot who will walk up and bang on your car or will yell at you while your walking in. It’s a hit or miss a lot of the time. I try not to come here as much as possible. But it is a good place to run in and run out.

This place is never open on time. Change the store hours or get some new employees. Better yet just close it already edit: sitting out front with a million other people when it should be open. Regular occurrence. Please do something about this EDIT: New management, complete turn around. Still some register issues but that's because they're understaffed. Always on time and clean store

Its okay...this location tends to always have items for shelving and in boxes both packed and unpacked in most of the isles, its literally an obstacle course whenever I go but I guess the plus would be they are always in full stock of the items I need. They usually only have 1 main register open also, which can be time consuming if your rushed and certain attitudes can make your customer service here less than exemplary. But overall satisfied that household items/cleaning products are readily available.

This store is terrible if there was a way to leave no stars I would they never open on time and the are ghetto to the point this store should be shut down. Was happy when the location opened but it has been disappointing ever since the opening at least have a team that will abide by the store hrs. They act as if they don't want to work anyhow.

The store was very,,,clean early in the morning. I was greeted with a smile and a good morning. Employees were stocking; the cashier was at her register. I asked for some light bulbs, the employee took me to the ail and pointed to where they were. Very friendly, very courteous, completely stocked. I found everything I needed and one item I didn't know I wanted.Their decorative boxes are nice, for women. Just a pleasant experience. It was quiet too.

Just pulled up trying to grab 2 things for my baby and because I was not male I was told they where closed but the man right infront of me got in the door one of the worst family dollars in kansas city

Please shut this location down. It says they open up at 8am but when I get here the doors are locked at 9am. This is something that happens often. They got the gates up but the doors locked

Came up to the store to get some cleaning products for work, black female employee came up, locked the doors and said that they were out of change and they won't be open for 20 mins. 5-8 other customers came up only to notice doors were locked and left for another location that actually operates like a legit business

Don’t you ever EVER come here for some snacks or anything. Best take your bottom to a different family dollar that’s not so ghetto and in the trenches. plus this place is too dayumn high. seven dollars for a pack of m&ms and 6 dollars for a starbucks drink? then i woke up the next morning sh*tting my brains out. And when i was eating those m&ms it tasted hella weird. ain’t never taking my black bottom here ever. next time i’m going to the suburbs.

It is a pretty decent enough store with good service. I wish they would clean up their parking lot more often and empty their trash cans out front. Keep the aisles clear of boxes, just cuz it's truck day I shouldn't know it. Restock the store, one row at a time.

It was ok/typical, I've never encountered any difficulties when I shop here. .walked around searching for what I came for. Ran into a worker (they're always willing to assist when I've asked) who pointed me where the item was I was seeking (lol..it was right next to her). But I had to go for something different than what I had in mind cause the particular item was not available. I usually shop here maybe once a month at the most and this is the first time since the "pandamic" that I noticed EVERYONE shopping wore a mask 🤗.

The place use to always be stocked but for some months now they haven't been restocking on a lot of other things in the store.Also they open and close the store when they want to even though there's a specific time on the window of when they should open and close.

Store is not friendly to patrons. Hazards with stock sitting in Isle. Very rude staff. Won't spend at this place. That's why stores close in the inner city. Getto attitudes hurts business.

If I could give zero stars I definitely would this is one of the most ghetto family dollars in Kansas City 😂 one of the employees really tried to tell me to put on my mask while not wearing one herself and actually many of the employees weren't wearing a mask and the store is always dirty. I won't be back.

54th and Prospect. Family Dollar is much better than it was last year.. It's been remodeled And the store is stocked better than before... The only PROBLEM IS THE PARKING LOT REALLY NEEDS ATTENTION..

I really like this store. It's very convenient for me, I live right down the street from the store. It's always clean and employees are nice and very helpful. I highly recommend going to this store over some of the others in kanas city.

Store is dirty and the shelves are empty of cleaning products, only has 2 shopping carts, but the employees are very helpful , friendly, professional and need more staff but are doing their best with what they have to work with

Love this store! They have nice selection of plus size clothing for women who wear 3-4x clothing. My kids also love to shop for shoes and clothes here too.

I pass this store frequently and trash is always over flowing from the dumpster and litter is surrounding the property. Please be mindful of the community in which you serve and operate.

Its my local store. Seems like they need a manager maybe or give personnel a raise. Workers dont stay long.
