My car broke down near the bait shop, just nearly making it into to shop’s parking lot. Trey was so kind as to allow me, along with my two littles and grandma to come into the shop to wait for our ride. It was incredibly hot today and he let us sit in the a/c while we waited & contacted the necessary people. He talked with us & didn’t treat us like a bother. He also made recommendations for bird/dog food & I assured him that we would be back to purchase for our two dogs & our wild bird friends. Thank you!

I love that I don’t have to drive to Lees Summit to get my dogs food. It’s a great, local, small business I am happy to support. The gentlemen working were super nice and helpful, even carried my dog food to car for me. Very nice.

I purchased vaccines and administered to my dog. My dog became lethargic. I took my dog to the vet where the diagnosed her with kidney failure. She had to be euthanized. She had a kennel mate. He is well he did not receive the vaccine. I’m looking for anyone else who had the same response.

This is an old bait shop run by a very nice fella who is a real helpful guy. We went for a dietary supplement for our Cane Corso, and he took great care of us. He is apparently well know for raising show quality dogs and knows his stuff! I highly recommend him and the store to all!

They have best customer service its a small crampped space but had alot of good stuff. I will be going there for all my fur babys needs from now on! Amazing people and great stuff. I spent way more then planned when i showed up lol..... my dogs are spoiled 😂😂They are freaking awesome!!

Been calling them for a week but they never answer and voicemail isn't set up.....to get pricing and availability for cat specialty food. I won't waste a trip there and will keep getting it from Kennedy's Animal Clinic in Raytown. Their prices are cheaper than Chewy autoship pricing.

Love this business. I've come here plenty of times for food and supplies for my dog. Excellent selection, and knowledgeable staff.I checked out the bait and tackle side of the shop, and was impressed with the selection. I'll be choosing this place to stock up before my next fishing trip.Plan ahead for bait as they are closed on Saturday.

The gentleman who runs this business is a great guy. Always has good advice, and genuinely cares about his customers. I have Great Danes. Our female just had a litter of pups. She was emotionally stressed, and off her feed. This man gave me great advice, suggested some great products, and it helped. I'm going back today for some more. It is a small, crowded store, but the owner has a big heart and that makes the difference!

Nice welcoming establishment, always stocked with whatever I need. Bait, tackle and dog food! If you feed RAW and looking for a spot to grab some their typically stocked. And they have large Styrofoam Bobbers👀 the LARGE ones those are so hard to find these days, don't hesitate to stop

Worth driving a little out of the way. Friendly staff, great products and a locally, family-owned business. Support your local, small, family businesses. Besides the Victor, no grain Salmon dog food, my Boxer loves the no grain peanut butter cookie treats.Edited: I just read other reviews and don't understand the remarks on rude or bad service. These guys are always nice and friendly.

I was previously buying my dog food online, I'm so glad I found this place! I'm so happy there is a local business that carries higher end dog food for my spoiled pack :-) Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit of a headache and the store is a little crowded, but I have no doubt about the quality of the products they carry I will definitely return.
